Miyabi, as a highly powerful main DPS, has maintained top-tier level since her release and is widely used across various game modes. In the upcoming Version 2.1, her long-awaited rerun is finally arriving.

This guide will provide thorough information on the Miyabi build, including a basic introduction, W-Engines, Drive Discs, Bangboo, and Recommended Teams. Let’s go!

 

 

Basic Introduction

Miyabi is an S-rank character with the Frost Attribute who belongs to the Anomaly Specialty. She leads Hollow Special Operations Section 6, which is dedicated to eliminating any threats posed by the Hollows.

One of the highlights of Miyabi is her Frost Attribute. It's quite similar to the Ice element, it can still benefit from Ice Buffs like damage bonuses and the ability to trigger Freeze, Shatter, and Frotsbite. Miyabi needs to stack the Fallen Frost to use her Skills.

However, what makes her unique is her own Anomaly Specialty. Separate from the Ice element, meaning it can still trigger Disorders on enemies under the Ice Anomaly. As part of Miaybi's core passive, it also triggers Frostburn on enemies with the Icefire debuff.

Can deal a lot of DMG with the Frostburn Anomaly. Strong Basic Attack DMG, especially with the maximum Fallen Frost stacks. Basic Attack - Shimotsuki can cover a wide range and is very useful against multiple enemies. Team comps are flexible and can be used with F2P Agents.	She really needs her W-Engine, Hailstorm Shrine, to deal a lot of damage. Her DMG is sub-par if she uses other W-Engines.

Miyabi's Core Skill is an essential component of her mechanics. It not only improves Miyabi's Frost damage by inducing enemies to enter the Frostburn state but also helps teammates accumulate 20% more Anomaly Buildup.

Miyabi's Basic Attack and Special Attack are her main source of damage. The Ultimate also inflicts Frost damage on foes. When compared to these skills, Dodge and Assist appear to be less important.

So the Skill Priority we recommend is Core Skill > Basic Attack / Special Attack > Chain Attack > Dodge / Assist.

Basic Rotation

For Miyabi, the key is to remember how to stack Frost Atop the Snow. Once you reach 6 stacks, the third stage of her Charged Basic Attack will unleash a powerful burst.

There are five ways to gain stacks:

• Gain 3 stacks of Frost Atop the Snow automatically at the start of battle
• +2 stacks by using Enhanced Special Attack
• +3 stacks upon using Ultimate
• +1 stack from Frostburn: Break, with a 10-second CD.(No need to pay attention to this — it triggers naturally during standard output)
• +2 stacks when inflicting Disorder (Anomaly)

Among these, methods 2, 3, and 5 are the most controllable and reliable for consistent stacking.

Effects: CRIT DMG increases by 50%. When using an EX Special Attack or when any squad member applies an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the equipper's Ice DMG increases by 20%, stacking up to 2 times and lasting 15s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
Pull Recommendation: The only Anomaly W-Engine that boosts both CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG — its alternatives are significantly weaker, making it a high-priority pull.

There is no doubt that Miyabi's best W-Engine is her signature W-Engine: Hailstorm Shrine.

Aside from the bonus CRIT Rate and DMG, it gives Miyabi a 20% Ice DMG buff every time she uses her EX special or an Anomaly is triggered stacking up to 2 times.

Giving her a total Ice DMG of 40%, this W-Engine helps her reach her 80% CRIT Rate Stat goal easier.

Pull Recommendation: Top A-Rank Choice. Easily triggered ATK and target damage boosts. The drawback is that it requires five Premium Passes to fully refine.

Pull Recommendation: A-Rank Secondary Option. Grants increased Anomaly Mastery when any character inflicts an Attribute Anomaly — easy to trigger, with high rewards when fully stacked.

4-Pc	Landing a critical hit on an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dodge Counter, or EX Special Attack increases the equipper's ATK by 9% for 6s. The buff duration for different skills are calculated separately.

To build up a strong DPS on the battlefield, we highly recommend equipping 4-Pc Branch & Blade Song and 2-Pc Woodpecker Electro.

Therefore, the priority order for Mindscape Cinema is: M2 = M6 > M1 > M4.

 

Miyabi Reference Stats

With 80% Crit Rate in combat, Miyabi can fully benefit from her Core Passive.

As a DPS, she can still aim for 100% Crit Rate.

Branch and Blade Song also provides an additional 30% Crit DMG in combat.

At Mindscape Cinema Level 2, you gain 15% Crit Rate in combat, so with 73% base Crit Rate, you effectively reach 100%. Aim for full Crit.

Higher Mindscape levels beyond Level 2 offer similar stat panels as 2+1 and don’t provide significant differences.

*The first number represents the Mindscape Cinema level, and the second number represents the exclusive W-Engine level.

Therefore, the priority order is M0S1 → M1S1 → M2S1.

In order to activate both of Miyabi's core skill, you need either a character from the same Faction or a support character along with an Anomaly DPS that can assist in triggering Disorder often.

Lucy or Soukaku enhances the team’s overall performance by boosting attack power and energy regeneration, ensuring Miyabi can maintain a high damage output with shorter downtime.
