AFK Journey Season 7 titled Crown of Ashes is one of the biggest seasonal updates the game has ever received. Seasonal Progression System

Just like other past seasons the Crown of Ashes also introduces a separate progression path. You can get Season Resonance Levels, collect Season Equipment, unlock Season Artifacts and improve your seasonal power throughout the season. Soul Pact System

Soul Pact is a progression system that has been added in this season. It is a replacement of the Faction Talent system that was there in the last 4 seasons. Artifacts

Seasonal Artifacts is one of the most impactful progression systems in AFK Journey. Crown of Ashes has added some powerful artifacts that will give you some unique combat effects. Vine Snare Spell is one of the best artifacts available this season. After you start a battle the vines target the frontmost enemy and immobilize them. The effect then spreads to nearby enemies which gives you a huge opportunity for crowd control. The vines also deal continuous magic damage which means you can use it for both control and damage-focused teams.

When you upgrade Vine Snare Spell the damage output increases a lot. At maximum enhancement levels the artifact can additionally absorb enemy HP and shields while reducing their Vitality. Because of this it is very useful in longer battles.

Another good artifact is Sunlance Spell. This artifact creates light spears whenever your allies cast Ultimate abilities. A new Primal Lord boss called Marshtoad has been added. This boss uses random AoE attacks, knockdowns, poison effects and dangerous battlefield mechanics. Using its ultimate ability it can apply continuous poison damage while reducing team effectiveness. A lot of heroes have also got Enhance Force upgrades.

District and Guild Optimizations
