AFK Journey Voracia Build Guide: Best PvP Teams, EX Weapon & Charms

Voracia joined AFK Journey on August 6, 2026, arriving as an S-Level Mauler Mage with one goal: gather the enemy team onto one plate and turn it into the main course. Her kit blends AoE control, explosive Magic Damage, self-healing and permanent stat theft, allowing her to shine as either a main carry or a dangerous secondary DPS.

She is not completely plug-and-play, though. Voracia needs the right terrain, reliable protection and enough clustered targets to activate Fervor consistently. This AFK Journey Voracia build guide covers her best investment breakpoints, Exclusive Equipment & PvP teams.

Voracia is not a completely plug-and-play carry. The supplied CN testing notes give her two distinct roles. As a main carry, she wants Cyran and a map where her Ultimate can catch most of the opposing formation. As a secondary carry, she needs external Unaffected support and a frontline sturdy enough to keep the fight from collapsing before she starts cooking.

Prydwen has not yet published finalized mode ratings or a full review for Voracia, so the PvP conclusions below should be treated as early testing rather than settled global consensus.

 

How Voracia’s Fervor Mechanic Works

Voracia begins battle with 600 Energy and has a unique mechanic called Fervor. Whenever one of her skills hits at least three enemies—or every surviving enemy if fewer than three remain—that individual skill gains Fervor.

Her Ultimate, The Main Course, creates a plate beneath the densest enemy area. It pulls enemies within two tiles into a much smaller zone, knocks them down for four seconds, deals heavy Magic Damage and heals Voracia based on the actual damage inflicted. Once the Ultimate gains Fervor, Voracia also receives 70 Penetration during the cast.

This explains why the supplied guide places so much importance on terrain. The Ultimate automatically chooses the densest available cluster, but it cannot magically pull five enemies together when the opposing formation is spread across an awkward map. Narrow terrain and compact defenses are basically an all-you-can-eat buffet; widely separated enemies are not.

Prime Cut attacks the densest enemy cluster within range. After gaining Fervor, it performs an additional slash. Vino Inferno covers an area in burning wine, repeatedly damaging enemies over five seconds before gaining an extra explosion through Fervor. Together, these skills let Voracia build toward a much nastier second phase of the fight.

 

Best Ascension and Investment for Voracia

Mythic+: The Core Breakpoint

Mythic+ unlocks Chef’s Choice, the defining part of Voracia’s build.

Once all three of her active skills have gained Fervor, Voracia devours the enemy that has dealt the highest cumulative damage. The target takes a massive hit, while Voracia permanently absorbs part of its basic stats, subject to a cap based on her own initial stats. Non-Boss enemies also permanently lose all Energy.

This gives Voracia much more than another burst skill. She can remove the enemy team’s most productive damage dealer from its normal rhythm while making herself progressively stronger. Mythic+ is therefore the minimum serious target for players who want her to function as more than an opening AoE controller.

Supreme+: Better Pressure Against Durable Teams

At Supreme+, damage from Voracia’s Ultimate also reduces the targets’ maximum HP by an amount equal to 35% of the damage dealt.

That matters against teams built around healing, temporary HP and repeated defensive resets. Voracia is already trying to catch several enemies in one cast; Supreme+ ensures that surviving the first plate does not mean recovering back to full as though nothing happened.

For most players, the practical targets are:

Premium PvP build: Supreme+ with EX +15 and relevant Refines

 

Voracia Exclusive Equipment Priority

Voracia’s Exclusive Equipment upgrades improve the permanent stats stolen through Chef’s Choice.

At EX +5, she absorbs a larger percentage of the target’s basic stats and receives a higher maximum cap. At EX +10, Chef’s Choice also devours the enemy with the second-highest cumulative damage.

EX +10 is the real mechanical breakpoint. Instead of punishing one enemy carry, Voracia can feast on the two opponents responsible for most of the team’s damage. This is especially valuable against multi-core defenses where disabling only one threat is not enough.

At EX +15, the absorbed percentage and maximum cap increase again. It is a useful stat upgrade, but it does not change her gameplay as dramatically as EX +10.

In Rivalry modes, Refine 2 increases Voracia’s damage after she casts her Ultimate and permanently improves the Energy gained from attacks after her first Ultimate. Refine 4 adds Haste and DEF Penetration. Refine 2 is the more efficient competitive breakpoint, while Refine 4 is aimed at accounts already investing heavily in PvP.

 

Best Magic Charm for Voracia

A confirmed Season 7 best-in-slot Charm has not yet been assigned to Voracia in the current Charm database.

For a main-carry build, effects that accelerate her first Ultimate or increase skill damage, Haste and offensive penetration should receive priority. A secondary-carry Voracia can afford to trade some offense for survivability, particularly when the formation lacks reliable Unaffected or shielding support.

 

Best Voracia PvP Teams

Blightshroom Wilder Shell

Thador + Cyran + Voracia + two of Pang, Ravion, Lily May, Eironn or Lyca

This is the most straightforward main-carry Voracia shell from the supplied PvP chart. Place Voracia directly behind Thador so she becomes his lieutenant. At EX +10, Thador grants his lieutenant 350 starting Energy, pushing Voracia much closer to an early The Main Course. His shields also help her survive long enough to build Fervor, while Darkmoon lowers enemy defenses after allied Ultimates begin rolling.

Cyran provides extra grouping and crowd control, making it easier for Voracia’s skills to hit multiple enemies and activate their Fervor effects. The two flexible slots should both be Wilders, since Thador is the only Wilder in the fixed core and Blightshroom requires three Wilders to deploy.

Choose Pang or Ravion when Voracia needs more protection and stability. Lily May adds anti-Ultimate pressure, Eironn offers even more grouping, and Lyca supports a faster offensive start. Blightshroom then complements the team with additional pressure against controlled enemies, turning Voracia’s first successful pull into a much more dangerous burst window.

 

Orson Mauler Shell

Hepler + Cyran + Voracia + two of Kazim, Satrana, Gerda or Lily May

This shell gives Voracia the sturdy frontline and extended control window she needs. Hepler absorbs pressure, taunts nearby enemies after transforming, and provides healing and shields to weakened allies. Cyran then gathers enemies with his black hole and throws isolated targets back into the main cluster, helping Voracia land The Main Course on multiple targets and activate Fervor more consistently.

Choose Kazim for extra knock-up pressure and follow-up damage, or Satrana to apply continuous damage and reduce enemy healing. Gerda adds opening disruption, healing and Unaffected support at EX +10, while Lily May can interrupt a dangerous enemy Ultimate and provide another reliable damage source.

Hepler and Voracia already provide two Maulers, so selecting Kazim, Satrana or Gerda supplies the third Mauler required to deploy Orson. Since only Lily May is not a Mauler, every valid two-hero combination shown in the guide automatically meets this requirement. Orson then improves Voracia’s durability through its Spirit-marked damage reduction, making this a stable secondary-carry setup.

 

Midnight Hunter Celestial/Hypogean Shell

Mehira adds wide-area Charm and disruption, while Cyran gathers enemies into tighter clusters for Voracia’s The Main Course and Fervor effects. The two flexible slots must both come from the listed Celestial/Hypogean pool, since Mehira plus those two heroes are needed to meet Midnight Hunter’s three-hero faction requirement. Midnight Hunter then provides its Spirit-marked hero with extra ATK, Haste and healing based on damage dealt.

Choose Dunlingr for rule-based Ultimate or healing control, Aliceth for ranged pressure and knockback, Kulu for explosive AoE damage and battlefield obstruction, or Alna for frontline stability, Haste suppression and protection for a chosen Winter Warrior. When using Dunlingr’s Spellbind order, his Mythic+ exemption should normally be assigned to Voracia so she can still cast her Ultimate.

This is the premium control-heavy Voracia setup, combining repeated grouping, crowd control and enough protection for her to complete the Fervor cycle.

 

Should You Pull Voracia?

Players who created an account within the last couple of days and want a strong early Arena experience can reasonably pull Voracia. Her grouping, crowd control and burst can punish less-developed defenses very effectively.

Accounts created close to the upcoming collaboration period should wait until the event information is revealed before spending everything. Established players with mature PvP teams have more freedom to skip her, watch how she performs next season and reconsider through future selector or swap-ticket options.

Voracia is powerful, but she is not universally mandatory. She is at her best when the account can provide Cyran, suitable terrain, reliable Unaffected support and a frontline that refuses to fall over.

Voracia turns clustered defenses into a full-course meal, but only when her team prepares the table properly. Aim for Mythic+ and EX +10, protect her with Cyran, Pang, Ravion or Valorshield, and choose formations that let The Main Course hit several enemies at once.
