Zandrok is a new super rare Warrior from the Mauler faction. As a physical melee hero, he brings control, team buffs, and unique terrain-destruction abilities, making him a versatile all-rounder. Here’s a full breakdown of his Skills, Game Modes, Team, & Pulling advice.
What we cover:
Skill Breakdown
Ultimate: Savage Slash
Zandrok lifts his axe and slams down on enemies within 2 tiles, dealing damage equal to a percentage of his max HP (12% at base, up to 20% when maxed), knocking them into the air, and destroying all destructible obstacles in the area. It’s a great skill for breaking formations and clearing the battlefield.
Core Skill: Rallying Roar
Passive effect: At the start of battle, Zandrok summons illusions that charge in a 5-tile-wide wedge toward the enemy side. They destroy every destructible object in their path (including arena walls, the middle part of Kulu’s barricade, tombstones, etc.) and give all allies they pass through a permanent buff:
- Zandrok gains 50% max HP
- Other allies gain 20% max HP
- All inspired allies also get 40 Lifesteal, 20 Haste, and 100% Movement Speed for 8 seconds.
Active effect (when maxed): Zandrok can actively inspire nearby allies within range, granting them 40 Lifesteal and 20 Haste again. This skill has an 11-second cooldown and is the heart of his kit.

Skill 3: Shock Stomp
Zandrok stomps the ground, dealing damage equal to 15% of his max HP to enemies within 1 tile and stunning them for 1.5 seconds. With a short cooldown of only 7 seconds, this skill adds strong crowd control.
Skill 4: Hero Focus
Increases Zandrok's Health, and when the buff from Rallying Roar is active, he gains an additional 12% Health boost.
Exclusive Weapon & Awakening Skill
Exclusive Weapon: Hunter’s Fury
At Lv1, his normal attacks deal extra damage equal to 4% of his max HP (when above 50% health).
At Lv3, all allies inspired by Rallying Roar have their next normal attack enhanced, dealing extra damage equal to 15% of their own max HP (not exceeding Zandrok’s max HP).
Awakening Skill: Enhance Force
Any healing Zandrok receives beyond his max HP is converted into extra max HP (up to 50% of his original HP), making him much tankier in long fights.
Where He Shines & Best Game Modes
PvP Potential:
Zandrok’s kit really stands out in PvP, especially against heroes that rely on terrain like Kulu. His opening charge can break key obstacles (like the middle boulder), creating paths for your team. The movement speed boost also helps melee comps rush into the backline much faster.
PvE / AFK Stages:
In campaign mode, his obstacle destruction and opening buff are extremely useful. He might even work at just one copy (without upgrades), making him what some call a “one-copy wonder” for certain stages.
Damage Type Note:
All of Zandrok’s damage scales with his HP, but it’s normal damage—not true damage or defense ignore. That means against high-defense enemies, his damage might feel lacking. Please note that his kit doesn’t work well in Dream Rom & Boss Fights.

Team Ideas
Zandrok works best in teams that use his early charge and terrain-breaking strengths:
Mauler Rush Team: Pair with melee heroes like Mikola to use the early Haste and Movement Speed to dive the enemy backline. This comp lacks burst damage, so be careful against teams with high damage or healing reduction.
Baelran Synergy: Zandrok’s HP and Lifesteal buffs greatly improve Baelran’s performance. This team is better on offense and weak against heal-reduction.
Mauler + Baelran Comp: In Peak Arena, Zandrok can make Mauler teams more flexible and durable. This is especially good for players who don’t have strong PvP Celestial or Hypogean heroes.
Pulling Advice
We believe Zandrok is more of a strategic pick rather than a must-pull hero:
Free-to-play players: Wait 1–2 weeks before deciding. See how he performs in real battles before spending resources.
Diamond planning: we remind you that Ravon (a fan-favorite hero) is coming later this season—and he’s likely going to be strong. It’s smart to save around 70k–100k diamonds just in case.
Zandrok is uniquely designed and brings useful tools—especially for melee teams and breaking terrain. But his damage is limited, so only pull if he fits your team’s needs.
Conclusion
Zandrok is a fun and flexible warrior-support hybrid. He can be very powerful in the right situation—like Peak Arena or certain event modes—but needs a specific team to really shine. Decide based on your current roster and diamond savings.
