Aniimo Season 1 Part 2, titled Departure with the Wind: Part 2, went live on October 29, 2026. It adds a new map called the Whisperwake Isles, 51 new Aniimo from 32 new species, permanent real-time 1v1 Duels and a Halloween event lineup. Part 2 runs until the December 10 update that launches Season 2, and most events close on December 9.
The update lands at a good moment for Pawprint Studio. The official announcement says Aniimo has passed 15 million players worldwide, and this is the first major content drop since the September launch. The game is free to play on PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android, so everything below applies on whichever platform you play.

Whisperwake Isles: the new map
The Whisperwake Isles are a water-themed island cluster, and they sit apart from Breezy Plains, which was the only open-world region until now. This is the main exploration target of Part 2, and it comes with new scenery, new habitats and Aniimo you will not find on the mainland.
The map is split into four areas: Crescent Bay, Rosy Mirelands, Wildwater Gorge and Cloudreach Falls. The names hint at the mix, from a sheltered bay and a marshy wetland to a rushing river canyon and a huge waterfall. The preview also teases an island-sized beast, so it is worth poking around the edges of the map.

Three new story quests arrive with the region: A Tale of Tide and Song, Secluded Seas and Challenge of the Roaring Rapids. Preview coverage says the isles unlock at character level 55 and Grade I Trailblazer rank, after the first of those stories. If you cannot sail yet, check your progress in the quest log first.
The First Visit to the Whisperwake Isles event rewards you for exploring the new region and stays open for all of Part 2.
51 new Aniimo and Prismana forms
Part 2 adds 51 new Aniimo across 32 new species. That includes new evolutions and variations, and new Prismana forms also show up around the world. Prismana Aniimo are the rare rainbow-colored forms of the game, and several of them are tied to the new map this season.
Four standard Prismana forms belong to the Whisperwake Isles: Prismana Whirlbite, Prismana Gachapus, Prismana Jabster and Prismana Sugartini. They are drawn out as you nurture the isles' ecosystem. Four more Prismana forms are season-exclusive and rotate weekly through the Vein Abundance event, covered in the events section below.

Two season-exclusive Prismana Aniimo are available for the whole of Part 2, and they come from different reward tracks.

Hypnyto is the first cat-like Aniimo in the game, and Ekrim is a Dark-element Aniimo. Both are season-exclusive, so plan your Handbook and achievement progress before December 9.
There is also a milestone worth mentioning. Jaguaraun is the first Aniimo designed by a player, created by a winner of the first Aniimo Co-Dev Contest. It is available through Resonance Fantasia from November 20 to December 9. A second contest has been announced without a date.
PvP: 1v1 Duels and Operation: Egg Heist
Competitive players get two permanent additions. Real-Time 1v1 Duels let two players battle each other directly. The second is a new fair-play PvP mode for Operation: Egg Heist, where teams compete over eggs. The developer describes it as a fair-play mode, so results should depend less on whose roster is stronger, and the Egg Heist area is set to level 50.
One caution: the Egg Heist PvP mode was listed as in testing at release, so expect rule tweaks while the developer collects feedback.

Two limited-time modes join them. Aniimo Dash is an open-world racing event, and the Holo-Battle Sim gets new Dark, Earth and Lightning stages. The developer has not published separate dates for either one yet. Nightmare and Chaos modes also pick up new Sanctum maps, which is good news if you have already cleared the old ones.
Events and rewards
The season leans into Halloween. The main themed event is Night Parade, where you welcome Aniimo guests at the Pumpkin House, decorate the Candy House and mix your own fragrances. Rewards include an Aniipod Ultra, a Tumbler, Sparkling Crystal, Vein Essence and an Avatar Frame. Magical Night is the Home counterpart, adding two limited crops, Magic Pumpkin and Memoryglow Fruit, along with pumpkin lanterns and a mischievous Pumpkin God.

Vein Abundance runs from October 30 to December 6 and is the one to plan around if you collect Prismana Aniimo. Each week a special Prismana form appears in one area of the Whisperwake Isles and one area of Breezy Plains. The four season-exclusive Prismana forms take turns: Prismana Pouchwisp (Nov 2 to 8), Prismana Royalby (Nov 9 to 15), Prismana Jeburst (Nov 16 to 22) and Prismana Glameep (Nov 23 to 29). The first window, October 30 to November 1, lists Crescent Bay without naming a form, and the cycle closes with a Prismana Carnival from November 30 to December 6. Spawn rates and resource gains are also boosted during the event.
Tidal Path Rewards is the season login event, and the Prismana Snapshots photo event rewards you for photographing Prismana Aniimo. Reward details for the login and exploration events are in the in-game notices.
Other changes and maintenance
The level cap rises from 60 to 70 for both characters and Aniimo, which gives your team room to grow on the new map. The Sparkling system also gets a rework with Hue Swap and a Sparkling Original color scheme, and the Aniimo Overview now supports one-tap share images of your collection. Aniimo kept at Home or in the Park can also be viewed from Aniimo Management.
The update was preceded by regional server maintenance on October 28 and 29. Players received 500 Glimmer as compensation. If you are catching up now, spend your season Stamps before Part 2 ends on December 9, since unspent Stamps are reported to convert into Credits when a part closes.
For a simple order of play, head to the Whisperwake Isles story first, since it unlocks the region, then set aside time each week for the Vein Abundance Prismana. Night Parade and Magical Night can be done at a relaxed pace, as both run until December 9.
FAQ
When does Aniimo Season 1 Part 2 end?
Most Part 2 content ends on December 9, 2026. Season 2 begins with the December 10 update, so season-exclusive rewards need to be claimed before then.
Can I get the season-exclusive Aniimo for free?
Prismana Ekrim comes from Season Achievements. Prismana Hypnyto sits on the Companion Handbook, which preview coverage lists as the paid track, so check the in-game Handbook page for exact tiers before you commit.
Can I visit the Whisperwake Isles right away?
Preview coverage lists character level 55, Grade I Trailblazer rank and the A Tale of Tide and Song story as the requirements. If the map is still locked for you, finishing that story line is the first thing to check.
Is the Egg Heist PvP mode final?
It was listed as in testing at release, so rules and rewards may change. Real-Time 1v1 Duels are a permanent feature.
Will the 51 new Aniimo disappear when Part 2 ends?
The new Aniimo are permanent additions to the Idyll Continent. Only the season-exclusive Prismana forms and limited-time events have end dates.
Is Aniimo free to play?
Yes. It is free to play with in-game purchases, and it is available on PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android.
