Aniimo Tier List 2026 – Best Aniimo Ranked by Role

Idyll is a big place, and not every Aniimo you catch is worth a spot on your active team. Some creatures carry entire fights on their own, while others are fine for exploring but fall off hard once real bosses show up. This Aniimo tier list breaks down which creatures are actually worth investing in right now, and which ones you can leave in the box.

Since Aniimo just launched, this list leans on closed beta testing, datamined kit information, and early player consensus rather than months of live meta data. Expect some movement as balance patches land and players push further into endgame content — we'll keep this updated as that happens.

Full Aniimo Tier List

This ranking looks at overall usefulness across exploration, boss fights, and team building — not just raw damage. A creature that hits hard but dies instantly, or one that's amazing solo but clashes with every team comp, won't sit at the top here even if its numbers look good on paper.

How We Ranked This List

We weighted a handful of factors when placing each Aniimo: how much damage or utility it brings relative to its role, how well it survives real encounters instead of just farming fodder, how flexible it is across different team comps, and whether its kit still matters once you're deep into progression rather than just the first few hours. Aniimo with niche or situational kits generally land a tier lower than ones that are useful in nearly any lineup.

Beauty, popularity, and how fun a creature is to look at don't factor into placement here — this is strictly a performance ranking, so don't be surprised if your favorite isn't sitting in S.

Best DPS Aniimo

DPS is where most of your team's damage comes from, so this is usually the role players care about most.

Stellarys stands out for its clone mechanic, which lets it keep dealing damage even while repositioning, making it unusually safe for an aggressive attacker. Fulmintis, especially in its Prismana form, leans into critical hits and energy-based combo attacks that reward players who track cooldowns closely. Coraliz trades some raw attack for a marking ability that boosts damage from the rest of the team, which makes it a strong pick even outside of a pure damage-race comp. Malevsera has a burst window tied to her Demonic State that both heals her and hits everything nearby, giving her staying power that a lot of glass-cannon DPS lack.

Best Break Aniimo

Break creatures stun enemies and make them easier to capture, which matters a lot once you start fighting anything above early-game wildlife.

Geoclaw stacks an ice effect that snaps an enemy's Break gauge once it builds up enough stacks, which makes it reliable rather than reliant on a single big hit. Wavwal protects its team with a shield and gets noticeably faster at breaking enemies once its own HP drops below half, so it actually gets better the longer a tough fight drags on.

Best Support and Heal Aniimo

Support and Heal creatures keep your team alive through longer fights, and a few of them do enough extra work that they're worth running even outside of pure survival comps.

Glacy, particularly its Prismana form, heals the whole team on a short recurring timer and can still contribute single-target damage through its orb attacks. Glameep leans more defensive, with a shield and bubble mechanic that's especially useful against enemies with heavy burst damage. Gracewing stands out because its healing output actually increases the more it's used in a fight, rewarding players who keep it active rather than benching it once HP looks stable.

Best Aniimo for Beginners

Not everyone wants to chase optimal endgame picks on day one, and some of the strongest early creatures happen to be ones you can get right away.

Helion and Lunara, Aniimo's two starters, both hold up well past the tutorial thanks to solid ranged damage and utility that reduces enemy resistance. Emberpup is a scrappy early Fire pick with good mobility and bonus damage against Fire-vulnerable targets. Flutternym is the easiest early healer to run, boosting its own healing in combat and topping off the team whenever it uses a skill. Budclaw rounds things out as a beginner-friendly Break option that builds up a stacking buff the longer it's in a fight.

FAQ

What's the best DPS Aniimo right now?

Stellarys, Fulmintis, and Coraliz are the most commonly recommended picks for pure damage output.

What's the best healer in Aniimo?

Gracewing is the strongest pick for players deep into the game, while Flutternym is easier to use early on.

Which Aniimo should I use for Breaking?

Wavwal is the top endgame pick, but Budclaw works fine while you're still leveling up.

Is this tier list final?

No — Aniimo only just launched, so rankings here are based on beta testing and early community data. Expect this list to shift as balance patches roll out and more players reach endgame content.

Do Prismana and other alternate forms change an Aniimo's tier?

Yes, in several cases. Alternate forms can shift stats and kits enough to bump a creature up or down a tier from its base version, so it's worth checking which form you actually have before assuming its placement here applies.
