Arknights: Endfield Rossi build guide goes up ahead of her Version 1.1 Phase 2 release on March 29, 2026. Rossi already gives off the vibe of a character with a very specific lane in the meta, and that alone makes her one of the more talked-about names in the patch. Her kit points toward focused boss damage, layered setup, and a playstyle that gets more rewarding once the team is built around her properly.

If you’re looking at Wolf Pearl and trying to figure out how much value Rossi can really bring, this guide breaks down the parts that matter most before the banner goes live.

Overview

rossi

Rarity: 6-star   |  Class: Guard  |   Weapon: Sword  |   Element: Physical

Rossi reads like a boss-focused hybrid carry. The biggest sell is not just that she hits in two damage lanes, but that her kit seems built around turning setup into payoff: Arts Infliction becomes Vulnerability, Vulnerable targets let her Battle Skill do more, Razor Clawmark makes enemies take more Physical and Heat damage, and her crit-based follow-up talent gives her extra bite once the mark is up.

So rather than thinking of her as “another mono-Physical attacker,” it makes more sense to treat her as a more technical single-target damage dealer who wants the team to help enable her ceiling. When the setup is there, she looks explosive; when it isn’t, she probably won’t feel nearly as free as the established Physical core.

Skill Overview and Leveling Priority

Basic Attack: Seething Wolfblood

Basic Attack: Seething Wolfblood

Basic Attack – level this last. Rossi’s five-hit string is not useless—Game8 notes that the final hit restores SP—but nothing in her public kit suggests normal attack spam is where most of her value lives. It looks more like utility for keeping her loop moving than the main reason you bring her.

Battle Skill: Crimson Shadow

Battle Skill: Crimson Shadow

Battle Skill – this looks like the first button to invest in. It applies Lift, and when used on a Vulnerable target it also triggers a follow-up and applies Razor Clawmark. That mark matters a lot, because it deals damage over time and makes the target take more Physical and Heat damage, which is exactly the kind of setup Rossi’s own kit wants before she cashes out. If you’re looking for the closest thing to her “money button,” this is probably it.

Combo Skill: Moment of Blazing Shadow

Combo Skill: Moment of Blazing Shadow

Combo Skill – second priority, but very close behind. Rossi’s Combo Skill is where her hybrid identity really shows up: it only triggers when the target has both Vulnerability and Arts Infliction, and the second sequence consumes all Arts Infliction, deals more damage, applies Lift, and boosts her crit rate and crit damage. On top of that, perfect timing on SEQ2 adds another stack of Vulnerability. In other words, this is the payoff button, but only after you’ve done your homework.

Ultimate: “Razorclaw” Ambuscade

Ultimate: “Razorclaw” Ambuscade

Ultimate – premium skill, but probably third for now. Her Ultimate deals multiple hits of Heat damage, applies Heat Infliction, and gets increased critical damage on crits. It also matters because Rossi’s public kit does not show another clean self-source of Heat Infliction, which means Ultimate is a major part of how she unlocks her own combo flow when the team is not feeding her Arts Infliction from elsewhere. Still, it looks slightly more like a payoff/setup bridge than the first button I’d max.

So my current order is: Battle Skill > Combo Skill > Ultimate > Basic Attack. This order matches the current kit logic best.

 Lupine Scarlet

Lupine Scarlet

Rarity: 6✦

Type: Sword

Base ATK: TBD

TBD

This is the easiest call on paper because it is Rossi’s signature 6-star Sword and it launches with the Scarlet Pearl Issue alongside her Phase 2 banner on March 29.

Alternative

Rapid Ascent

Rapid Ascent

Rarity: 6✦

Type: Sword

Base ATK: 495

Battle Skills and Ultimates gain Physical DMG dealt +24%. Against staggered enemies, Battle Skills and Ultimates also gain DMG dealt +56%.

Among the currently documented 6-star swords, this is the cleanest premium fallback. It gives Crit Rate and directly boosts battle skills, which already makes sense for Rossi’s revealed damage profile. It doesn’t line up perfectly with every part of her hybrid kit, but it is still the most natural high-rarity substitute until live testing confirms something better.

Sundering Steel

Sundering Steel

Rarity: 5✦

Type: Sword

Base ATK: 411

Attack: +14.00%

After the wielder deals a Physical Status, ATK +21% for 20s. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 2. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.

Artzy Tyrannical gives Intellect, Crit Rate, a big Cryo DMG bonus, and more Cryo DMG after landing crits with Battle Skill or Combo Skill. That makes it a strong option if you want Tangtang to lean harder into personal damage rather than just team setup. I would especially like it in builds where Tangtang gets enough field time to keep those stacks rolling.

Swordmancer Flint

Bonekrusha Mask

Bonekrusha Mask

Swordmancer’s set effect gives Stagger Efficiency and an extra Physical hit after applying a Physical Status, and Rossi’s public kit applies Lift through both Battle Skill and Combo Skill. That makes Swordmancer the cleanest “this obviously talks to her kit” set we currently have. The off-piece Bonekrusha Mask is there because it gives strong damage against Staggered enemies, and Physical-oriented teams already lean hard into stagger pressure.

This is the same kind of practical physical starter shell you see recommended for existing Physical damage dealers: it boosts Agility and gives extra Physical damage while your account is still too young to force fancy optimized mixes. Rossi may be more technical than those characters, but she still wants a stable physical floor early on.

Best Team Comps

 Rossi

Rossi

 Wulfguard

Wulfguard

Endministrator

Endministrator

Gilberta

Gilberta

This is the cleaner all-around setup if you want Rossi’s hybrid kit to feel properly enabled. Rossi’s public kit revolves around converting Arts Infliction into Vulnerability, while Wulfgard already plays well around Arts Infliction and Combustion states, so the two naturally point in the same direction. Gilberta rounds the team out with strong Arts Susceptibility and crowd-control utility, which helps create cleaner burst windows instead of forcing messy rotations. Once the setup is in place, Endministrator gives the comp a real payoff button by consuming Vulnerability stacks for heavy burst damage.

 Rossi

Rossi

Wulfguard

Wulfguard

Endministrator

Endministrator

Akekuri

Akekuri

This version leans more into rotation support and smoother skill flow. Wulfgard still helps cover the hybrid side of Rossi’s setup, while Akekuri brings SP recovery utility and can contribute Heat Infliction, giving the team a more comfortable rhythm when you’re trying to cycle key skills on time. Endministrator still acts as the main finisher here, cashing out the Vulnerability stacks that Rossi helps create. Compared to the Gilberta team, this one gives up some debuff and control value, but it can feel more stable if you prefer a lineup with better resource flow.

Conclusion

Rossi has the kind of kit that can leave a strong impression once the right team pieces are in place. Her playstyle offers clear payoff, stronger pressure in focused fights, and plenty of room for players who enjoy more deliberate setups instead of pure autopilot damage. That gives her a solid identity going into Version 1.1 Phase 2, and she already looks like a banner that can win over players who enjoy sharper, more specialized carries.
