Yvonne is a high-DPS Cryo ranged unit built around constant pressure and freeze control.

Her playstyle centers on rapid attacks that layer Cryo application, allowing her to trigger freezes often and boost damage during her ultimate. She shines when allowed extended time on the field, since her damage ramps up the longer she can keep firing. Optimal builds emphasize attack speed, Cryo damage bonuses, and strong ultimate uptime to keep enemies locked down. Although she doesn’t deliver the explosive burst of some melee Cryo characters, Yvonne makes up for it with reliable damage, strong safety, and top-tier crowd control. She’s an ideal fit for Cryo comps that prioritize sustained damage and control rather than quick burst rotations.

Strong sustained DPS: Her multi-hit basic attacks and enhanced final strikes allow for stable, continuous Cryo damage, especially during her Ultimate. Excellent crowd control: Solidification, freezing effects, and pull mechanics give her strong battlefield control and AoE presence. Smooth Ultimate uptime: Both her Battle Skill and Combo Skill generate extra Ultimate Energy, enabling frequent Ultimate usage and strong damage scaling through CRIT buffs.

Field-time reliant: She requires extended, uninterrupted on-field time to reach peak performance, which can be restrictive in fast-paced encounters. Limited burst damage: Compared to melee Cryo units, her instant burst potential is lower and more ramp-up dependent. Mechanic-dependent: Much of her damage and energy generation relies on properly triggering Solidification and stack consumption, increasing execution and team-building demands.

 

Yvonne Skills

Basic Attack: Exuberant Trigger

• BASIC ATTACK: An attack with up to 5 sequences that deals Cryo DMG. As the controlled operator, Final Strike also deals 17 Stagger.
• DIVE ATTACK: Basic attack performed in mid- air becomes a dive attack that deals Cryo DMG to nearby enemies.
• FINISHER: Basic attack performed near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher that deals massive Cryo DMG and recovers some SP.

 

Battle Skill: Brr-Brr-Bomb ß

Throws a freezing bomb. The bomb explodes when it hits the enemy to deal Cryo DMG. If hitting an enemy with Cryo Infliction or Nature Infliction, then consume all Arts Infliction stacks, forcibly apply Solidification, and deal Cryo DMG to the target based on the number of stacks consumed.

After the battle skill successfully applies Solidification, Yvonne gains additional Ultimate Energy based on the number of stacks consumed. This Ultimate Energy Gain effect can only trigger 1 time, even if the skill hits multiple enemies.

 

Combo Skill: Flashfreezer u37

When the controlled operator performs a Final Strike on an enemy with Solidification.

Immediately deploys Frost-e-Bytee next to the enemy.

While active, Frost-e-Bytee constantly releases energy to attack nearby enemies, deals Cryo DMG to them, and pulls them towards itself. After Frost-e-Bytee expires, it explodes to forcibly apply Solidification and deal Cryo DMG to nearby enemies.

After the combo skill successfully hits the enemy, Yvonne gains additional Ultimate Energy. This Ultimate Energy Gain effect can only trigger 1 time, even if the skill hits multiple enemies.

 

Ultimate: Cryoblasting Pistolier

Immediately deploys the support bot Tink-a-Bella and makes Yvonne the controlled operator.

Temporarily enhances Yvonne’s basic attack (BATK). Each BATK sequence performed grants a stack of Critical Rate buff. After reaching max stacks, Yvonne also gains a Critical DMG buff. When the skill is about to end, Yvonne’s last BATK becomes a Final Strike that deals massive Cryo DMG.

If the enemy is Solidified, Yvonne performs an additional attack that deals Cryo DMG and then consumes the enemy’s Solidification.

This weapon suits Yvonne perfectly because her kit consistently triggers critical hits through frequent Battle Skill and Combo Skill usage, especially when Solidification conditions are met. The base Cryo DMG bonus directly boosts all of her attacks, while the stacking Cryo DMG buff aligns with her sustained, high-hit playstyle. Since Yvonne stays on field for extended periods, she can easily maintain full stacks, significantly amplifying her overall Cryo damage throughout long combat windows.

	Critical Rate +3.5%. When Solidification or Corrosion is applied to enemies, the wielder gains Cryo DMG Dealt and Nature DMG Dealt +3.5%, and Critical Rate +2.0% for 15s. If this effect is triggered by the wielder, double the increase gained. Effects of the same name cannot stack.

Wedge and Navigator are good options as alternative.

Wedge fits Yvonne well because her battle skill is used frequently and is designed to trigger Arts Reactions through Cryo application and stack consumption. This allows her to reliably activate both damage buffs, enhancing her sustained Cryo damage during continuous combat.

Navigator also synergizes directly with Yvonne’s Solidification-focused kit. Since she applies Solidification consistently, she can easily trigger the doubled bonus, gaining extra Cryo damage and Critical Rate, which further boosts her long-duration DPS and overall consistency.

Yvonne’s Battle Skill scales both its damage and Ultimate Energy recovery based on the number of Cryo Infliction stacks consumed, making proper stack generation essential. In this team, Xaihi and Estella handle Cryo stacking to maximize Yvonne’s output.

• Yvonne can apply Solidification twice through her Battle Skill and Combo Skill, and each serving a different purpose. The Combo Skill Solidification is used to trigger her Talent and significantly boost her Ultimate damage, while the Battle Skill Solidification is reserved for Estella to trigger Shatter.
• Meanwhile, Vulnerability stacks from Estella further amplify the Arts Susceptibility effect of Gilberta’s Ultimate.
• With Gilberta providing grouping, the team excels at AoE burst and add-clear, though its single-target performance is less comfortable than variants using Ardelia.

Estella can be replaced with Alesh on this team.

 

Yvonne F2P Team

In this team, compared to the top-tier comp, the 6-star operator Gilberta is replaced by the more accessible 4-star operator Akekuri, who provides skill energy regeneration for the team. Xaihi can also be substituted with Snowshine, but Xaihi offers a significantly greater damage boost to the overall team output.

 

Conclusion

Overall, Yvonne serves as a strong main DPS in Cryo teams, offering solid Cryo application and consistent damage output, with her Ultimate delivering an impressive total damage ceiling. However, it is important to note that triggering her Ultimate requires extended on-field uptime, and her Battle Skill is susceptible to interruption.
