Closure joined the Global roster on October 14, 2026. Rhodes Island's chief engineer has finally stepped out of the Store and onto the battlefield, bringing DP refunds, a lower DP limit, and support for the front line. Use S2 to get your squad deployed quickly, or switch to S3 for damage and crowd control. For once, the shopkeeper is helping with your budget.
Closure Overview

Closure is a 6-star Tactician Vanguard deployed on ranged tiles. Allies inside her Tactical Point's effect range count as her Reinforcements, allowing them to benefit from the relevant skill and Module effects. Attacking enemies blocked by those Reinforcements also activates her branch trait's ATK multiplier.
Her two main skills serve different purposes. S2 refunds DP spent on deployments and gives Reinforcements extra DEF and Block, helping the squad establish its formation. S3 uses her Reinforcements' normal attack ranges to extend her coverage, delivering Physical damage and applying Sluggish. Her squad-wide DP borrowing mechanic adds further flexibility to opening deployments and later rotations.
She fits squads that need to deploy several key Operators quickly, as well as teams that want their Vanguard to keep contributing after the opening. Tactical Point placement and deployment timing make a real difference: plan where your allies will stand before committing to a formation.

Closure's Trait, Talents, and Skills
Skill values below are shown at Mastery 3 (M3). Talent values are at Elite 2 before Potential bonuses; Module upgrades are listed separately.
Branch Trait: Tactician
Designate one Tactical Point within Closure's attack range to summon Reinforcements. Her ATK is multiplied by 1.5 when attacking enemies blocked by her Reinforcements.
The trait raises her ATK to 150% of its usual value for those attacks; it does not add a separate 150% ATK bonus.
The Command Center does not make normal attacks. It has 2 Block, costs 0 DP to deploy, and does not use a deployment slot. It disappears when Closure leaves the field.
Talent 1: Precision Deployment
- Summons a Command Center at the Tactical Point to assist in combat.
- The Command Center automatically respawns 15 seconds after being defeated.
- The Tactical Point's effect range depends on Closure's equipped skill.
- Friendly units within that range count as Closure's Reinforcements.
This Reinforcement designation applies to eligible allied Operators and summons within the Tactical Point's effect range. Her support is therefore not limited to the Command Center itself.
Talent 2: Scheduler, Max Settings!
Unlocked at Elite 2:
- While Closure is in the squad, the DP lower limit is reduced by 3.
- Rhodes Island Operators gain +4% ATK.
Potential 3 lowers the DP limit by 1 more. Her TAC-X Module provides further upgrades to this talent.
A lower DP limit lets you borrow DP to complete a deployment; it does not immediately generate extra DP. Natural DP recovery is reduced by 50% while your DP is negative, so use skill-generated DP to bring the balance back above zero.
S1: Recursive Tactics

Auto Recovery / Auto Trigger.
Effects at M3:
- On activation, grants each of her Reinforcements one shield. These shields do not stack.
- Generates DP gradually during the skill, starting from a base amount of 3 DP per activation.
- Each use during the current deployment increases the DP generated by subsequent uses by 1, up to 7 DP per activation.
Each shield blocks a damage instance rather than adding a fixed amount of HP. The DP output ramps up over repeated activations, and that ramp-up resets when Closure is redeployed.
S2: Model Expansion

Auto Recovery / Manual Trigger.
Effects at M3:
- Grants 10 DP on activation, then generates another 15 DP over the skill's duration.
- Her Reinforcements gain +60% DEF and +1 Block.
- Closure gains +80% ATK, attacks two targets at once, and can attack enemies blocked by her Reinforcements.
- Operators deployed within the Tactical Point's effect range during the skill refund 40% of their deployment cost.
At M3, the first activation takes approximately 6 seconds without initial-SP bonuses or changes to SP recovery. The skill itself generates 25 DP in total; deployment refunds are additional.
Refunds round up. For example, deploying an Operator whose current deployment cost is 22 DP refunds 9 DP. You still need enough available DP, including any permitted borrowing, to complete the deployment first; the refund does not change the displayed deployment cost to 13 DP.
S3: Q.E.D.

Auto Recovery / Manual Trigger.
Effects at M3:
- Generates 18 DP over the skill's duration.
- Reduces her attack interval by 0.5 seconds.
- Targets enemies within her own or her Reinforcements' normal attack ranges, dealing Physical damage equal to 250% of Closure's ATK.
- Each attack applies 6% Sluggish for 3 seconds. The effect stacks up to 60%.
- Every 9 attacks increases her target count by 1, up to six increases and a maximum of seven simultaneous targets.
S3 extends Closure's own coverage. Its damage uses her ATK, not the ATK of the ally supplying the range, and it does not simply copy every range extension from allied skills.
Sluggish affects movement and attacks, as well as the timing of certain enemy abilities and statuses. Closure's own applications stack and refresh the duration. The 60% figure is the cap, which must be built up through repeated hits; it is not applied immediately when S3 activates.
Skill Mastery Priority and Gameplay Tips
S2: First M3 for Faster Squad Setup
S2 suits formations that need their main DPS, blockers, and healing support deployed quickly. Plan the Tactical Point's coverage first, activate the skill, then deploy your key Operators inside it so each refund helps fund the next deployment.
Activate it before the main deployment sequence. Waiting until everyone is already in position leaves much of its refund potential unused, even though you still receive the direct DP generation and combat bonuses.
The extra Block helps prevent early leaks, while Closure assists against enemies held by her Reinforcements. The DEF bonus depends on the receiving unit's existing DEF, so its defensive value varies between Operators; it is not a universal damage-reduction effect.
S3: Damage and Control After the Opening
Choose S3 when you want Closure to stay on the field and contribute damage and control across multiple lanes.
Check which lanes each Reinforcement's normal attack range covers. Spreading useful coverage across several approaches can get more out of the skill than having every ally cover the same small area.
S3 deals Physical damage, so ATK buffs or DEF reduction can help against heavily armored targets. Sluggish reduces enemy pressure and gives your blockers and healers more time to work.
S1: Automatic DP and Recurring Shields
S1 is an option for long deployments, AFK setups, or strategies that use shields to absorb specific hits. It periodically refreshes shields on Reinforcements while generating DP without manual activation.
With limited materials, finish the S2 or S3 upgrades you will actually use first. Invest in S1 Mastery once you have a regular use for its automatic shield cycle.
Module Recommendation: Little Trophy for Herself

Module Level |
Main Effect |
Investment Advice |
|---|---|---|
|
Level 1 |
Reinforcements take 15% less damage from enemies they are blocking |
A useful first unlock if you regularly field her |
|
Level 2 |
DP lower limit reduced by 4; Rhodes Island Operators gain +6% ATK |
An intermediate upgrade if needed |
|
Level 3 |
DP lower limit reduced by 5; Rhodes Island Operators gain +8% ATK |
Consider for frequent use and stronger squad support |
The Level 1 reduction only applies to damage from enemies that the affected Reinforcement is blocking. Standing inside the Tactical Point's effect range does not grant 15% damage reduction against every source.
Levels 2 and 3 replace the corresponding Talent 2 values rather than adding another copy of the bonus. Potential 3 lowers the DP limit by 1 more, reaching -6 with the Level 3 Module. The ATK bonus follows the game's Rhodes Island faction classification.
Closure Team Comps and Operator Synergies
General Opening: S2 + Main DPS + Blocking and Healing Support
This is her most straightforward setup. Deploy Closure and the Tactical Point, activate S2, and place your key Operators inside the refund area before filling out the remaining lanes.
More expensive Operators produce larger individual refunds, but positioning still comes first. Saving DP is little help if your main DPS ends up unable to reach the enemies that matter.
Sustained Laneholding: Haruka S2 + Zima the Raging Tide S2 / Ulpianus S2
Haruka supplies healing and bubbles with Shelter, while Zima the Raging Tide or Ulpianus serves as the laneholder. Keep the blocker inside the Tactical Point's effect range to benefit from Closure's Module reduction against enemies they block.
Haruka's S2 increases her healing target count and the number of targets affected by her bubble talent. From its second activation onward, it has unlimited duration, making it suitable for a sustained formation.
Closure's S2 helps establish the formation sooner, while S3 adds damage and Sluggish once the defense is in place. Shelter, Module damage reduction, and each Operator's own survival tools have separate conditions; do not add their percentages together as a single damage-reduction value.
Deployment Refunds: Bagpipe and Texas the Omertosa
S2 can be combined with retreat refunds to reduce the cost of repeated deployments.
Bagpipe needs the Module that refunds her current deployment's full DP cost on retreat. As a hypothetical example, a deployment costing 20 DP receives 8 DP back from Closure, then returns the full 20 DP when Bagpipe retreats. That leaves a net gain of 8 DP from the refund interaction.
Texas the Omertosa can use her X Module to refund 80% of her current deployment cost on retreat. Combining that with Closure's deployment refund helps offset the cost of repeated drops.
Time these interactions around S2's active window, redeployment cooldowns, and valid placement tiles. You still need sufficient DP to make the initial deployment.
High-Cost Delivery: Exusiai the New Covenant S3 + Mudrock
Exusiai the New Covenant's S3 can deliver an Operator without spending DP, but the delivered Operator retains a deployment-cost value. Delivering Mudrock inside Closure's active S2 refund area can therefore trigger the refund. Retreating her afterward can also return DP under the normal applicable rules.
Check the delivery tile, available deployment slots, and skill timing. Delivering a high-cost Operator can generate substantial refunds, but make sure someone can cover the lane when your main blocker leaves the field.

E2 / Trading Post |
Order acquisition efficiency +10%; produces Closure's Special Orders, which do not count as Defaulted trades |
Each Closure's Special Order trades 2 Pure Gold for 1,200 LMD and has a base acquisition time of 2 hours 24 minutes. Teammates' order acquisition bonuses can shorten that time as usual.
Fast Orders Need Enough Storage
Closure consistently produces small special orders with a shorter base acquisition time than ordinary orders requiring 3 or 4 Pure Gold. With strong efficiency bonuses, completed orders accumulate quickly. Trading Post storage is measured in the number of orders, so leaving them uncollected for too long fills the queue and stops further acquisition.
Alongside acquisition speed, consider teammates who increase the order limit. Extra capacity does not increase the value of each order, but it provides more room while you are offline and reduces time lost to a full queue.

Vigil and Bellone both qualify as Siracusa Operators, so Umiri adds a combined 10% acquisition efficiency to this Trading Post. With the conditions above fulfilled, the listed skill bonuses total +100%, excluding the facility's own bonuses, staffing, and any other external support.
This team combines acquisition speed with extra storage. Bellone's Outstanding Debt adds 2 to the order limit when he shares a Trading Post with Vigil and reduces his own hourly Morale consumption by 0.1, making the pair convenient for a regular shift.

At E2: Kjerag Operators in Trading Posts receive -15% acquisition efficiency and +6 order limit each |
Use the original SilverAsh here, not SilverAsh the Reignfrost. From the Control Center, Gnosis increases this Trading Post's capacity through SilverAsh's Kjerag affiliation. The accompanying efficiency penalty is part of the interaction that makes the increased order capacity work with Jaye's skills.
Use Jaye at E1 or above for this version of the team. His Basic Needs skill reduces the order limit according to the acquisition efficiency supplied by other Operators, and interacts with Street Economics. SilverAsh's +4 and Gnosis's +6 therefore cannot simply be treated as the final net capacity increase.
Rather than stacking acquisition speed alone, this setup uses extra capacity and Jaye's conversion mechanics to support Closure's frequent small orders. The result depends on Jaye's promotion stage, so do not mix an E0 Jaye calculation with this promoted-Jaye setup.
Final Thoughts
Closure's S2 accelerates deployment, while S3 keeps her useful through damage and control. Back at the base, her Special Orders provide a steady source of LMD. Prioritize the skills you use, plan the Tactical Point carefully, and give her Trading Post enough order capacity to keep working between collections.
