The Thousand-Year Blood War collaboration has thrown Bleach: Soul Resonance into a strange spot. We've had a new typing introduced, a delayed banner, and a lot of uncertainty about what comes next. But if you're trying to plan your pulls, LDShop provides a breakdown of the current state, what's likely coming, and how to prepare without wasting resources.
Current Banner
As of late August, the game is in a transition period. Mayuri's rerun is ending soon, and the TYBW second character, Bambietta Basterbine, has been released on 12th Aug .
The immediate next character is expected to be Uryu Ishida. Uryu is confirmed to be a Finesse Tactic unit, the first Tactic of the brand-new Finesse typing. This is a big deal because Finesse was just introduced with the TYBW collab, and so far only a handful of characters use it.

Known Upcoming Banners
The following is a mix of official confirmations, datamined leaks, and educated guesses from community insiders. Nothing here is set in stone, but it gives a general idea of what to expect over the next several months.

Detailed Breakdown of Key Future Units
Candice Catnipp
Candice is expected to be the dedicated Finesse support to pair with Uryu and the eventual Finesse DPS. Like Uryu, there's hope she will be usable outside of Finesse teams, possibly as a universal support. If she follows the pattern of Zylaporro, she may be strong but limited to one typing, so her universal value is uncertain.

Orihime Inoue
Orihime was mentioned by name in a developer note, and the same note confirmed a Strike support is coming. Putting two and two together, Orihime is almost certainly that Strike support. This is huge for Strike teams, which have been under-supported since launch.
Retsu Unohana
Unohana is the pre-TYBW version, and her role is expected to be a Slash support with possible healing. Slash has been waiting for a dedicated support longer than Strike, so this is a high-priority unit for Slash mains.
Vasto Lorde Ichigo
Most players expect him to headline the 1st anniversary, which would likely be in December. His typing is not confirmed, but the community heavily leans toward Strike, given his brutal, in-your-face fighting style in that form. However, True Shikai Ichigo was Thrust despite using slashes, so the devs are willing to break expectations.

Shunsui Kyoraku
Dataminers found Shunsui in the game files. He is expected to be a Tactic unit, but his attack type is uncertain , likely Slash or Thrust. The most common guess is Slash/Tactic, since Slash hasn't had a Tactic in a long time. He could release as early as 2027.

Final Thoughts
The next few months are going to be chaotic. Bambietta's delay has already messed with the schedule, and the new Finesse typing means old predictions are out the window. The safest strategy is to identify which team archetype you enjoy most and save specifically for its missing pieces.
If you're unsure, the best move right now is to hoard resources. Anniversary season is coming, and anniversary character will almost certainly be worth the wait.
