Brawl Stars' Windstock season goes live on August 6, 2026, closing out the second half of the Ramen Rebellion story arc that opened with NanoNoodles in June. The wind-and-renewables theme runs through everything this season touches, from the new Brawl Pass skin line to a brand-new map environment, and it's paired with a full rework of how in-match power-ups work. This guide covers what's actually worth knowing about the season itself: the skins, the Pass, the new environment, and the systems changing underneath it.

Windstock Season Dates
Windstock runs from August 6 to September 3, 2026, closing out the second half of the Ramen Rebellion arc before the next update begins. That gives it the standard four-week season window Brawl Stars has used for its last few cycles, so there's no extended runway this time around.

The Brawl Pass carries two skins this season. Biotech Byron leads the free/premium track with two chroma variants, Unearthed Byron and Leaf Master Byron, while Retrofuture Rosa gets the same treatment with Renewables Rosa and Sci-Fi Rosa as its chromas. Both fit the season's wind-and-eco theme rather than being pulled from an unrelated collection.
Outside the Pass, the Gem shop lineup includes Grizzled Kenji and Energized Sprout at 199 Gems each, Turbine Moe also at 199 Gems, and Windstock Gray as the season's Legendary skin at 299 Gems. If you're planning Gem spend for the season, Windstock Gray is the one to budget for early since Legendary skins tend to be the first to sell out of any limited-time pricing.
Fusions and Smoothie Drops: the power-up system, rebuilt

The season's real mechanical shift is how power-ups work. NanoDrops from the first half of the arc are replaced by Smoothie Drops, earned through Daily Wins, Mega Quests, Topple the Tower runs, Side Quests, and Creator QR codes. Each Smoothie Drop gives 3 picks from a set of 5 cups, and each cup holds 0 to 3 Gulps, the resource behind unlocking Fusions.
Fusions themselves span 106 entries across four rarities, Baseline, Augmented, Cybernetic, and Quantum, and each one unlocks 3 unique Powers per brawler. The difference from the old system is that you no longer choose which Power applies in a match. When the Fusion modifier is active, the game randomly merges 2 of your 3 unlocked Powers together and you get both at once. Any brawler that already had a NanoPower has it replaced once their Fusion unlocks. Collecting 140 Smoothie Drops across the season also unlocks free rewards, including parts of the Mecha Meg skin.
Topple the Tower and new game modes
Topple the Tower is the season's new PvE event: a 5-floor climb where each floor runs a different pre-set map and mode. You need at least 8 brawlers unlocked, roughly 325 trophies, to join, and everything in the curated pool is maxed out including Buffies, so the challenge is about the matchups rather than your account's build level. Win a floor and that brawler locks in as you advance; lose one and you retry with a different brawler from the pool. Team play is supported, there's one attempt per day, and a perfect run through all 5 floors earns a unique "Unbeatable" title.
Two cooking-themed modes also launch this update: Combat Cooking, a 3-player PvE mode built around filling orders while fending off guard bots, and Food Fight, its 3v3 PvP counterpart where both teams race the same recipe list. A separate mode, Mecha Guard, has players charge a battery to summon Meg's Mecha for a boss fight at the end.

Balance changes worth knowing
The patch touches a long list of brawlers, but a few stand out. Piper, Mandy, and Starr Nova all get power upgrades after falling behind in their respective classes, while Mortis, Colette, and Bolt get pulled back after dominating recent metas. There are dozens of smaller tweaks beyond these across throwers, tanks, and Ranked-only scaling, but these are the ones most likely to shift what you see in draft this season.
Wendy joins the roster

Windstock also brings the 106th brawler, Wendy, a Mythic support built around the lowest health in the game traded for the strongest team-wide shield. She's unlockable for free through her Release Event. For her full kit breakdown, best pairings, and how to unlock her efficiently, check our dedicated Wendy build guide.
FAQ
What are the Windstock Brawl Pass skins?
Biotech Byron and Retrofuture Rosa, each with two chroma variants unlocked through Pass progression.
What's the Legendary skin this season?
Windstock Gray, priced at 299 Gems in the shop.
Do NanoPowers still work in Windstock?
Yes, until a brawler's Fusion unlocks. At that point the Fusion replaces the NanoPower since it's the stronger version of the same system.
How is Topple the Tower different from a normal event?
It's PvE progression through 5 pre-set floors rather than open matchmaking, with all brawlers in the pool maxed out so the challenge comes from the mode and matchup, not your account level.
Is Wendy worth grinding for immediately?
She's free during her Release Event, so it's worth prioritizing early even if you're not sure you'll play her long-term, since the event boxes also drop general currency.
Windstock's Brawl Pass and Gem shop skins add up fast if you're chasing more than one this season, so if you'd rather stock up on Gems ahead of time, LDShop carries Brawl Stars top-ups for exactly that kind of planning.
