Hello everyone! Today, LDShop provides a quick guide to help you choose the best 5-star partner in Chaos Zero Nightmare. If you’ve purchased the Arkhianon Supply Pack, you’ll unlock a Recruitment Contract-Partner at level 30, allowing you to select one of six partners.
Since a partner’s effects only activate when matched with a character of the same class, your choice should depend on your main character’s class. In this guide, we’ll compare all six partners and highlight which ones are the best fit for each class.

Algorithm Tip
It’s important to note that when describing partner effects, “Damage +15%” and “Damage increased by 15%” are not the same.
The former is additive, while the latter is multiplicative. For example:
- Damage 120% +15%: 120%+15%=135%
- Damage 120% increase 15%: 120%*(1+15%) =138%
Priscilla

|
Recommended Class |
Striker |
|
Type |
DPS |
|
Ego Skill |
Deals 250% damage Apply Weakness Attack to 1 assigned combatant's random Attack card in hand |
|
Buffs |
HP and Damage +8% |
Analysis:
- Priscilla is tailored for fast-paced, aggressive Striker builds. Her finisher mechanic makes her especially lethal against low-HP enemies, excelling in burst-oriented setups. Additionally, her passive ability scales well in multi-wave battles, allowing her to maintain offensive momentum.
- Her ultimate itself is typical. It costs 2 EP, dealing 250% single-target damage, and adds a Weakness Attack effect to one random attack card. However, the randomness limits control, so it’s best used when only your intended attack card remains in hand.
- Her buffs are decent overall. Among the current Striker characters, Haru, Rin, Mei Lin, and Owen, she works best with Mei Lin, followed by Rin. While Haru can also pair with her, the current rate-up partners synergize better with Haru’s playstyle.
- If Mei Lin is your main DPS and you want to push her damage ceiling further, Priscilla is a decent choice as Mei Lin excels at triggering Passion Weakness on hit, so she can benefit from Priscilla’s damage bonus more consistently.
- That said, Priscilla’s HP bonus contributes little in actual combat. In Chaos Zero Nightmare, most losses stem from poor pressure management, failure to handle boss mechanics, or weak deck/team synergy rather than from lacking HP. Priscilla’s conditional +25% damage effect is too narrow in scope and falls short compared to other 5-star partners.
Eishlen

|
Recommended Class |
Vanguard |
|
Type |
Defensive |
|
Skill |
Grants a shield equal to 100% of HP Retains 50% of the shield at the end of the turn |
|
Buffs |
HP and Shield gain +8% |
Analysis:
- Eishlen is a genius who transcended her own weakness and fragility through relentless ambition, determination, and intellect. By obtaining a forbidden grimoire, she gained control over the power of an unknown entity. Though her power comes with great risks and her temperament can be volatile, she remains an indispensable figure, both feared and respected.
- Her EP skill costs 4 points, which is quite steep considering its moderate effect. Among the current Vanguard characters, Khalipe, Magna, Amir, and Maribell, only Magna and Maribell can reliably trigger the Counterattack, making Eishlen most compatible with Magna. If Magna is your primary frontline carry, Eishlen becomes a viable and synergistic partner choice.
- Other partners tend to be more specialized with some enhancing offensive burst, others boosting reaction mechanics, whereas Eishlen’s strength lies squarely in counterattack-oriented builds. If you don’t own Khalipe, Eishlen serves as a solid alternative.
- Best suited for counter-based Vanguard setups, especially Magna. For other characters, her high EP cost and narrow synergy make her a situational rather than universal choice.
Solia

|
Recommended Class |
Ranger |
|
Type |
Offense |
|
Ego skill |
Deals 250% single-target damage Mark +1 |
|
Buffs |
+20% Extra Attack Damage of the assigned combatant. |
Analysis:
- Solia, a trailblazer from the ancient Ark Ceres civilization, wields power that rivals even the greatest beings of Sileyma. Though her carefree and eccentric nature often makes her seem aloof or unpredictable, she is not truly distant, she simply expresses kindness in unconventional ways, guided by her own understanding of empathy.
- The current Ranger-class characters are Veronica, Hugo, Beryl, and Selena. Among them, the ones who can consistently draw and cycle cards while triggering additional attacks are mainly Hugo and Veronica.
- However, Veronica’s limitation is that she typically performs only one extra attack per turn, whereas Hugo can trigger extra attacks much more frequently. This makes Solia a better fit for Hugo. If Hugo serves as your team’s main DPS, choosing Solia can significantly enhance his sustained offensive rhythm.
- Her EP skill is decent but unremarkable, costing 3 EP for 250% single-target damage and applying Mark +1. If the mark could affect all enemies instead of a single target, it would greatly improve her overall utility.
- A situationally useful partner, best paired with Hugo for extra-attack-based Ranger builds. Outside of that niche, her bonuses and skill efficiency are too average compared to stronger offensive 5-star options.
Serithea

|
Recommended Class |
Hunter |
|
Type |
Offensive |
|
Ego Skill |
Deals 250% single-target damage 2 Vulnerable |
|
Buffs |
Increases Attack Card Critical Chance by 8%. |
Analysis:
- Serithea embodies the arrogant grace typical of the Sileyma, though to others, her attitude feels more like charming bravado than true arrogance. Beneath her confident exterior lies a deep-seated need for affection, she compensates for her fragile self-esteem by crafting a lovable, dazzling persona to conceal her insecurities.
- In battle, Serithea excels at enhancing both Critical Rate and Critical Damage, making her best suited for Luke, whose entire kit naturally scales with high crit potential and AoE damage.
- For the female protagonist, Serithea’s value only emerges once her crit rate is sufficiently stacked through Memory Fragment affixes, since unlike Luke, she lacks innate crit bonuses within her skillset.
- Her EP skill is particularly strong, by applying two stacks of Vulnerable, it opens a high impact burst window, allowing the team to capitalize on amplified damage if timed properly.
- That said, without a solid crit foundation, Serithea’s performance may feel underwhelming in early or low-crit setups.
- Highly recommended for Luke or crit-focused Hunter builds. If you’re a Luke main, especially fans of the “mysterious hooded man”, Serithea is an excellent pick. Otherwise, her full potential only truly shines once your critical stats are well developed.
Anteia

|
Recommended Class |
Psionic |
|
Type |
Damage/Card Generation |
|
Ego Skill |
Deals 180% damage to all enemies. Grants 1 stack of Vulnerable. |
|
Buffs |
Increases HP and Damage by 8% |
Analysis:
- Anteia, a prodigy from the Logos family, is famed even among the Sileyma for her exceptional mastery of logic and calculation. Guided entirely by reason rather than emotion, she often behaves and speaks in ways that ordinary people find difficult to comprehend, the price of genius expressed through cold precision.
- Anteia’s strength lies in card generation synergy. Her passive directly rewards characters who can frequently generate cards, granting them short-term but repeatable damage boosts.
- Currently, the Psionic characters in the game are Tressa and Kayron. Among them, Tressa benefits the most as she generates many cards through her Shadow Daggers mechanics, which allows her to trigger Anteia’s damage buff almost every turn.
- Her 8% HP and Damage bonus provides a small but welcome durability boost, while the Attack Card Damage increase synergizes well with fast-cycling decks.
- Her Ego Skill costs only 2 EP, deals 180% AoE damage, and applies one stack of Vulnerability to all enemies. Its low cost and solid output make it a flexible choice for both burst and sustain turns.
- Unlike some partners who focus on team-wide buffs, Anthea excels in amplifying high-frequency DPS characters like Teresa or Rein, improving both their damage consistency and single-turn burst potential.
- Strongly Recommended for Teresa users. If your main DPS is Teresa or Kayron, Anteia is one of the best choices among 5-star partners. Her constant card-generation synergy and steady attack boost make her an excellent offensive support for Psionic builds.

Nyx

|
Recommended Class |
Controller |
|
Type |
Support |
|
Ego Skill |
Discard up to 3 cards, then draw +1 cards equal to the number discarded |
|
Buffs |
The assigned combatant's HP and healing are increased by 8%. When the assigned combatant Draws for the first time each turn using an ability, +8% Damage dealt by allies for 1. |
Analysis:
- As a five-star support partner, Nyx excels in both healing and team-wide damage amplification, making her a highly versatile choice across multiple builds. She’s especially effective for Controller characters like Mika and Orlea, who thrive on sustained healing and supportive playstyles.
- Her EP skill stands out for its strength and utility, restoring 40% HP to all allies and granting regeneration, offering powerful sustain during long or high-difficulty encounters. It also doubles as a deck cleanser, removing negative or debuff cards that bosses may add, greatly improving deck efficiency and consistency.
- Nyx’s passive ability further boosts teamwide damage by 10% after any skill card is cast, allowing her to seamlessly blend healing and offense support — a combination few other partners can provide.
- While her EP cost of 4 may feel a bit steep, it’s a small trade-off for the immense value she brings. Thanks to her broad synergy and flexibility, Nyx fits well into nearly any team and retains her usefulness even as new healers and supports are introduced.
- With powerful healing, deck cleansing, and a consistent team damage buff, Nyx is the most well-rounded and future-proof five-star partner currently available.
Conclusion
Overall, among the current options, the most worthwhile partners to redeem are Anteia, Solia, and Nyx, corresponding to the Vanguard, Ranger, and Controller classes respectively. Otherwise, it’s better to hold off on redeeming anyone for now and conserve your resources, waiting for upcoming releases that may better fit your team composition. At this stage, focus instead on building a temporary gear set regardless of elemental affinity to strengthen your foundation efficiently.
