Welcome back, Chiefs! If you've been keeping an eye on your Village lately, you might have noticed things are getting a little… rowdy. That's right—the Friend or Foe Medal Event is officially here, and it's turning our beloved Army Camps into all-out fighting rings!
Running from April 8th to April 29th, this event brings a fresh twist to Clash of Clans, complete with WWE Superstars causing chaos, brand-new temporary troops, and one of the most exciting Epic Hero Equipment releases we've seen in a while: the Action Figure for the Archer Queen.
In this guide, we'll break down everything you need to know about the April Medal Event—from the new equipment stats and strategies to the full list of decorations and rewards waiting for you. Let's dive in!

What Is the Friend or Foe Medal Event?
Before we get into the rewards, let's talk about what makes this event unique. The Friend or Foe event (available for Town Hall 6 and above) introduces a dynamic twist to both offense and defense.

Here's how it works: WWE Superstars have set up shop in your Village, converting your Army Camps into fighting rings. But not all of them are on your side!
- Red-ring Superstars are your friends. They'll defend your Village when you're attacked—but watch out, because they won't help you when you're attacking someone else.
- Blue-ring Superstars are the troublemakers. They'll actually help the enemy when your Village is under attack, but they'll lend you a hand when you're on offense.
It's a fun risk-reward system that keeps you on your toes. And don't worry—once the season ends, these Superstars pack up and leave, and your Army Camps return to normal.
Temporary Superstar Troops

If you can't beat 'em, recruit 'em! The event introduces three temporary Superstar Troops that you can unlock and deploy during battles. These units bring unique mechanics to the battlefield, so they're worth experimenting with while they're available.

YEETer |
Town Hall 3+ |
Throws anything and everything, including his loyal Tribal Tag Team! |
|
The Disarmer |
Town Hall 6+ |

|
K.A.N.E |
Town Hall 6+ |
Charges straight for the Town Hall, crushing anything in his path. Resurrects with a fiery aura when defeated! |
These troops add a fresh layer of strategy to your attacks. K.A.N.E., in particular, is a game-changer for Town Hall sniping strategies, while The Disarmer's multi-life mechanic makes her incredibly durable against single-target defenses.
New Epic Hero Equipment: The Action Figure (Archer Queen)

Now, let's talk about the star of the show. The Action Figure is the new Epic Hero Equipment debuting in this Medal Event, and it's designed specifically for the Archer Queen.
You can grab it from the Trader Shop for 3,100 Champion Medals—so start saving those event tickets!
Active Ability: Summon the Giant Giant
When activated, the Action Figure spawns a Giant Giant directly in front of the Archer Queen and grants her 1 second of invisibility. This allows the summoned tank to absorb incoming fire while the Queen stays safe and dishes out damage from behind .
The Giant Giant's level scales with the equipment's level. At max level, it reaches Level 10, boasting a massive 18,500 hit points. That's some serious tanking power!
Passive Stats
Upgrading the Action Figure also provides passive bonuses to the Archer Queen herself:
- Self-heal per second: Up to 40 at max level (actually outperforms the Healer Puppet!)
- +135 DPS at max level—the third highest among Queen equipment options
- +713 HP at max level, giving her respectable survivability
Best Strategies for the Action Figure
So, is the Action Figure worth the investment? Absolutely. Here are a few standout use cases that the community is already buzzing about:
- Queen Charge Strategies: Dropping the Queen solo with the Action Figure for funneling or taking out key defenses is now highly viable. The Level 10 Giant Giant tanks for days, giving the Queen ample time to clear a massive section of the base .
- Pair with Grand Warden: In ground-heavy compositions, the Giant Giant serves as an incredible frontline tank that benefits from the Warden's Eternal Tome and Healing Tome. Unlike clones or summons, this unit has no time limit.
- Combine with Magic Mirror: This combo provides burst damage potential, especially with Queen clones. The tanking from the Giant Giant lets your clones survive longer and wreak havoc in the core of the base.
If you're running ground smash or Queen-centric attacks, this equipment should be at the top of your upgrade priority list.
Returning Hero Equipment: Don't Miss These!
Missed out on some previous Epic equipment? The Trader Shop is bringing back fan favorites during this event. Keep an eye out for:
- Royal Champion's Electro Boots– A community favorite for RC charges
- Grand Warden's Lavaloon Puppet– Summons a Lavaloon to tank and deal damage
If you don't have these yet, now's your chance to grab them with Champion Medals.

Event Rewards & Resources
The Medal Event uses two main currencies:
- Event Tickets: Collected from Home Village attacks. Use these to recruit Superstar troops and unlock rewards along the event track.
- Champion Medals: The premium event currency. Spend these in the Trader Shop on Hero Equipment, Decorations, Ores, Magic Items, and more .
New to this event are Magic Snacks—consumable items on the reward track that provide temporary boosts. All that medal collecting is sure to work up an appetite!

Final Tips for the Event
- Prioritize the Action Figure. At 3,100 Champion Medals, it's expensive—but the versatility it brings to Queen attacks is unmatched. The Giant Giant's tanking power opens up new attack strategies that weren't possible before .
- Experiment with the Superstar Troops. K.A.N.E.'s resurrection mechanic and The Disarmer's multi-life ability are unique. Try them out before the event ends—they won't be around forever!
- Keep an eye on your Army Camps. Remember: red rings are friendly (defense), blue rings are foes (help attackers). Plan your defense layouts accordingly.
- Don't wait until the last minute. The event runs until April 29th at 8am UTC, but you'll have an extra two days after that to access the Trader Shop and Medal Event Building. Still, it's best to grab what you want early!
