Alright, let’s be honest—when you first open the Showstopper Challenge, it looks like one of those “yeah I’m not getting 3 stars today” kind of bases. Eagle Artillery staring at you, Infernos everywhere, and your brain already preparing excuses. But relax, this one is actually a scripted puzzle disguised as chaos.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through the exact steps to consistently 3-star the Showstopper Challenge. We’ll break down troop deployment, spell timing, and how to use the new Dragon Juke equipment properly.
Step 1: Set Up & First Funnel
Before you do anything, set your Grand Warden to Air Mode. If you forget this, just restart—no discussion.
- Drop 1 Baby Dragon at the top of the base (near Eagle Artillery)
→ This prevents the Eagle from becoming a problem later and starts your funnel.

Step 2: Spell Setup (Critical)
You’ll weaken both sides symmetrically:
Right side:
- 1 Earthquake Spell below the Multi-Target Inferno
- 3 Lightning Spells between the Air Defense + Revenge Tower
Left side:
- Repeat the exact same spell placement
This setup ensures your Dragon Juke pathing works correctly later. If you mess this up, the whole attack becomes cursed.
Step 3: Dragon Juke Activation
Deploy your Dragon Juke onto the Super Wizard Tower (with Angry Jelly).
- It will:
- Take down the tower
- Move toward the mortar
- Then you activate ability
Once triggered, it flies through the base and clears a huge chunk. This is the core mechanic—get this right, and the rest is cleanup.
Step 4: Bat Spell Value

- Drop 2 Bat Spells on each Revenge Tower
This removes key defenses and helps your air troops survive longer.
Step 5: Main Army Deployment
From the bottom of the base, spam in:
- Ice Golem
- Ice Hound
- 3 Dragons
- Electro Dragon
- Dragon Riders
- Druid
- Stone Slammer
- Grand Warden
- Minion Prince
Also place:
- Barbarian King on the right side (gold mine area)
This creates a full push upward through the base.
Step 6: Mid-Fight Control
- Once Ice units freeze defenses → Drop Poison on Clan Castle troops
- Immediately after → Use Grand Warden Ability
Timing matters here—too early and you waste it, too late and your army evaporates.
Step 7: Cleanup & Snipes
- Use 1 Super Minion (top) to take out the remaining Air Defense
- Use Baby Dragons (left side) to clean non-defensive buildings
At this point, you're basically guiding the attack rather than carrying it.
Step 8: Totem Spell Timing

Watch the Single Target Infernos at the back:
- Let them lock onto your troops first
- Then drop Totem Spell in the middle
This distracts them and prevents your key units from getting deleted.
Step 9: Final Abilities & Safety Net

- Use King Ability during mid-to-late push
- Use Minion to snipe leftover Air Defense (left side)
For spells:
- Save Revive Spell
- Ideally use on Dragon Juke
- Backup option: Minion Prince (if things go wrong)
Conclusion
This challenge looks intimidating, but it’s basically a “follow the instructions and win” scenario. The only real way to fail is misplacing spells or mistiming abilities. Once you understand the flow, it becomes surprisingly consistent—almost like the game is holding your hand (for once).
