Dragon Escape Introduction

In the March 2026 "Dragon Escape" season, 13 new challenges were introduced, functioning as a smaller temporary single-player campaign primarily designed to highlight the Dragon Duke.

Dragon Escape

Similar to the main Single Player Campaign, progressing to the next level requires earning at least one star on the previous level. Scoring stars in the challenge series unlocks different rewards, so you need to earn as many stars as possible to claim all the rewards. The specific rewards are shown in the figure below.

The first four levels became available on March 1, 2026, followed by the next four on March 10, and the final five on March 20. In this guide, we will walk you through how to easily achieve a perfect three-star victory on the final five levels.

Level 9: Controllable Charge Guide

This level acts as a beginner’s guide to the controllable hero feature, and all subsequent levels follow this same pattern. It’s a recreation of the first level from the Controllable Heroes: Cookie Chaos! series, but with the Dragon Duke in place of the Barbarian King, and the setting changed to the Dragon Palace scenery instead of the Epic Winter one.

Dragon Escape guide

Players need to deploy the provided Dragon Duke inside the cliff-enclosed area, and you can tap the map for the hero to move around. Once you destroy the firework building, a single attack is all it takes. The entire village is wiped out, and you secure a three-star victory.

Level 10: Controllable Counterattack

This level is set in the Dragon Escape Scenery back and some troop cages containing Dragons; destroying these cages releases them to fight.

To win, all we need to do is reach the fireworks at either the top or bottom of the base. The deployment zone is in the center. Place the Dragon Duke toward the left, then tap the dragons to unlock those troops. After that, select the blue building and activate the Dragon Duke’s ability.

Now just fly him to the outer edge of the base. The air sweeper at the top will push you back once, but once you reach the base’s perimeter, you can simply move the Dragon Duke up along the side behind the air sweeper and then tap the firework building.

Once the Dragon Duke gets there and destroys that building, the entire village collapses, and you’ll earn three stars.

Level 11: Controllable Vengeance

This level features three Revenge Towers within the level's defense, and in this level fireworks building are not available.

To secure a three-star win, deploy your Dragon Juke at the bottom of the base and unlock the Super Yeti, but do NOT unlock the Super Dragon.

After the Super Yeti, target the revenge tower straight ahead, then tap the next revenge tower as the first falls, and then proceed to the third. The Super Yeti and Super Dragon will move around; keeping Super Dragon locked ensures your Dragon Duke stays boosted through the center.

After destroying the third revenge tower, advance to the single-target Inferno—use an ability to stun it if needed, which will unlock the Super Dragon and Super Yeti on the left. Prioritize air defenses: clear the right-side air defense first, unlock the adjacent Super Yeti, then fly your Dragon Juke left to take the remaining air defense.

If the bottom Super Dragon remains locked, free it, then sweep the base to destroy all buildings and you will make it.

Level 12: Controllable Breakout

There's a shortcut (from Youtuber Judo Sloth Gaming): place your Dragon Juke behind the Electro Dragon on the left, trigger the fireworks, let the air sweeper push you back once, then wait to use your ability until you're above the southwest-pointing sweeper—use it there so the dragon targets the fireworks. This will beat the level.

Level 13: Controllable Destiny

The final level is relatively complex to execute. In fact, you only need to earn two stars on this level to claim the final reward: the Dragon Trophy Decoration. We've put together a detailed step-by-step guide for you.

Dragon Escape guide

  • Deploy your Dragon Juke at the bottom single-target Inferno. Tap the Inferno to steer the Dragon Juke onto it.
  • After the Inferno, tap the nearby Air Defense. Then pick up the Healing Spell and move down to the multi-archer tower.
  • Let the Dragon Juke clear the Wizard Tower and the Gold Storage, but do NOT unlock the bottom Super Dragon yet.
  • Push up to collect the next Healing Spell and tap the multi-archer tower.
  • Destroy the Clan Castle directly (do not lure the Ice Golems).
  • Ignore the next Healing Spell; go straight to the next single-target Inferno.
  • After that Inferno falls, take the adjacent Air Defense, then the multi-archer tower.
  • Return to the Healing Spell area and destroy the Gold Storage to recover HP—this groups your forces for the next phase.
  • Fly down and unlock the bottom Super Dragon so units push toward the Giant PEKKA together; use distractions as needed.
  • Then unlock the regular Dragon, fly up to unlock the Dragon Rider, and finally free the top Super Dragon. The bottom dragons will trigger the Ice Golems, which head toward the PEKKA.
  • Direct your Dragon Juke to the PEKKA, press ability next to it, and fly past to lure the PEKKA to the map edge. One hit is fine; ensure it follows you away from your main force.
  • Once the PEKKA is isolated at the edge, clean it up (swarming works but luring is far more consistent).

Complete the above steps, sweep the remaining buildings, and then you can secure three stars and earn the Dragon Trophy.
