Clash Royale March 2026 Update: 10th Anniversary Full Guide

It’s the anniversary of Clash Royale. Way back in 2016, we got introduced to the wonderful world of Clash Royale. While the game, at first, was considered an extension of Clash of Clans, it really did take us by surprise. With the March update, we get a new update for the anniversary, bringing in a decent amount of goodies and tweaks to the game.

For many of us, we might be returning to the game after a long break. Moreover, for those playing the game right now, the anniversary update might overwhelm you. For both scenarios, don’t worry. The Anniversary Update of Clash Royale

It is a milestone for Supercell, celebrating 10 years of one of its games. And they want us to join in for the celebrations. Continuing with the gaming culture, Supercell brings a plethora of changes and goodies to Clash Royale.

The New Heroes in the Clash Royale March 2026 Update

With the Anniversary, we get two new heroes to the lot. The Hero Barbarian Barrel and the Hero Magic Archer are the new ones. You can get them at Arena 5 for 200 Hero Coins. So, get yourself some hero coins or do a Clash Royale top up. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great way to save money.

Out of these heroes, the Hero Magic Archer is a reward if you complete the Anniversary Themed Event. These heroes are a good addition to your collection. Mainly for their abilities, Rowdy Reroll and Triple Threat.

• With the Hero Barbarian Barrel, you get the Rowdy Reroll. The ability allows him to barrel down the lane and can come back for a rollback.
• The Hero Magic Archer comes with Triple Threat. With this ability, he goes back and drops a decoy. Then, he will fire a triple arrow attack.

The Anniversary Themed Event in Clash Royale

Another one of the main updates of the anniversary is the Album Event. This event is for the Anniversary. Your only objective is to collect all 81 snippets which complete some scenes from the game’s history. You have time till April 6. Each scene has nine pieces, with varying difficulties, commons, rares, spics, and legendaries. So, when you complete the scenes, you get rewards.

The pieces are called Snippets. You can get 4 from the Daily Battle Rewards, events, clan voyage, shop, and special offers. If you get duplicates, they still help you get a Unique Snippet. After you complete the album, the extra snippets will give you bonus rewards.

Party And The C.H.A.O.S Mode

There is a party from March 2 to 11. Here, you can decide on a Gift. The gift depends on what you cast your vote for every day. So, for 10 days, you get 10 Gifts, and 10 chances to find the types of gifts that you can get.

Along with the party, you get the C.H.A.O.S mode. Here, you build a deck from a pool of cards. The main twist of this game mode is a modifier. The modifier can upgrade your card, with rarities in Common, Rare, and Epic. But you have to choose within a time limit; the game selects the left modifier. From the match, you get League badges. In this mode, all the cards are at Level 11.

The Extended Trophy Road and Deck Rework

The March updates extend the Trophy road. It now goes till 14,000, with four new arenas and chest multipliers. With the extension, you get 105,000 gold, 800 gems, Wild Cards, a 5-star Luck Chest, and a 5-Star Evolution Box.

The decks also get a rework. You get three slots: a slot for Evolution, a slot for Hero, and the last one is Wild. The Wild One can be Evo, Hero, or a Champion. Lucky chests will help you avoid the max-level duplicates, so no drops if you have lower than 60 maxed cards. Finally, Crystals get a boost.

The Global Tournaments Are Back in Clash Royale

Global Tournaments are coming back, but with changes. The goal is simple: win the most number of matches. But you get to play until 5 losses. With each win, you progress on the reward track. So, if you haven’t lost 5 times, you can keep playing. However, there are some changes from the ones before.

• Now, you have to use the cards that you have. But the level is capped at 11. This change is because people were making fake accounts in the past.
• All the rewards are free now. Before, you had to play gems to get the “Bonus Rewards”.
• There are also changes with the leaderboard.
  • If your rank is outside the top 10,000, your rank is a percentage. It will be in the Top 25% and so on.
  • From the Top 10,000, you see the exact rank.
  • In the Top 1,000, you are a part of the “Hall of Fame”.
• The badges are also back. If you finish the rewards, you get the Legendary badge. But if you finish in the top 1,000, you get the Champion Badge. When you win multiple tournaments, your badge levels up.
• Finally, you need to be at least Arena 3 to start.

What Is the Social Tab in Clash Royale?

The Social tab is purely for socials in the game. You can chat, start friendly matches, and grow your friend list. One new aspect is the Quickplay feature. It allows you to play against someone in the same room. But you can play different modes, like 1v1, 3x Elixir, and Sudden Death. In this mode, all the cards are capped at level 11.

It is Season 81, which is the Anniversary update. With the Pass Royale, you get the 10th Birthday Tower skin and the Hero Barrel emotes. If you didn’t buy the pass, there are good rewards in the free track too. You get the Skeleton Shield Bang emote. So, try to follow the sequence of the updates and timelines.

The Nerfs, Buffs, And Reworks in the 10th Anniversary Update

With the new updates, you get some changes to the characters. These changes make the game equal for everyone. Like, one character can’t overpower the rest of them.
