Clash Royale Season 83: Hero Bowler and Dark Prince

Developed by Supercell, Clash Royale is a real time strategic game that includes building decks, competing against Players and destroying towers. About the Season 83

In Clash Royale, Season 83 was released on 4th May, 2026 with the name “Siege and Swish. Alongside the season, the devs had also released a patch note that not only balanced the existing troops and heroes, but also brought brand new heroes - Hero Bowler and Hero Dark Prince.

Balance changes

From the official sources, here are the balance changes that have been made to keep the game fair and prevent troops to become too overpowered or too underused:

Evolved Tesla	Evolved Tesla’s pulse damage received a 15% decline, i.e, from 174 Hit points to 148 Hit points.	Nerf
Evolved Royal Hogs	With a massive 49% decline on Evolved Royal Hogs’ Landing damage, it now only deals 43 Hit Points of damage.	Nerf
Evolved Goblin Drill	Lastly, Evolved Goblin Drill had received the biggest nerf that is a decreasing the goblins spawned on second submerge from 2 to 1.	Nerf

Hero Bowler

The Hero Bowler has received the same base stats as the normal card and the only change is the addition of the Hero Ability.

Hero Ability

Bowler’s hero ability is named “Stone Swish” which only costs 2 Elixir, making it the cheapest hero ability in the game right now. Using it, Bowler stops moving and over a period of 9 seconds, he fires 4 boulders that deal AOE damage at 11.5 tile range. The main difference from the normal Bowler is the faster attack rate, High damage and the AOE impact zone. Considering that every attack was a confirmed hit, it will deal a maximum of 768 damage to the tower.

How to Unlock

Starting from May 4, the Bowler’s Mixtape Album will run live till May 25. During the event, players have to collect Snippets to complete every themed scene in the Album. Upon completion, they can claim the Hero Bowler for free along with special tower skin and emote.

Tips for Hero Bowler

• As Hero Bowler becomes completely immobilized during the ability casting, deploying it without any support or frontline will only act as a massive liability for you.
• If you manage to spawn with a Giant on the enemy's face, dealing with the Giant + a long range siege damage Bowler will make things much harder for your enemy.

Dark Prince

Same as other Hero cards, Hero Dark Prince also received the same base stats of the normal card with an extra addition of the Hero Ability.

Hero Ability

Hero Dark Prince’s hero ability is called “Destructive Dismount” and it only costs 3 elixir. In short, the hero dismounts doing damage, attacking on foot while the rhino charges into the building. After casting the ability, the Rhino and the Prince act as two different trop units to deal damage. Similar to Ram rider, the Rhino charges towards the nearest building while Dark Prince stays on foot and targets the nearest target. The Rhino deals 307 damage to ground troops within 3 tiles and has a strong pushback effect.

How to Unlock

Hero Dark Prince was released as the main hero of season 83 and in order to collect the Hero, you will have to do Clash Royale top up and purchase the Premium Pass Royale. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great way to save money.

Tips for Hero Dark Prince

• Do not use Hero Dark Prince’s ability as an opener. Instead, keep it as a counter push tool where you open it as mid-ladder to take advantage of the uncoordinated defense.
• If you want to counter the Hero Dark Prince, use Skeletons + Ice Spirit combo where the skeletons body block the Rhino and the ice spirit freezes the dismounted Dark Prince.
