The Train vs Replace Trap

This is the most important mechanical warning in the entire pet system.

The training interface has two buttons:

Train: Rolls a new set of random stats. These stats are not saved yet.

Replace: Permanently saves the previewed stats to your pet.

If you see a good roll and press Train again without pressing Replace first, that roll is gone. The training books are consumed. You get nothing.

Correct workflow:

1. Use a Training Book.
2. Check the previewed stats.
3. If the roll is better than your current stats, press Replace immediately.
4. If the roll is worse, press Train again.

Do not chase perfect rolls. A modest improvement that you actually lock in is far better than a perfect roll you accidentally discard.

Training Stat Priority by Stage

Your ideal stats change as your account grows.

Early to Mid-Game

Focus on economy and development stats. These compound over time.

Construction and Research Speed are especially valuable because they speed up everything else on your account.

Late Game

Shift toward combat attributes.

Pet progression requires Pet Food, Taming Manuals, Energizing Potions, Strengthening Serum, and Training Protocols.

Pet events are the other major free source. The 7-Day Journey and Pet Training events reward leveling, breakthroughs, and training actions. Complete every daily radar scan and zombie clear while these events are active.

The Level 30 Stop Strategy

For most early pets, Level 30 is the correct stopping point.

That said, later S-tier breakthroughs require your total combined pet levels to hit certain milestones. Parking early pets at Level 30 is not wasted — it clears future requirements while keeping their skills available.
