Dark War Survival Season 6 introduces the new Origin Lands map, shifting the season away from pure power competition and toward resource planning, connected territory, and camp cooperation. Players must develop seasonal buildings, improve resistance, coordinate routes with alliance members, and compete for important areas during limited war periods. Because Origin Lands works very differently from the regular world map, random expansion and uncoordinated attacks can quickly waste resources. This guide covers the overall progression rhythm, route planning, seasonal development, and war strategy to help players adapt to the Season 6 map and build a more stable expansion plan.

Dark War Survival Season 6 Map Overview

Dark war Survival Map

The season commonly called Dark War Survival Season 6 introduces the Ancient Egypt-themed conquest map known officially as Origin Lands.

Unlike the regular world map, Origin Lands is built around connected territory and coordinated camp warfare. Players must work together to create tile routes, secure seasonal resource locations, occupy cities and passes, and protect the strategic infrastructure that allows their camp to advance.

The main features of Origin Lands include:

  • Competition between two major camps;
  • Connected tile routes and territorial expansion;
  • Influence gained from cities, passes, and Strongholds;
  • Seasonal resources such as Oases and Holy Water;
  • Rapid troop transportation through Portal Gates;
  • Scheduled war periods and camp protection;
  • Ruin Tasks found in Ancient Egyptian temples.

The season rewards are partly distributed according to alliance Influence rankings within the winning and losing camps. As a result, Origin Lands is not only about defeating enemy troops. Map control and long-term territorial value matter just as much.

The Two Camps and the Main Victory Objective

After entering Origin Lands, players are divided into two competing camps:

  • Order Tribe
  • Vengeance Union

Players still belong to their individual alliances, but in Origin Lands, every alliance’s actions also affect the wider position of the entire camp.

Control of cities, passes, Strongholds, and tiles influences camp expansion, while the Influence earned by each alliance helps determine season rankings and reward tiers.

Players need to consider objectives on three different levels:

  • Personal progression: Earn seasonal resources, complete tasks, and improve resistance.
  • Alliance progression: Capture cities, establish expansion routes, and increase Influence.
  • Camp progression: Avoid unnecessary conflict within the same camp and work together to restrict enemy expansion.

In practical gameplay, the direction and connectivity of your tiles are usually more important than the total number of tiles owned. A stable route leading toward a city, Oasis, pass, or Stronghold is often more valuable than a large collection of disconnected tiles.

How the Season 6 Tile System Works?

The Origin Lands map is divided into capturable tiles. In normal gameplay, players expand from territory that is already connected instead of starting from any random point on the map. The expansion can continue horizontally, vertically, or diagonally from an eligible connected tile. More importantly, recent update expanded the list of valid connection points. A route can now connect through, Know more about season 6 tiles guide.

  • Tiles owned by members of the same camp;
  • Cities controlled by the same camp;
  • Oases controlled by the same camp.

The updated system supports wider camp-level cooperation.

Current Official Tile Rules

The rule can facilitate the progress right now, Players should pay attention to these.

  • Capturing a tile costs 1 Energy.
  • Newly captured tiles receive 2 minutes of protection.
  • A tile can hold up to 20 reinforcing formations.
  • Protected tiles can still be garrisoned.
  • Tile-on-fire duration was later adjusted to 15 minutes.

Recommended Tile-Team Structure

An efficient alliance should not send every player down the same route. Here is the better structure.

  • A main group builds the primary route;
  • A second group creates a backup route;
  • Defensive players reinforce narrow connection points;
  • Lower-power players repair gaps and scout enemy movement;
  • High-power players keep formations available for cities, Oases, and enemy garrisons.

Active tile builders are valuable even when their combat power is relatively low. Their job is to keep the path open for the alliance’s stronger formations.

Camp Protection and War Schedule

Enemy camp territory cannot normally be attacked at all times. The first official Origin Lands schedule opened camp warfare on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11:00 to 15:00 server time. An April 30 update later shortened the Territory Triumph war window to: Wednesday and Saturday, 11:00–13:30 server time.

During an active war window, players can attack enemy-camp tiles, Oases, and eligible strategic targets. Outside the window, those objectives are generally protected by the camp-protection system.

Season rules may reach different servers at different stages. Before every battle, verify the schedule through:

  • The event page.
  • The Tactics Manual.
  • The War Declaration countdown
  • Server time rather than your local time.

Pre-War Checklist

The war window is relatively short, so preparation matters. Before the timer begins, alliance leadership should.

  • Mark the main city, Oasis, pass, or stronghold target;
  • Prepare at least two connected routes;
  • Reinforce vulnerable tiles;
  • Build and upgrade Portal Gates;
  • Clear normal hospital queues;
  • Save Energy and healing speedups;
  • Assign rally leaders, tile builders, scouts, and defenders.

Do not spend the first part of the war window deciding where to go.

Oases and Holy Water Progression

DWS Oasis

Oases are some of the most important seasonal locations on the Origin Lands map. Oases as sources of Holy Water, a seasonal resource associated with buildings such as the Holy Altar and Obelisk. These buildings support resistance progression and allow players to challenge more difficult seasonal targets.

The basic progression loop is:

Capture Oases → Gain Holy Water → Upgrade seasonal buildings → Raise resistance → Access harder objectives.

Early in the season, alliances should prioritize Oases that are:

  • Close to the Camp Base.
  • Easy to reach with two tile routes.
  • Suitable for Portal Gate placement.
  • Difficult for the enemy to cut from the side.
  • Positioned near future city or pass targets.

Portal Gates and Front-Line Logistics

DWS

Portal Gates convert a slow tile route into a fast transportation network.

They help alliances.

  • Reinforce tiles and cities;
  • Move rally formations to the front;
  • Switch between separate battle lines;
  • Respond to a broken connection;
  • Return troops to the Shelter faster.

Good Portal Gate locations include:

  • The main route from the Camp Base toward the center;
  • Intersections between primary and backup routes;
  • Areas behind important Oases;
  • Safe positions behind cities and passes;
  • Locations frequently targeted by enemy tile cutters;
  • The edge of a stronghold region.

Avoid placing every Portal Gate on one straight route. A single breakthrough could disable access to the entire network.

A safer design uses One main Portal Gate+One backup Portal Gate+One rear defensive Portal Gate.

Cities, Passes, and Influence

Cities and passes are major strategic objectives because they provide Influence and control movement through the map.

Updates

Prepare

Recommended City Attack Sequence

  • Passes display Influence;
  • All cities and passes received 50% more durability during Origin Lands;
  • City reinforcement capacity increased to 25 formations;
  • When a city changes ownership between opposing camps, it generally receives a 1.5-hour truce;
  • Same-camp ownership changes generally receive only a 2-minute truce.
  • Maintain its connected tile route;
  • Deal enough destruction damage;
  • Reinforce the city immediately;
  • Prepare for the end of the truce;
  • Keep a second formation available for counterattacks.
  • Build at least two routes toward the target.
  • Establish a Portal Gate or fast transport point.
  • Clear enemy tiles around the city.
  • Use rally leaders against the garrison.
  • Use high-destruction formations against durability.
  • Reinforce immediately after occupation.
  • Repair routes and reposition during the truce.
  • Do not send every formation home as soon as the city is captured.

Stronghold Rules

Strongholds have more restrictive rules than regular tiles and cities.

According to the latest adjustments:

  • Strongholds and tiles inside their areas can only be attacked by the enemy camp during Saturday’s War Declaration period;
  • Capturing an enemy stronghold, or a neutral stronghold inside enemy territory, generally creates a 1-hour truce;
  • Other ownership changes may receive only a 2-minute truce;
  • Members of the owning camp can teleport their Shelters into the stronghold region;
  • Enemy-camp members cannot teleport into that region.

This makes Saturday especially important. Wednesday can focus more heavily on routes, Oases, cities, and other targets, while Saturday requires dedicated stronghold attack and defense planning. A stronghold is valuable not only for Influence. Once controlled, it can become a new forward relocation and staging area for the entire camp.

Shelter Teleportation

Players can teleport their Shelter onto the tile owned by the same camp and the tile owned by the same alliance.

After teleporting, the tile underneath the Shelter remains on the map and keeps its original ownership. When a stronghold is captured, same-camp players can also teleport inside its region, while enemy-camp players are blocked from doing so. Before teleporting, check:

  • The ownership of the destination tile;
  • Nearby enemy cutting routes;
  • Access to Portal Gates;
  • Whether the Shelter will block further tile expansion;
  • Whether the position is too close to the front;
  • Whether a safe retreat location remains available.

The ability to teleport does not mean every player should stack directly on the front line.

Ruin Tasks and the Central Temples

Dark war Survival Ruin task

The central Origin Lands area contains Egyptian-themed temples. Current gameplay guides describe eight related temples, including locations associated with figures such as Sobek and Set. Each temple can offer a different Ruin Task, such as: Spending a certain amount of Rubies; Defeating a specific enemy; Completing a battle or development objective.

This updates later improved the system:

  • Accepted tasks can be abandoned manually;
  • Abandoning resets the task’s progress;
  • The daily acceptance attempt is refunded;
  • Free daily refresh attempts were added;
  • Additional refresh costs were adjusted.

Do not spend a large amount of Rubies purely to finish an inefficient task. Drop or refresh it and select a better objective.

Weekly Divine Cycle and Battlefield

Origin Lands includes a Weekly Divine Cycle that grants a different set of buffs each week. These bonuses apply only inside the Origin Lands map.

One officially announced war-day cycle, Sheltering Grace, provided:

  • +200% healing speed;
  • −50% healing cost;
  • +1,000 allied healing-aid attempts;
  • +10,000 Hospital capacity.

Always check the current Divine Cycle before planning a war. A healing-focused week favors sustained fighting, while offensive, marching, or defensive bonuses may require a different strategy.

The official Battlefield feature can be accessed through the World Map or Radar’s War tab. It shows areas where intense fighting is taking place, helping leaders identify the enemy’s main push and helping regular players find locations that need reinforcements.

State Hospital and War-Day Losses

On Wednesdays and Saturdays during Origin Lands:

  • 90% of lost units are sent to the State Hospital;
  • Units in the State Hospital can be recovered for free on Sunday and the following Monday.

This reduces the risk of permanent losses during major camp battles, but it does not make troops disposable.

  • Players must still manage:
  • Normal Hospital capacity;
  • The number of healthy formations remaining;
  • Healing queues;
  • Participation in later events;
  • Free recovery before it expires.

Use the State Hospital to increase your alliance’s tolerance for meaningful battles, not to justify repeated solo attacks with no strategic purpose.

Roles for Different Power Levels

Type

Focus on

High-Power Players

  • City and stronghold rallies;
  • High-level Oases and elite targets;
  • Clearing major enemy garrisons;
  • Defending important Portal Points;
  • Breaking through during the limited war window.

Mid-Power Players

  • Reinforcing cities and tiles;
  • Intercepting enemy tile builders;
  • Attacking weak connections;
  • Assisting with durability damage;
  • Moving between the main and backup fronts.

Lower-Power and F2P Players

  • Building primary and backup routes;
  • Recapturing burned tiles;
  • Scouting enemy movement;
  • Taking undefended connection tiles;
  • Reinforcing strategic positions;
  • Marking enemy Portal Gates;
  • Reporting gaps in the enemy network.

Origin Lands gives active lower-power players a meaningful strategic role. A coordinated tile team can open the route that allows stronger players to capture a city—or cut the route that prevents an enemy rally from receiving support.

Recommended Season 6 Progression Plan

Phase One: Build the Seasonal Economy

  • Upgrade the Holy Altar, Obelisk, and other seasonal buildings;
  • Collect Holy Water and seasonal materials;
  • Complete efficient Ruin Tasks;
  • Clear enemies near the Camp Base;
  • Locate nearby Oases, cities, and passes.

Phase Two: Plan the Tile Network

  • Select a primary and backup direction;
  • Prevent members from duplicating the same path;
  • Extend routes toward Oases and early cities;
  • Reserve space for Portal Gates;
  • Defend narrow connection points.

Phase Three: Prepare for War Days

  • Save Energy and healing speedups;
  • Clear the Hospital;
  • Check the Weekly Divine Cycle;
  • Share target coordinates;
  • Assign rally leaders, builders, and defenders;
  • Confirm the server-time schedule.

Phase Four: Execute During the War Window

  • Cut enemy routes first;
  • Advance through key tiles;
  • Use Portal Gates to maintain reinforcements;
  • Garrison every captured objective immediately;
  • Repair the network during truce periods;
  • Ignore enemies who are unrelated to the strategic objective.

Common Mistakes

1. Capturing Tiles Without a Destination

Random tiles do not guarantee progress. Build toward Oases, cities, passes, and strongholds.

2. Depending on One Route

A single tile line can be cut easily. Important targets should have at least one backup connection.

3. Building Portal Gates Too Late

Portal Gates have placement cooldowns. Build them before the fighting begins.

4. Fighting Same-Camp Alliances Unnecessarily

Updated connection rules allow same-camp tiles, cities, and Oases to support routes. Internal conflict usually helps the opposing camp.

5. Overspending on Ruin Tasks

Tasks can be abandoned or refreshed. Do not damage your long-term Ruby plan for one inefficient mission.

6. Treating the State Hospital as Infinite Troops

Units in the State Hospital are temporarily unavailable. Meaningless losses still weaken your camp during the active battle.

Conclusion

Dark War Survival Season 6’s Origin Lands is not simply a new map for comparing combat power. It is a long-term system built around resources, routes, logistics, and camp warfare. To progress consistently, alliances should establish a Holy Water resource loop early, build double routes and Portal Gate networks in the mid stage, and prioritize cutting enemy connections on war days instead of simply attacking front-line tiles. To progress consistently, alliances should establish a Holy Water resource loop early, build double routes and Portal Gate networks in the mid stage, and prioritize cutting enemy connections on war days instead of simply attacking front-line tiles. In Origin Lands, individual power may decide whether one battle can be won, but alliance planning and execution determine how far the camp can progress throughout the season.
