Some of Ultimate Team’s most memorable players were never ICONs. They were the pace merchants, physical monsters, skillers and cheap beasts that somehow became impossible to forget—and EA SPORTS FC 27 is bringing them back through the new Hall of FUT.

EA first introduced Hall of FUT in July with five inaugural inductees, then expanded the lineup to 21 players on September 1. From Walcott’s 96 Pace and Fellaini’s 90 Physicality to the legendary Gervinho–Doumbia–Ibarbo connection, this class is built around FUT history rather than real-world trophy cabinets.

With FC 27 Early Access beginning on September 18 and the worldwide launch following on September 25, 2026, here is every confirmed Hall of FUT player, their full face stats, the cards that stand out most on paper, and how the new Gallery system lets you unlock them.

 

What Is Hall of FUT in FC 27?

Hall of FUT is a new Player Item type introduced in EA SPORTS FC 27 to celebrate footballers who became iconic specifically within Ultimate Team.

That distinction matters. Hall of FUT is not simply another name for ICONs. EA describes its inductees as players who became iconic “on the virtual pitch”—the unexpected community favourites whose memorable Items, standout attributes or in-game effectiveness helped shape FUT culture even if they were never considered conventional football legends.

That is why this first class includes names such as Adebayo Akinfenwa, Seydou Doumbia, Gervinho, Víctor Ibarbo and Aiden McGeady alongside more decorated stars such as David Luiz, Hulk, Mario Balotelli and Marouane Fellaini.

All 21 FC 27 Hall of FUT Players

The first full Hall of FUT lineup contains 21 players. Nine start at 85 OVR, while the other 12 are rated 84.

Each revealed base Item also comes with a PlayStyle+, generally chosen to reflect the qualities associated with that player’s old FUT cards. The face stats below follow EA’s September 1 reveal.

What Stands Out About the First Hall of FUT Class?

The ratings make the theme very obvious: this is a FUT nostalgia squad, not a traditional legends squad.

There are seven natural strikers and eight more players listed at LW, RW or RM, meaning 15 of the 21 Items are concentrated in attacking or wide positions. There is only one CB, David Luiz, and no goalkeeper at all.

Pace is everywhere too. Nine of the 21 players have at least 90 PAC, led by Theo Walcott at 96. Gervinho follows at 94, while Błaszczykowski, Doumbia and Ibarbo all sit at 93.

At the other end of the spectrum, seven players reach at least 85 PHY. Fellaini tops the class with 90, followed by Richards at 89 and both Akinfenwa and Guarín at 88.

That combination of extreme Pace, Physicality and recognisable gameplay traits is exactly what made many of these players famous in older FUT titles.

Based on the confirmed face stats and PlayStyle+ selections, several cards already stand out.

 

Fastest Hall of FUT Players

Pace was central to the reputation of many old-school FUT favourites, and the new cards lean heavily into that history.

Walcott sits three points clear of the 93-Pace group, but the real nostalgia hit comes immediately below him. Gervinho, Doumbia and Ibarbo were particularly notorious FUT options during the FIFA 15 era, when their pace-heavy profiles could be combined in Serie A squads.

Balotelli leads the raw Shooting rankings, but the surrounding attributes matter. Pato and Doumbia bring considerably more Pace, Hulk is the most physically complete attacker, while Guarín is unusual because that 85 Shooting comes from central midfield rather than a forward position.

Strongest Hall of FUT Players

The surprise is that Akinfenwa is not actually number one. His reputation as “The Beast” remains intact with 88 PHY, but Fellaini takes the Hall of FUT crown at 90.

Akinfenwa’s inclusion still makes perfect sense historically. EA specifically highlighted his extreme Physicality ratings when announcing Hall of FUT, noting that two of his previous Ultimate Team Items reached the maximum 99 Physicality.

Best Dribblers in Hall of FUT

Dos Santos leads everyone with 88 DRI, and Technical+ makes that standout attribute particularly appropriate.

Elia is only one point behind but adds 91 Pace, while Gervinho’s 94 PAC / 86 DRI combination gives him one of the most extreme pure-winger profiles in the group.

 

How to Unlock Hall of FUT Players in FC 27

Hall of FUT is closely tied to FUT Gallery, one of FC 27’s biggest new Ultimate Team systems.

Gallery Sets are collections built around themes such as leagues, nations, clubs and campaigns. Once a Set is completed, it can be graded according to the Items used. Higher OVR and special Items can contribute more to the score, and better grades can produce additional rewards.

For Hall of FUT, the process is:

Complete Gallery Sets → Grade your Sets → Earn Gallery Tokens → Spend Gallery Tokens in the Gallery Store → Redeem base Hall of FUT Special Player Items.

EA confirmed this route when revealing the expanded Hall of FUT lineup on September 1. The Gallery Token Store will also change over the course of the season, so the available rewards will not necessarily remain static throughout FC 27.

EA has not yet published the Gallery Token cost of each Hall of FUT Item, so any specific prices circulating before launch should not be treated as confirmed.

 

What About the Ultimate Plus Hall of FUT Player Pick?

There is a separate way to receive one of the original five Hall of FUT players.

Players who secured the limited-time EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition during its July 23–August 31 availability window receive a 1 of 5 Hall of FUT Direct Player Pick containing:

• Adebayo Akinfenwa
• Marouane Fellaini
• Loïc Rémy
• Eljero Elia
• Giovani dos Santos

This is specifically a five-player Pick, not a choice from all 21 Hall of FUT Items. The Ultimate Plus Edition itself is no longer available now that its August 31 deadline has passed, but players who qualified for the offer retain the included reward.

 

Which Ultimate Plus Hall of FUT Player Should You Pick?

For eligible Ultimate Plus owners, there is no universal answer—the five cards have very different strengths.

Fellaini looks like the most unique all-round choice. He is the only 85 OVR player in the Pick and combines 90 PHY with 81 SHO, 78 PAS and 78 DEF. Precision Header+ also fits the aerial presence EA specifically highlighted when introducing him. The obvious limitation is his 74 Pace.

Rémy looks like the safest direct attacking choice. His 91 PAC and 84 SHO make him immediately easy to understand: get him running behind the defence and put him into finishing positions. Low Driven Shot+ gives the card an additional scoring tool.

Dos Santos is the best dribbler, with 88 DRI, 87 PAC and Technical+. He makes the most sense if you prefer close control and carrying the ball rather than simply attacking space.

Elia offers the strongest natural wide profile, combining 91 PAC with 87 DRI and Rapid+. His 74 Shooting, however, makes him less convincing as a primary scorer.

Akinfenwa is the nostalgia pick. His 88 PHY and Enforcer+ recreate the central idea behind his old FUT cards, but 72 PAC means he has a much more specialised profile than the other four.

Until the final FC 27 gameplay meta is established, Fellaini for versatility and Rémy for direct attacking value look like the two safest choices on paper.

EA did more than simply reveal the first five names—it explained why each belongs in Hall of FUT, which gives a much clearer idea of what the new Item type is supposed to represent.
