FC 27 Season 2 brings back familiar Ultimate Team favorites through FC Heritage. Here’s what the Premium Pass adds, which rewards matter most, and whether you should spend Coins or FC Points.
Is the FC 27 Season 2 Premium Pass Worth It?
The Season 2 Premium Pass is a reasonable option for regular players who already have 1,000 FC Points available and expect to reach the later levels. Spending 500,000 Ultimate Team Coins is a tougher decision: you give up a substantial squad-building budget for rewards you still need to unlock.
Rashford, Mendy and the Premium PlayStyle+ Evolution are the main reasons to consider upgrading. If none would improve your squad, keep progressing on the free track and reassess later. You can upgrade during the season and unlock Premium rewards for levels you have already reached.
FC 27 Season 2 Dates and Premium Pass Price
Season 2 runs from October 22 to December 3, 2026, with a 30-level reward track.
Premium unlocks an additional reward track alongside the free Season Pass. Both use the same Season Points progression. Buying Premium does not immediately award every player or complete the season for you.

Do You Need to Buy Premium Again for Season 2?
Yes, if your only entitlement was the Season 1 Premium Pass. Owning Premium in Season 1 does not automatically cover Season 2.
The edition distinction matters:
Ultimate Plus Edition: includes Premium Passes for Seasons 1–5.
Ultimate Edition: includes the Season 1 Premium Pass.
Standard Edition: does not include Season 2 Premium access as an edition benefit.
Check your existing entitlement before spending Coins or FC Points.
FC 27 Season 2 Free and Premium Pass Rewards
Season 2 features 30 levels of rewards across the free Standard track and the paid Premium track. Premium owners can also claim the free rewards as they progress. Some levels offer a choice rather than every item listed, so check the reward selection before claiming.
Reward notation: “83+ ×3” means a pack containing three players rated 83 or higher. “3 of 6” means selecting three players from six options. Semicolons separate listed rewards without specifying whether they form a bundle or a choice.
Free Pass vs Premium Pass: What Is Different?

The free track already offers FC Heritage players, packs, Player Picks and Evolutions. Premium adds another set of rewards, including exclusive players and EVOs.
For a purchase decision, count only what Premium adds. Saint-Maximin and Rolfö are free-track reward options, so neither should be used to justify paying for Premium.
Pay attention to the reward label. A Bundled Reward contains multiple items; a Multi Choice Reward asks you to select an option. A player displayed next to a pack is not necessarily awarded alongside it.
Key Season 2 Premium Pass Player Rewards

These are the Premium player milestones to consider before upgrading.
Which Premium Evolutions Matter Most?
Do not judge this pass solely by the Heritage players. An Evolution that improves a player already central to your team can be more useful than another attacker sitting on the bench.
The Premium track includes Dual Identity at Level 14 and Flank Masterclass at Level 22, offering additional routes to develop eligible players.
The late Level 28 Premium PlayStyle+ Evolution, Clinical or Technical?, offers a choice of Finesse Shot+ or Technical+. The entry requirements are a maximum overall of 85 and no existing PlayStyle+. It cannot add a second PlayStyle+ to a player who already has one. The free track has its own PlayStyle+ option, Glue or Genius, involving Press Proven+ or Inventive+.
Premium also includes Corridor Control at Level 5 and Midfield Roundabout at Level 26. The Level 26 Ultimate Scream designs are cosmetic rewards; changing a card's appearance should not be counted as an attribute or PlayStyle upgrade.
Before assigning value to an EVO, check the complete eligibility conditions, available branches and completion requirements against a specific player in your club. An attractive reward does not help your squad if your intended player cannot enter it.
How Much SP Do You Need to Complete Season 2?
Level 30 requires 30,000 SP, with each level unlocking at another 1,000 SP. Premium offers 2,500 SP at Level 11 and another 2,500 SP at Level 25, for a combined 5,000 SP once both rewards are claimed.
That leaves 25,000 SP to earn through other sources if you use both Premium SP rewards. Across the six-week season, this works out to approximately 4,167 SP per week. This is a planning average, not a weekly cap or a promise that every objective will be available immediately.
Progress can come from Ultimate Team, Career Mode and The Grounds where supported. Use the active FC Hub objectives to check what counts; do not assume last season's SP amounts or tasks are unchanged.
Should You Spend FC Points or Coins?
Buying With 1,000 FC Points
If you already have FC Points and intend to complete the season, Premium gives you a visible progression path to specific rewards. That can be easier to plan around than spending the same points on packs with uncertain contents.
The purchase still depends on participation. If you stop playing before the later milestones, you will miss several of the rewards that make the pass appealing.
Buying With 500,000 Coins
Coins deserve a stricter comparison because they can immediately buy players on the Transfer Market.
Ask what 500,000 Coins would improve today. If that budget fixes several weak positions, buying Premium may slow your team’s progress while you wait to unlock its rewards. Market purchases can also be sold later, whereas untradeable rewards do not return the same flexibility.
Do not add together the apparent value of every player and pack option. When a level requires a choice, you receive the selected option rather than the combined contents of the reward screen.
If you are planning your Season 2 budget, LDShop’s FC 27 Coins options can help you prepare for the Premium Pass or your next squad upgrade. Decide which route benefits your team before committing your budget.
Is It Better to Buy Now or Wait?
Wait if you are uncertain about your playtime or would be paying with most of your Coins.
Premium rewards for levels already reached unlock when you upgrade during the season. You can therefore make progress first, see which players still fit your team, and buy before the season ends if the additional rewards justify the cost.
Buying earlier can make sense when you want an available Premium reward immediately or will use the Premium SP rewards as you reach them. It is less compelling when your only target is Rashford and you are still far from Level 30.
FAQ
Conclusion
The FC 27 Season 2 Premium Pass is most attractive to regular players who want several of its exclusive players and have a clear use for the Premium EVOs. At 1,000 FC Points, it is worth considering if you expect to finish the track.
At 500,000 Coins, be more selective. Keep playing, compare the Premium rewards with your actual squad needs, and upgrade when the additional content earns its place in your budget. If you decide to buy, LDShop offers a more affordable FC 27 Season 2 Premium Pass option to help you get started for less.
