Updated: August 19, 2026
The EA FC 27 Ratings are here, with Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland leading the men's rankings at 91 OVR and Alexia Putellas topping the women's list at the same rating.
But this year's Top 27 also brings some major changes from FC 26. Michael Olise is among the biggest risers, Lionel Messi climbs back to 89, while former joint-No. 1 Mohamed Salah drops out of the men's Top 27 entirely. Here are the full FC 27 Top 27 ratings, plus how they compare with FC 26 and the real-world performances behind the biggest changes.
EA FC 27 Men's Top 27 Ratings

EA's official FC 27 reveal puts Mbappé and Haaland at the top, followed by a deep 90-rated group and an 88 OVR cutoff for the Top 27.
Why Did These Men's Ratings Change?
Michael Olise has probably the strongest case for a major upgrade. His second Bundesliga season was exceptional: 15 goals and a league-high 19 assists, Bundesliga Player of the Season honours, and a domestic league-and-cup double with Bayern. He was not simply productive either; his influence extended across Bayern's attack throughout the season. Moving him into the game's very top tier is one of the easier FC 27 decisions to defend.
Bruno Fernandes also gave EA very little reason to keep him where he was. He finished 2025/26 with a Premier League-record 21 assists, breaking the previous single-season mark held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne, and was voted EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Season. His upgrade reflects an individually outstanding campaign even without needing to lean on team trophies.
The strong Paris SG representation makes sense for a different reason. Paris became the first side since Real Madrid in 2018 to retain the Champions League, with João Neves and Vitinha controlling midfield, Kvaratskhelia providing attacking threat and Pacho and Nuno Mendes forming part of the team's defensive foundation. Their upgrades feel like recognition of sustained elite-level performances across a championship-winning unit rather than one spectacular individual month.
Arsenal's rise is visible in the ratings too. Gabriel, Saliba and Rice formed part of the spine of the side that ended Arsenal's 22-year wait for a Premier League title. None receives an extreme jump, which feels appropriate: their upgrades reward consistency and team-level dominance rather than a sudden breakthrough.
Messi's upgrade may generate more debate, but his recent production is difficult to ignore. He finished the 2025 MLS regular season with 29 goals and 19 assists, won the Golden Boot and a second straight MVP award, then helped Inter Miami win MLS Cup. Whatever weight players place on league strength, those numbers provide a clear performance basis for EA moving him back upward.
Luis Díaz is another player whose new rating follows an immediate impact after changing clubs. His first Bundesliga campaign produced 15 goals and 14 assists as Bayern retained the league and won the DFB Cup, while he also contributed heavily during their Champions League run.
The downgrades are harder to judge purely by trophies. Hakimi was still part of a Champions League-winning Paris side, while Kimmich won a domestic double with Bayern. This is a useful reminder that EA's OVR is not a medal count: individual match data, role and relative performance matter too. Van Dijk's larger decline comes after a much more difficult title defence for Liverpool, whose defensive stability deteriorated during 2025/26.
EA FC 27 Women's Top 27 Ratings

Alexia Putellas remains at the summit, while Khadija Shaw joins Aitana Bonmatí at 90. Further down, a substantial group of players has climbed from the mid-80s into the 87–89 range.
Why Did These Women's Ratings Change?
Claudia Pina's rise is one of the most convincing. After finishing as the 2024/25 Women's Champions League top scorer, she followed it with a career-best 21 league goals in 2025/26 and lifted the Champions League as Barcelona returned to the European summit. That combination of individual output and major silverware gives her upgrade a very strong foundation.
Ewa Pajor's smaller rise follows another elite season. She finished the 2025/26 Women's Champions League as its leading scorer with 11 goals and struck twice in the 4-0 final victory over OL Lyonnes. In her case, the interesting question is arguably why the increase is only modest rather than whether an upgrade was deserved.
Hannah Hampton has one of the strongest résumés among the new names near the top. She won the inaugural Women's Yashin Trophy after helping Chelsea complete an unbeaten domestic treble in 2024/25, then played a decisive role in England's EURO 2025 triumph, including penalty-shootout saves in both the quarter-final and final.
Temwa Chawinga's continued rise is similarly easy to understand. She followed her breakthrough by becoming the 2025 NWSL MVP and Golden Boot winner, giving her back-to-back MVP and scoring honours. That level of sustained dominance makes her move into the upper-80s feel earned rather than premature.
Melchie Dumornay also strengthened her case on Europe's biggest stage. She was OL Lyonnes' leading Champions League scorer during the earlier stages of the campaign and later produced a Player of the Match performance against Arsenal as OL reached the final.
The small downgrades at the other end require more nuance. Bonmatí missed part of the decisive stretch with a fibula injury, while Graham Hansen and Mapi León also dealt with fitness problems around Barcelona's Champions League run. Meanwhile, Russo still scored nine Champions League goals. In other words, a one-point fall should not automatically be read as a poor season; availability and stronger competition at the same rating level can matter just as much.
FC 27 vs FC 26: Who Entered and Left the Top Ratings?
New Men's Top 27 Players in FC 27
Why Did They Break Into the Top 27?
There are several very different routes into this group.
Olise and Fernandes arrive on the back of major individual honours; Díaz and Messi combined huge attacking numbers with trophies; Rice and Saliba were central to a Premier League-winning Arsenal side; and the Paris contingent helped retain the Champions League.
Oblak is the exception, and an important one. He does not need an upgrade to enter the new list. His continued position among the elite goalkeepers — after becoming the first player to win six Zamora Trophies — combined with FC 27's extra Top 27 slot and reshuffled same-OVR ordering is enough to bring him into the published group.
Overall, this year's newcomers are not simply beneficiaries of older stars falling away. Most have a clear 2025/26 performance case for moving upward themselves.
Which Men's Players Dropped Out from FC 26?
Why Did They Drop Out?
Salah is the clearest case where the change in status reflects a major shift from the season that produced his FC 26 rating. His 2024/25 campaign delivered a record 47 Premier League goal involvements, but his involvement and attacking output fell sharply at the beginning of 2025/26 as Liverpool struggled to reproduce their title-winning form. That contrast helps explain why a 91-rated position became difficult to sustain.
Availability is another major factor for several names. Musiala suffered a broken leg and dislocated ankle at the 2025 Club World Cup and spent almost 200 days out before returning in January. Saka's campaign was also interrupted by multiple injury absences before he returned strongly during Arsenal's title run. Raphinha and Lewandowski both dealt with fitness issues during Barcelona's season as well.
But it would be wrong to explain every departure as poor form.
Lautaro Martínez is the best counterexample. He helped Inter win Serie A, scored 17 league goals, supplied six assists and was named Serie A's Best Striker. His exclusion therefore says more about how crowded FC 27 has become around the 88–89 range than about a disappointing season.
Wirtz also produced notable Champions League performances during Liverpool's uneven campaign, while Saka still played an important role for the eventual Premier League champions. That is why we would avoid calling everyone in this table a “downgrade loser” until EA releases their exact FC 27 ratings.
New Women's Top 27 Players in FC 27
Why Did They Break Into the Top 27?
Unlike the men's group, there is no unchanged player here: every newcomer has strengthened her rating.
The biggest rises are backed by meaningful achievements rather than hype. Pina combined goals with Barcelona's European title, Chawinga collected another NWSL MVP and Golden Boot, and Hampton added the Women's Yashin Trophy to her club and international honours.
Dumornay was decisive in OL Lyonnes' run to the Champions League final, while Harder scored eight times in the competition as Bayern reached the semi-finals. Ona Batlle, meanwhile, was a regular part of the Barcelona side that reclaimed the European title.
That combination of individual output and deep runs in major competitions makes the turnover feel less like EA making room for new names and more like a genuine change in the top tier of the women's game.
Which Women's Players Dropped Out from FC 26?
Why Did They Drop Out?
Here the most important factor is the 87 OVR cutoff rather than a wholesale decline among the outgoing players.
Availability clearly hurt some cases. Mallory Swanson missed the entire 2025 NWSL season and did not return to competitive action until May 2026, while Kelly and Mead had fitness concerns during Arsenal's latter Champions League run.
Others actually provide evidence against treating an omission as a poor-season verdict. Endler, Heaps and Hegerberg all started the 2026 Women's Champions League final for OL Lyonnes, while Williamson remained part of an Arsenal side that reached the semi-finals.
The bigger difference is what happened below them. Pina, Chawinga, Hasegawa, Banda and Hampton all made major jumps, with several other players also moving upward. When so many mid-80s players break into the 87–89 range at once, established names can fall outside a Top 27 even without suffering a dramatic collapse themselves.
That makes the women's turnover look more like a rising competition level around the cutoff than a rejection of last year's stars.
Biggest FC 27 Rating Winners
Michael Olise stands above the rest of the men's field when it comes to the scale of his improvement, and his Bundesliga Player of the Season campaign explains why. Bruno Fernandes' record-breaking creative season and the rise of Paris SG's Champions League-winning core are the other changes that feel particularly well supported by real-world results.
On the women's side, Pina, Chawinga and Hampton have perhaps the clearest award-and-performance cases. Pina became an increasingly decisive scorer for European champions Barcelona, Chawinga continued to dominate the NWSL, and Hampton collected one of the biggest individual honours available to a goalkeeper.
The common thread is that FC 27 appears more willing to move players quickly when their recent performance demands it, rather than keeping the same established names locked into the upper-80s year after year.
Conclusion
The FC 27 Top 27 ratings show plenty of movement from FC 26, with recent form, major trophies, international performances and injuries all reflected across the rankings. Olise's rise stands out, while Salah's absence and several surprising downgrades are likely to generate just as much debate.
