What Is Ultimate Scream Team 2 in FC 27?

Ultimate Scream is Ultimate Team’s Halloween-themed promotion, bringing special player items, spooky designs and the potential for unusual upgrades. Team 2 would add another group of players to the campaign, expanding the options available after the opening squad.

The latest rumours put position changes at the heart of the second selection. Valverde is linked with an RB item, Kvaratskhelia with an ST card and Perišić with a CDM version. Those changes could open up different starting formations and squad combinations, making this more than a straightforward round of rating boosts.

Ginola, Laudehr and Quaresma are also among the names linked to the release, alongside current attacking stars such as Messi, Olise and Matheus Cunha.

When Is FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 2 Expected?

October 30, 2026 is the projected release date for Ultimate Scream Team 2, assuming a weekly follow-up to the opening squad. The Team 2 schedule still awaits official confirmation.

The final announcement will also establish how long the squad stays in packs and whether additional players arrive through separate campaign content.

Alternate positions, Player Roles, skill moves, weak foot and the complete PlayStyle selection are still awaiting confirmation. These details will be particularly important for players moving into a new position.

Currently Rumoured Ultimate Scream Team 2 Players

David Ginola

Ginola is one of the biggest attacking names linked to Team 2. His rumoured 90-rated ST combines 91 PAC, 89 SHO, 88 PAS and 92 DRI with 85 PHY, offering an appealing mix for a striker who needs to create chances as well as finish them.

The passing and dribbling are what make that profile interesting. He could receive to feet, draw a defender and release a strike partner instead of depending entirely on through balls. For players who build attacks through their striker, those qualities could be as useful as the pace. His final skill moves and weak foot will be key to judging how complete the card feels.

Lionel Messi

Messi is linked with a 90-rated RW featuring 90 PAC, 88 SHO, 90 PAS and 91 DRI. That combination points towards a wide creator who can come inside, combine around the box and supply runners rather than simply race down the touchline.

With 64 PHY in the circulating details, quick exchanges and changes of direction look more appealing than prolonged physical duels. An overlapping full-back could provide width while Messi moves into space to create. Any alternate central positions would add flexibility, but those have yet to be confirmed.

Michael Olise

At 91 OVR, Olise is the highest-rated name in the rumoured selection. His CAM item pairs 90 PAS and 92 DRI with 89 PAC, giving him a strong creative profile for the space behind the striker.

That balance could suit teams that struggle to connect midfield with attack. Rather than asking him to make every run beyond the defence, use nearby runners to create passing angles and let him carry the ball when a defender steps out. His rumoured 85 SHO makes the detailed finishing attributes worth checking before treating him as the main scoring threat.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Kvaratskhelia’s rumoured 90-rated ST is one of the more interesting position changes. With 91 DRI, 88 PAC and 82 PHY, he could offer a different central option for players who prefer turning defenders and combining in tight spaces.

A two-striker setup could be a useful fit: Kvaratskhelia receives between defenders while a partner attacks the space behind. His 86 SHO keeps the focus on the final shooting breakdown and attacking PlayStyles. The position change is appealing, but his ability to finish difficult chances will decide how convincing he is as a regular striker.

Federico Valverde

Valverde is linked with an 88-rated RB boasting 91 PAC, 84 DEF and 86 PHY. Add 84 PAS and 82 DRI, and the rumoured card has the makings of a full-back who can help progress attacks without sacrificing recovery speed.

That could make him particularly interesting for players who want their right-back involved in the build-up. The main checks will be defensive PlayStyles and Player Roles: strong attributes alone do not establish whether he is best used overlapping, moving inside or holding his position. His final alternate positions could also determine how easily he fits into an existing squad.

Simone Laudehr

Laudehr offers another rumoured 88-rated RB option, with 86 PAC, 83 PAS, 85 DRI, 83 DEF and 82 PHY. The dribbling stands out for a full-back, especially for teams that use short passes to escape pressure near the touchline.

Compared with Valverde’s rumoured card, she trades some pace and physicality for higher dribbling. That gives the two right-backs different potential uses, though the detailed agility, balance and defensive attributes will matter more than a single headline comparison. Price and chemistry could ultimately be the deciding factors.

Quaresma, McTominay and Matheus Cunha

Quaresma is linked with an 87-rated CAM carrying 91 DRI and 86 PAS. He is an intriguing option for an advanced creative role, although 31 DEF makes a deeper defensive assignment difficult to justify. His confirmed skill moves and attacking PlayStyles will be worth watching.

McTominay brings a different profile at 88-rated CAM, with 85 SHO, 82 DEF and 87 PHY. He could add a more physical presence behind the striker, particularly for players who want someone able to contest possession and contribute in both directions. Alternate positions would determine whether he can also start deeper.

Matheus Cunha is rumoured as an 88-rated ST with 89 PAC, 87 SHO and 88 DRI. That spread makes him another candidate for a mobile central attack. His eventual cost will be important when comparing him with the bigger names in the same release.

More Rumoured Team 2 Options

Jónsdóttir and Amoura offer the highest pace figures in the circulating lineup at 93 and 92 respectively. With Jónsdóttir at RW and Amoura at LW, both could interest players who want direct running from wide areas. Their rumoured 84 SHO also gives them a reason to attack the box rather than stay exclusively on the touchline.

Ryerson and Cissé provide the central defensive options. Ryerson combines 80 PAC with 83 DEF and 86 PHY, while Cissé has 85 DEF and 88 PHY. Defensive PlayStyles and detailed recovery attributes will help establish whether either can handle an aggressive defensive line.

Perišić is linked with an 86-rated CDM item featuring 85 SHO, 85 PAS and 84 DRI. Those attacking numbers could give a deeper midfield role some extra distribution and goal threat, although 78 PAC and 80 DEF make his positioning and defensive support worth considering.

Garner and Laura Pérez round out the midfield. Garner’s 85 PAS and 84 DEF suggest a more defensively balanced CM option, while Laura Pérez combines 85 PAC with 84 PAS and 84 DRI for carrying and circulating possession. Neither should be labelled a bargain until their release methods and costs are known.

How Did Ultimate Scream Upgrades Work in FC 26?

FC 26 offers a useful reference for the campaign’s upgrade theme. Its Ultimate Scream items received permanent Player Role improvements alongside temporary boosts to one face stat. These historical rules should not be treated as confirmed FC 27 mechanics.

One random face stat boosted to 99 for seven days

The temporary boost affected one of the six main categories printed on the card: PAC, SHO, PAS, DRI, DEF or PHY. It did not mean a 99 overall rating or 99 in every category. Once the seven-day window ended, the temporary boost expired, while the Role improvements remained.

Ultimate Scream items created through Evolutions did not receive Full Moon upgrades in FC 26. The card design alone therefore did not establish eligibility for those upgrades.

FC 27’s upgrade rules and eligible items remain unconfirmed. The FC 26 system is a reference for how the campaign has worked before; its dates and conditions should not be carried over to this year.

Will Ultimate Scream Team 2 Include SBCs and Objectives?

The previous campaign featured SBCs, Objectives, Evolutions and themed events alongside its special cards. Similar content could accompany Team 2, giving players more ways to take part beyond opening packs or buying items on the Transfer Market.

The release methods for the rumoured players have not been confirmed. Keep some fodder available if one of these names interests you, then compare any player SBC with tradeable alternatives before committing. An Objective reward could also cover a position you were planning to upgrade.

Market prices and SBC costs will be added once the content is available, followed by a closer look at the strongest cards and best-value options.
