Evony The King's Return Super Event Guide: Rewards, Probus, Glorious Attire, and More

Evony's Super Event is back, and this time the biggest reward might be the opportunity to complain about it with your alliance. Every second Friday of the month brings another round of events, free rewards, and things to grind.

Evony Super Event Overview

The Super Event includes several different activities, so there is plenty to click through even when the event itself feels a little light.

The main features include:

Some of these features may look familiar if you've been playing Evony for a while. The Super Event is not exactly reinventing the wheel here. Speaking of wheels, let's start with one of the newer additions.

Probus

Probus is one of the notable generals featured in the current event lineup.

His buffs are strong, while his march size is more limited. Fully ascending him provides a 10% March Size Capacity bonus. His Covenant also includes another 10% March Size Capacity bonus. Current Probus data confirms that his Civilization Covenant provides March Size Capacity +10%, while his Honor Covenant includes a 7% Global bonus.

The Covenant system also features a 7% Global bonus instead of the previously mentioned 5%.

The available Covenant bonuses focus heavily on siege related stats. The lineup includes attacking and defending bonuses, while some players may still prefer to see other stats added to the system.

Glorious Attire

Glorious Attire is one of the main features of the Super Event.

The event includes a chance to obtain a skin. The featured skin in this event is available through the paid option rather than the free option.

The attire provides the following stats:

• 25% City Ranged Attack
• 8% Ranged Attack to activate

Ranged defense, HP, and defensive attack related bonuses have also appeared frequently across Evony's event and offer content.

Glorious Attire is not a completely new type of content for Evony. The official game announcements have repeatedly used the Glorious Attire event for General Skin rewards.

Dragon Battle Rewards

Dragon Battle is another part of the Super Event.

The bottom of the final column on the right includes Gems and Blazons.

There is no major change to the Dragon Battle rewards highlighted here. It remains one of the activities included in the current Super Event lineup.

Wheel of Time

The Wheel of Time is also available. The free spin gives 4 Golden Twigs.

The event also brings up the question of whether it is worth spending on this type of content.

Sprint Event

The Sprint event focuses on speed-ups.

Construction speed-ups can be used first, with other speed-ups added afterward.

The Sprint event also has a lower point total than the consuming event mentioned in the same discussion.

Golem and Other Event Content

Golem is available as one of the event monsters.

However, Golem is not exactly the most exciting choice for everyone. Witches and Warlords are preferred over Golems and Turtles by some players who would rather see those monsters available continuously.

Other sections of the event also contain familiar content rather than introducing a large amount of new material.

That is part of what makes this Super Event feel a little underwhelming. There are several activities to open, but much of the lineup is familiar.

What About Compendiums?

Compendiums are another major topic surrounding the event.

Blood of Ares has become relatively easy to obtain, while Compendiums remain an important resource for progression.

Some lower spending players on a newer server already have heavily developed Senates and duties, which makes the current availability of Blood of Ares less significant for them.

Replacing some of the Blood of Ares rewards with Compendiums would therefore be one possible change to the event reward structure.

For now, that remains a suggestion rather than an announced change.

Is There Much New Content?

The current Super Event combines several familiar activities with Probus and Glorious Attire as the more notable features.

Probus adds a new general to the lineup, while Glorious Attire provides a skin related reward option.

Dragon Battle, Wheel of Time, and Sprint are also part of the event lineup.

There are still free rewards to collect, including the free Wheel of Time spin and the other rewards available throughout the event.

Final Thoughts

The Evony Super Event has a lot of familiar buttons, Probus, Glorious Attire, Wheel of Time, Sprint, and plenty of rewards to click through. It is not exactly the kind of event that makes you jump out of your chair and yell "LET'S GO!" But hey, at least the buttons are still there, and there are rewards waiting to be collected.
