Evony Probus Guide: Best Build, Pairings & Gear

Probus is a high-end Siege Machine PvP General built around Siege Attack, HP, Defense, and March Size. His raw buffs place him among the current top Siege options, but his best use depends heavily on which Siege General you already own.

If you already have Demetrius I developed as your Main General, Probus is especially attractive as an Assistant. If your current Siege pair is something like Romulus + Hersilia, replacing a fully developed General immediately is much harder to justify.

Although the Wine Festival has ended, Probus is available again during the 2026 Harvest Festival, which started on October 9, 2026. Evony's official Harvest Festival announcement lists Probus as one of the possible rewards from the event packages, giving players another chance to obtain him shortly after his debut.

The Harvest Festival is a new acquisition window rather than Probus' original release event. His release remains tied to the 2026 Wine Festival. Getting one copy is useful for an Assistant build, while turning Probus into a fully Ascended Main General requires considerably more investment.
