Morena Skills
Wraith Siphon
Morena transforms into a wraith and continuously damages up to six enemy units in a circular area around herself for two seconds. Each additional target reduces the damage taken by each target by 5%. After the cast ends, the damage dealt by this skill is converted into healing for her own troop.
This makes positioning important. Nearby enemies give her more targets to drain, but the healing arrives after the cast ends. Keep enough troops alive to benefit from that recovery rather than relying on it to rescue an already collapsing march.
Corrupted Field
When Morena leads rally troops, she creates a field that reduces damage dealt by enemies inside it. At maximum skill level, the base reduction is 15%. Each additional enemy unit weakens the reduction by 0.5 percentage points, down to a minimum of 2.5%.
The commander requirement determines how you build around this skill. Morena must lead the rally to activate the field; placing her behind another commander means relying on her other abilities.
Cursed Touch
When Morena’s troop is attacked, she has a chance to remove one beneficial buff from the attacker. If the attacker has no beneficial buffs, it takes damage with a DMG Factor of 1,000 instead.
The trigger chance increases from 16% to 80% as the skill levels up. This gives Morena a source of disruption alongside her damage and recovery.
Death Edict
Death Edict increases Morena’s troop ATK and Soldier Limit. At maximum level, it provides:

Soul Return
Morena’s awakening upgrades Wraith Siphon, extending wraith form from two seconds to four seconds and raising its listed damage factor to 5,000. It retains the six-target limit, additional-target damage reduction and damage-to-healing effect.
Awakening is a meaningful long-term goal because it improves both the duration and listed damage factor of her main skill.
Morena Skill Priority
For a general-purpose lieutenant build, our recommended priority is Wraith Siphon → Death Edict → Cursed Touch → Corrupted Field. This puts her main damage and recovery skill first, followed by troop bonuses and buff removal.
Corrupted Field becomes more important when you intend to use Morena as the rally commander. Decide on that role before committing heavily to a build designed around her field.

Freyja + Morena
Commander: Freyja | Lieutenant: Morena
Freyja is the first pairing we would consider for a developed Morena. In the inspected ten-combination test, Freyja + Morena placed second, while reversing their positions to Morena + Freyja placed tenth. Commander placement made a substantial difference in that setup.
Start with Freyja leading. Morena contributes her damage-to-healing skill, troop bonuses and buff removal from the lieutenant slot. For players who already use Freyja, this is a practical combination to compare against their current march.
The result supports trying the pairing; it does not establish a universal ranking across every troop tier, equipment setup and opponent.
Arthur + Morena
Commander: Arthur | Lieutenant: Morena
Arthur + Morena placed fourth in the same comparison, making it another option for players with an established Arthur. Morena adds recovery and utility without requiring you to develop an entirely new commander.
This pairing is particularly worth considering when Freyja is already assigned elsewhere. Start with the stronger commander you have available and compare the resulting losses and damage before moving resources between marches.
Oda Nobunaga + Morena
Commander: Oda Nobunaga | Lieutenant: Morena
Oda + Morena also has actual rally battle reports supporting its use. Oda supplies his Cavalry and rally-focused mechanics, while Morena contributes additional sustain, troop bonuses and buff removal.
Keep the troop composition aligned with Oda’s Cavalry requirements. With Oda commanding, Morena’s Corrupted Field does not activate, so evaluate the pairing through its combined damage and recovery rather than the field’s reduction effect.
For an account with a developed Oda, this is a reasonable alternative to starting another commander from scratch.
Morena Talent Build
For Morena as commander, our recommended direction is Support first, followed by useful Balanced investment. The inspected talent layout places substantial investment in Support rather than completing Balanced first.
Build toward sustained fighting and consistent skill use. Additional Sieging investment should serve the activity you are preparing for, particularly when Morena is being developed specifically to lead rallies.
Choose the commander before resetting talents. A Freyja-led march and a Morena-led rally use her in different ways, so one allocation should not automatically be copied across both setups.

Morena’s exclusive rune effects are especially relevant when deciding whether to develop her as a rally commander.

The exclusive footwear effect is the standout mechanical upgrade for a Morena-led rally. It removes the penalty that normally weakens Corrupted Field as additional enemy units enter its area.
That makes it an important consideration when investing specifically in her field. The chestpiece complements the same role with extra HP, while the trinket provides additional Rage reduction during wraith form.
For a lieutenant setup, prioritize effects that remain useful in that position. Rally-leader requirements should guide which exclusive upgrades receive your resources.
How to Use Morena
Keep Morena’s damage-to-healing cycle in mind when choosing engagements. Her recovery comes after Wraith Siphon finishes, so troop strength at the start of the cast matters.
In clustered fights, position the march where her area skill can reach nearby enemies without moving beyond support from your other troops. Extra targets create opportunities for damage and recovery, but they also increase the pressure on the march.
When comparing pairings, check troop losses alongside total damage and healing. Keep starting troop count, equipment and opponents as consistent as possible so that the comparison tells you something useful about the heroes.
Is Morena Worth Building?
Morena is worth considering when you have a clear place for her in a developed march. Freyja + Morena is our first pairing to try, with Arthur and Oda offering alternatives for different rosters.
A dedicated Morena rally commander requires a more focused investment. Her exclusive footwear changes an important limitation of Corrupted Field, so account for rune development alongside skills and awakening.
For accounts still finishing their first core pair, complete that foundation before spreading upgrades across another major project. Once Morena has a defined role, concentrate resources on the pairing you actually plan to deploy.
