Lauma Best Premium Teams

Lauma is a 5* Dendro character from the Nod-krai region that holds the role of a Dendro enabler for different team compositions that utilize the different Dendro related Elemental Reactions like Bloom, Hyperbloom, Catalyze and the new special Lunar Bloom Elemental Reaction that she is designed to help facilitate and buff.

Due to the fact that Lauma’s skill kit can help both teams that take advantage of the new Moon Phases and Lunar Elemental Reaction effects of Nod Krai characters and teams that rely on Dendro-related Elemental Reactions, her best premium teams are quite diverse in nature.

Lauma Premium Lunar Bloom Team

As the premium option to facilitate the Lunar Bloom Elemental reaction and as the only character in the game that is confirmed to be able to use Lunar Bloom Elemental reaction as of right now, Lauma’s Lunar Bloom works on the basis of having at least 2 Nod-Krai characters to activate the Nod-Krai Ascendant Gleam effect, activating Lauma’s Talent to boost the critical rate and critical damage of Lunar Bloom Elemental Reaction.

Nilou

Baizhu

Sustain

Lauma serves as the main source of Lunar Bloom Elemental Reaction damage dealer in the team due to the fact that she is the only one in the team that can deal Lunar Bloom damage with her Hold Elemental Skill. However, Lauma is only considered a sub DPS in the team due to the fact that this team will need to take advantage of Nilou’s effect to create fast Bountiful Cores with the help of Lauma applying the Dendro marks on enemies with her Elemental Burst and Aino’s off field Hydro application, allowing Lauma to deal additional Dendro damage to enemies whenever a bountiful core explodes, dealing damage proportional to Nilou’s skill kit.

Baizhu serves as the main sustain character for this team due to the team having to create Bountiful Cores from Nilou’s kit, which heavily damages the team. Please note that since Lunar Bloom Damage can only be triggered by Lauma with her Hold Skill, the majority of the team’s damage output would still follow the principle of a normal Nilou Bloom team with additional Lunar Bloom damage mixed in with the help of Lauma. Aino and Lauma need to be in the same team together to trigger the Nod-Krai Ascendant Gleam effect to maximize Lauma’s Lunar Bloom damage. This team will be improved once a dedicated Lunar Bloom DPS character is released in the future.

Lauma Premium Bloom & Hyperbloom Teams

Ironically, as of her release, Lauma shines brighter in various Non Lunar Bloom teams by herself than with other Nod-Krai characters, due to the effect of her Talent that make it so that if there’s only 1 Nod-Krai character on the field, Lauma will make it so that all Dendro-related elemental reactions have the ability to deal critical damage. Therefore, there are several strong Bloom and Hyperbloom premium teams that would love to have Lauma in their team to maximize the elemental reaction’s damage output.

Lauma Premium Bloom Team:

Lauma

Nahida

Nilou

Kokomi

Elemental Enabler/ Sub DPS

Elemental Enabler

Main DPS

Sustain

Working on a similar principle to the Lauma Lunar Bloom team but without and additional Nod-Krai character, the Lauma Bloom team focuses on allowing Nilou to create Bountiful Cores buffed with Lauma’s talent to make them deal critical damage to help elevate the Bountiful Cores’ damage to the maximum.

Nahida and Lauma serves as Dendro enablers and Dendro buffers to the team, with Nahida’s ability to mass imprint Dendro marks on multiple enemies at the same time while boosting the team’s Elemental Mastery and Lauma’s talent to make the Dendro reactions deal critical damage. Nilou serves as the team’s main DPS, creating Bountiful Cores with her skill kit that can instantly explode and deal massive amounts of damage to all surrounding enemies with minimal effort, with the Bountiful Core damage being buffed by Nahida, Lauma and Nilou. Kokomi serves as the sustain option for the team to both help apply the Hydro marks on enemies while she is off field and provide massive amounts of healing for the team to survive the onslaught of Nilou’s Bountiful Core Explosions.

Lauma Premium Hyperbloom Team:

Lauma

Nahida

Raiden Shogun/ Yae Miko/ Cyno

Kokomi

Elemental Enabler/ Sub DPS

Elemental Enabler

Main DPS

Sustain

In addition to working well with Bloom teams, Lauma also works wonderfully with Hyperbloom team due to the two teams working under the same principle of taking advantage of Lauma’s talent to help the Elemental Reactions deal critical damage. The Premium Hyperbloom for Lauma consists of both Lauma and Nahida as Elemental Enabler and Supports that boost the team’s damage with Nahida boosting the team’s Elemental Mastery. Kokomi is used as the main sustain option for the team for her strong healing capability as well as her reliable off field Hydro application, allowing the team to create Dendro Cores without problems.

The main DPS of the team can be either Cyno, Raiden Shogun or Yae Miko, but the important thing is that all 3 of these characters need to be on Elemental Mastery build. This is to maximize the damage output of Hyperbloom Elemental Reaction rather than their own Electro damage output. By attacking Dendro Cores and activating the Hyperbloom Reaction on high Elemental Mastery build, these Electro characters will be able to boost the damage output of Hyperbloom Dendro bullets. All 3 characters can reliably trigger Hyperbloom with their Electro Infused attacks, with Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun having the extra benefit of triggering the reactions off field due to their skill kit effects.

Lauma Best F2P Teams

For Lauma F2P teams, the best teams will function essentially the same as her Premium teams, with F2P options substituting in for highly invested Premium options depending on the situation.

Therefore, the best F2P teams for Lauma will also be divided into the Lunar Bloom F2P centric team and the non Lunar Bloom centric teams with Bloom and Hyperbloom F2P teams.

Lauma F2P Lunar Bloom Team

Working on the same principle of having 2 Nod-Krai characters in the same team to trigger Lauma’s talent to boost the Lunar Bloom Damage when the Ascendent Gleam effect is active, the F2P Lunar Bloom team consist of both Lauma and Aino with other characters that can reliably create and trigger the Bloom Elemental Reaction:

Lauma

Aino

Kaveh

Xingqiu

Elemental Enabler/ Sub DPS

Elemental Enabler

Main DPS

Elemental Enabler

This Lauma F2P Lunar Bloom team works by allowing Kaveh to create as many Dendro Cores on the field with his Dendro infused Normal Attacks as possible with the help of both Xinqiu and Aino’s off field Hydro Application and detonate all of the Dendro Cores on the field at the same time with Kaveh’s Elemental Skill, triggering Lauma’s effects to deal Dendro and Lunar Bloom damage to enemies when Dendro Cores explodes. The dendro core damage is boosted with the help of a Elemental Mastery build Kaveh together with Elemental Mastery buffs from Aino and supplemented by Lauma’s Dendro damage effects. The team doesn’t need a sustain thanks to Kaveh’s ability to heal himself when he triggers Dendro cores, helping him to maintain his health at an acceptable level.

Lauma F2P Bloom & Hyperbloom Team

Similar to the Premium Bloom and Hyperbloom teams for Lauma, the F2P Bloom & Hyperbloom team for Lauma takes full advantage of Lauma’s talent to cause these elemental reactions to deal critical damage when there’s only 1 Nod-Krai character in the team.

Lauma F2P Bloom Team:

Lauma

Barbara

Kaveh

Xingqiu

Elemental Enabler/ Sub DPS

Elemental Enabler/Sustain

Main DPS

Elemental Enabler

The Lauma F2P Bloom team once again works similarly to the Lauma F2P Lunar Bloom team, with Barbara replacing Aino to allow only 1 Nod-Krai character in the party and trigger Lauma’s talent to make Bloom Elemental Reaction deal critical damage. The main DPS is once again Kaveh, focusing on allowing him to create as many Dendro Cores with Xinqiu and Barbara’s help and detonating them all at once with his Elemental Skill, dealing massive amount of Dendro damage to enemies instantly, supplemented with Lauma’s own Dendro Damage.

Lauma F2P Hyperbloom Team:

Lauma

Barbara

Shinobu

Xingqiu

Elemental Enabler/ Sub DPS

Elemental Enabler/Sustain

Main DPS

Elemental Enabler

The Lauma F2P Hyperbloom team works by making Lauma the main Dendro enabler by combo her Dendro infused normal attacks with Xinqiu’s Elemental burst and Barbara’s Elemental Skill, allowing the team to create as many Dendro core on field as possible while on the move. Couple this with Shinobu’s off field Electro Ring that can trigger Hyperbloom with her high Elemental Mastery Skill kit and you will be able to create a strong Hyperbloom team with high mobility and the ability to trigger constant Hyperbloom and deal damage to enemies simply with Lauma’s Normal Attacks.

Conclusion

The premium facilitator of the brand new Lunar Bloom Elemental Reaction and the strong Dendro support that can elevate other Elemental Reaction and Elemental Mastery Dendro-based team compositions, Lauma’s release promises to elevate the damage output of many different Dendro team comps by her simply existing, making her a highly sought after character by many players. We hope that with this guide, players will have a better understanding of the best Premium and F2P teams that can best utilize the amazing skill kit of Lauma and will be able to use her efficiently when clearing difficult contents in Genshin Impact version 6.0 and onwards.
