Genshin Luna Banner Leaks: Varka, Lohen, Nicole and more

With the 6.3 livestream aired, more and more leaks about the future Luna Banner pours down. The highly expected character Columbina, Zibai, and Illuga will debut in 6.3. Let’s follow LDShop to get to know the possible banner runs and reruns in Genshin Impact versions 6.4 - 6.8. Let’s get started!

The Next Version After 6.8 is 7.0

Based on the timeline projection, the next Summer Event should arrive in Version 6.8. Given that summer events typically occur near the end of a version and serve to foreshadow, generate hype, and drop clues for the upcoming nation, it's highly unlikely that Version 6.9 will exist—Snezhnaya will likely follow directly after 6.8

Version 6.4

Name: Varka

As a highly anticipated character, Varka may be released in Version 6.4. Varka is the current Grand Master and Knight of Boreas of the Knights of Favonius. Half a year ago, he departed on an expedition with eighty percent of the Knights of Favonius' manpower, leaving Jean as the Acting Grand Master in his absence.

Varka most likely isn’t a Lunar Reaction character, but there’s a strong chance he belongs to the Hexerei instead. It’s worth noting that in the first batch of Hexerei characters, not everyone is directly tied to the Hexenzirkel, so being a Hexerei character doesn’t automatically mean being part of the witches’ group.

Looking at Durin’s current kit and his support capabilities, it’s pretty clear that while he does give older characters a nice boost, that’s not really his main purpose. His real value is setting the stage for future characters. Because of that, there’s a very high chance that Durin and Varka are meant to be played together in a Pyro–Anemo Swirl team.

According to a Chinese Leaker, Lohen would be a standard 5-star character. 

 

Version 6.5

This picture is clearly shows that Nicole and another girl will join in Genshin 6.5 banner. And some Travelers guess that the girl was Gretel, who has been mentioned by Amber.

This is the patch that’s going to send lore fans into a frenzy. Nicole is finally showing up—the same Nicole who spoke to us at the end of the Inversion of Genesis quest, the voice that told us to trust our own eyes. She’s a huge deal in Genshin’s lore.

She is a member of the Hexenzirkel, one of the legendary Eight Witches in Genshin Impact.

There’s talk about her having insane synergy with Durin because of the Hexenzirkel connection, which could honestly breathe new life into some older units.

Gretel is framed as Amber’s talented trainee and a next-gen Outrider thread—cute on the surface, but actually huge if the Knights are reorganizing around whatever Varka’s expedition changes.

 

Version 6.6

A female character name Snegurochka was suddenly introduced, but specific details are unknown. 

Linnea isn’t a new face. We first met her during Aino’s event, before she appeared on the Version 6.0 banners. She works as an advisor for the Adventurers’ Guild and has extensive knowledge of the life sciences.

Aino’s and Ineffa’s voice-overs also mention her. According to Ineffa, Linnea is afraid of robots, which may be one reason she chose to study the life sciences.

Version 6.7

Sandrone, known by her code name "Marionette," is often seen accompanied by a gigantic puppet, emphasizing her unique identity among the Harbingers.

Sandrone and Columbina are both Harbingers of the Fatui. 

 

Version 6.8

Now we have a bad new about Alice, according to Douma leak, Alice will not join in the Luna Banner. So the version 6.8 character is not clear. Alice might be Snezhnaya’s first playable character, acting as an Ineffa—bridging two regions in one leap. Below is our speculation:

These characters have not been officially confirmed for the upcoming version's banner, but it’s certain that they will gradually be released in future banners. Let’s look forward to their arrival together!
