Genshin Luna Banner Leaks: Durin, Comlumbia, Varka and more

With the 6.0 Luna I banner released, more and more leaks about the future Luna Banner pours down. The highly expected character Durin and Columbia will debut in 6.2 and 6.3. The Next Version After 6.7 is 7.0

Based on the timeline projection, the next Summer Event should arrive in Version 6.7. Given that summer events typically occur near the end of a version and serve to foreshadow, generate hype, and drop clues for the upcoming nation, it's highly unlikely that Version 6.8 and Version 6.9 will exist—Snezhnaya will likely follow directly after 6.7.

A 5★ Pyro male character from Mondstadt, Durin, is speculated to be a sub-DPS with support ability. He is mimetic Nibelung. This character is pretty strong on his own—he can heal himself and also boost his teammates’ damage. He performed really well during testing.

Johoda is a 4-star Anemo Bow character in Nod-Krai, we have no idea of her kit yet. Her kit will leak soon, stay tuned for more updates.

 

Version 6.3

Phase 1 Columbina (Meta Character)

Name: Columbina

This girl is a Hydro polearm user who can consistently apply Hydro to enemies from off-field. She plays a key role in "Moon Reaction" teams (such as Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Freeze, which rely on Hydro + Dendro or Hydro + Cryo reactions), either as a core damage dealer or support. One of her main abilities is called "Song of the Hollow Moon", which is an essential part of her kit.

We currently know that Columbina will be available in version 6.3. She makes her first appearance during Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser: A Winter Night's Lazzo alongside her fellow Harbingers. She is the third of the Fatui Harbingers and one of the main characters featured in the major version update. Although there is not much information about her at present, Columbina has great potential to become a character with a unique style and novel mechanisms.

Phase 2 

A female character was suddenly introduced, but specific details are unknown.

 

Version 6.4

This character currently focuses mainly on dealing pure Anemo damage, without relying on elemental reactions.

As a highly anticipated character, Varka may be released in Version 6.4. Varka is the current Grand Master and Knight of Boreas of the Knights of Favonius. Half a year ago, he departed on an expedition with eighty percent of the Knights of Favonius' manpower, leaving Jean as the Acting Grand Master in his absence.

 

Version 6.5

A female character was suddenly introduced, but specific details are unknown. Besides, according to Seele's leak, Varak will be added in Standard Wish Banner, which means he may not out-meta the top-tier picks. The upside? Varak mains can pull him to C6S5 far more easily than before.

She is a member of the Hexenzirkel, one of the legendary Eight Witches in Genshin Impact.

 

Version 6.7

Now we have a bad new about Alice, according to Douma leak, Alice will not join in the Luna Banner. So the version 6.7 character is not clear. Alice might be Snezhnaya’s first playable character, acting as an Ineffa—bridging two regions in one leap. Below is our speculation:

Other Characters From Nod-Krai

Sandrone and Columbina are both Harbingers of the Fatui. Sandrone, known by her code name "Marionette," is often seen accompanied by a gigantic puppet, emphasizing her unique identity among the Harbingers.

These characters have not been officially confirmed for the upcoming version's banner, but it’s certain that they will gradually be released in future banners. Let’s look forward to their arrival together!

 

New Regions—Nod-Krai

The most recent leaks instead suggest that the Nod-Krai sub-region will be the entire focus of the version 6.0 updates.

Nod-Krai is a new, autonomous sub-region in Genshin Impact, located in the southern part of Snezhnaya. It's known for its harsh, snowy environment and serves as a melting pot for diverse factions and individuals from across Teyvat. Nod-Krai is also characterized by an ancient power predating the elemental Visions, attracting the attention of powerful groups like the Fatui.

A potential benefit of making players begin their journey through Snezhnaya in the Nod-Krai subregion is that this could provide the room to expand the narrative of the Fatui Harbingers. Aside from the few Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact whom players have gotten to meet firsthand so far, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding this central antagonist group, and allowing players to freely roam into the region that’s under the control of the Fatui Harbingers could undermine their perceived authority and strength. So, by spending time in the outskirts of the Snezhnaya region in Nod-Krai, players could potentially recruit allies and learn more about the Fatui Harbingers, preparing before inevitably encountering any more of these dangerous characters.

 

Conclusion

In short, with the upcoming updates and patches, there will be many new characters and features. What might come in version 6.2 is still up in the sky.

An estimated 15 characters are expected to be released over the course of a year. The 11 mentioned above likely cover the majority of characters coming in the upcoming 6.X versions. With only a few hidden characters left unannounced, this essentially forms the full banner roadmap for the next year.
