GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE has officially revealed its 4th Anniversary update, and this year's celebration is centered on the Third Surface Reclamation War.
The update launches on October 29, 2026, bringing three new Pilgrim Nikkes, Main Story Chapters 49 and 50, the new MARIA-n story event, new costumes, anniversary rewards, and up to 259 free recruit opportunities.

New 4th Anniversary Characters
Three new Pilgrim Nikkes were revealed during the livestream, with Marian and Scarlet receiving new versions and Rapunzel being distributed as the free anniversary SSR.
Marian: Queen
Marian: Queen is one of the headline characters of the 4th Anniversary.
She is a Fire-code Burst III Attacker who uses a Machine Gun and specializes in attacking multiple enemies. Her Burst further improves her offensive power while allowing her to hit multiple targets at once.
Her story also takes center stage in the new MARIA-n event, which explores more of Marian's past and her connection with the Commander.
Marian: Queen's Pick-Up Recruitment begins with the anniversary update on October 29 and runs until November 19.
Scarlet: Goddeath
Scarlet: Goddeath is Scarlet's new upgraded form.
She is a Fire-code Burst III Attacker using an Assault Rifle, with a kit focused on Pierce attacks. Activating her Burst strengthens her offensive capabilities and allows her to unleash more powerful attacks.
Her new form is tied closely to Scarlet's story and the legacy of Rose, with her equipment upgraded using Eden's technology.
Scarlet: Goddeath's Pick-Up Recruitment is scheduled to run from November 5 to November 26.
Rapunzel: Sanctuary Is Free
The third new Pilgrim is Rapunzel: Sanctuary, and players will be able to obtain her for free during the anniversary.
Rapunzel: Sanctuary is a Fire-code Burst II Supporter using a Rocket Launcher. She can heal allies through her attacks while also increasing the team's damage, with her Burst providing further offensive support.
Players can receive up to four copies of Rapunzel: Sanctuary through anniversary login and event rewards, allowing her to reach Max Limit Break without using the normal recruitment banner.
Up to 259 Free Pulls During the 4th Anniversary
The anniversary is bringing a large number of free recruitment opportunities.
According to the official 4th Anniversary announcement, players can earn up to 259 free recruit attempts through login rewards, anniversary events, minigames, free daily recruits, web events, and other activities.
The rewards include Advanced Recruit Vouchers, standard Recruit Vouchers, free pulls on anniversary banners, and special recruitment rewards.
There will also be 4th Anniversary Nikke Selection Boxes, with options including:
- Rapunzel: Sanctuary
- Chime
- Rapunzel: Pure Grace
- Snow White: Innocent Days
For players returning to NIKKE for the anniversary, there should be plenty of resources available before committing Gems or Gold Mileage Tickets to the new Pilgrim banners.
Pilgrim Selective Recruitment Returns
The livestream also revealed a new Pilgrim Selective Recruitment featuring:
- Nayuta
- Cinderella
- Grave
This gives players another opportunity to target previously released Pilgrims alongside the two new anniversary banners.
The anniversary rewards also include free recruitment opportunities specifically for the Pilgrim Selective Recruitment.
New Story Event: MARIA-n
The main 4th Anniversary event is called MARIA-n.
The story follows Marian as she wakes inside a vast research facility and begins exploring both the facility and the surface while uncovering hidden memories and secrets.
Marian has always been closely tied to the main story, so MARIA-n looks set to connect directly with the larger conflict surrounding the Queen and the Third Surface Reclamation War.
The event also introduces a new Marian theme song, Call My Name Again.
New Minigame: Fading Affection
The anniversary minigame is Fading Affection, a choice-based text adventure.
Players revisit fragments of past memories and make different choices that can lead to different outcomes.
Its structure is similar to the White Memory minigame from OVER ZONE, with the focus placed more on story choices and alternate conclusions than combat.
Main Story Chapters 49 & 50
NIKKE's main story will continue with Chapters 49 and 50.
The Third Surface Reclamation War moves into full-scale conflict as humanity confronts the Raptures and the Queen.
The update also introduces two new bosses:
- Nostalgia
- Goddess of Victory
The Goddess of Victory boss represents the Queen fused with the orbital elevator and appears to be one of the central threats of the new story arc.
New 4th Anniversary Costumes
Several new costumes were also shown during the livestream.
Gacha Costumes
- Marian: Queen – Last Affection
- Snow White: Heavy Arms – Lacrimosa
Marian's Last Affection costume features a wedding dress and includes additional presentation features such as a Burst animation and costume-specific effects.
Pass Costumes
- Neon: Vision Eye – Dear Grace
- Nayuta – Travisa
Several previously released costumes will also return during the anniversary period.
Other Anniversary Events
The 4th Anniversary update includes several smaller events alongside MARIA-n.
Trail Marker rewards players for progressing through the new Main Story chapters, with rewards including Recruit Vouchers and Custom Modules.
Volt Trip is a dice-based event where players complete daily tasks to move Volt around the board and collect rewards such as Advanced Recruit Vouchers and Custom Modules.
NIKKE is also running anniversary web events, Twitch viewing rewards, community campaigns, and other login activities throughout the celebration.
There will also be a TRACING THE STARS x Stellar Blade music collaboration, adding 22 Stellar Blade tracks to NIKKE, including four available for free.
