Basic Info: "Fleet-Footed Traveler"
Cipher is a 5-star limited Quantum Nihility character, specializing in high-frequency follow-up attacks. Her core mechanics focus on reducing enemy DEF and swirling single-target damage to nearby enemies.
She is also a Chrysos Heir of the "Trickery" Coreflame, having inherited Zagreus’s Coreflame and ascended to the rank of demigod. However, unlike other Chrysos Heirs, Cipher has been missing for quite some time—even Aglaea has no knowledge of her whereabouts.
Her secret text is: "Homeward you come, distant wind."
Based on what we know so far, Cipher seems to have chosen to evade responsibility after becoming a demigod, possibly due to learning a truth she was powerless to change—as if ignoring bad news would make it disappear.
However, her secret text suggests that, in the end, she has made up her mind to return. What exactly awaits her? We’ll have to wait for Version 3.3 to find out!
In the meantime, don’t miss out on Cipher’s essential character details:

Increases the wearer's SPD by 18% (30%). After using an attack, there is a 120% base chance to inflict "Bamboozle" on all enemies. "Bamboozled" enemies have their DEF reduced by 16% (24%) for 2 turns. "Theft" causes enemy targets to have DEF reduced by 8% (12%) for 2 turns. If the wearer's SPD is ≥170, there is a 120% base chance to also inflict "Theft". When "Bamboozle" or "Theft" is applied again, only the most recent effect takes effect.
Light Cone Deep Dive: T0 Universal!
Core Mechanics & Numerical Advantages:
● Base Stats: 582 ATK | 18% SPD Boost
● DEF Reduction Effect: AoE Target 16% DEF Reduction (Activates unconditionally)/ + Additional 8% AoE DEF Reduction (Triggers when wearer's SPD ≥ 170)
● Effect Logic: Single-target attacks can also trigger AoE DEF Reduction. With a 120% Base Chance, only 39% Effect Hit Rate is required for near-guaranteed application (Resist Chance < 1%).
Ideal Users: Cipher, Silver Wolf, Pela, Guinaifen, Luka, Sampo (The 170 SPD threshold is easily achievable for Nihility characters).
Key Character Comparisons:
● Silver Wolf: Her current signature LC "It's Showtime" (Single-target 12% Vulnerability / 1 turn) is completely overshadowed →The new LC provides AoE 24% DEF Reduction / 2 turns + SPD Boost →Saved EHR/CRIT substats can be converted into equivalent gains of ~24% EHR + 12% CRIT Rate.
● Cipher (Game-changing for her role as Acheron's best support!): Skill/Ultimate debuff application frequency increases by nearly 100% (Massive improvement over "Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat"!).
Important Notes:
Damage increase is not this Light Cone's primary advantage. The 5★ "Inherently Unjust Destiny" offers only ~5% more damage than the 4★ "Resolution".
Its biggest advantage is the 18% SPD Boost! Example (Pela): Only needs 19 SPD from substats to reach the full SPD requirement for the Messenger set (Originally required grinding for 37+ SPD!).
For Cipher supporting Acheron, it provides high-frequency debuff application!
● Cipher's Skill and Ultimate can apply debuffs, but her Basic ATK and Follow-up Attack cannot. If using "Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat", it cannot reapply its effect to enemies already affected. The new LC can reapply its effect repeatedly.Comparing Cipher E0S1 vs E0S0, debuff application efficiency increases by nearly 100%!
💎 Pull Recommendation: T0 Universal Light Cone. Reshapes Nihility team building logic.
