In Avalon, there is no invincible dragon—only the strongest troop composition and the deepest understanding. Whether you're a fresh T4 newbie just out of newbie protection or a T5 veteran ready to lead rallies in KVK, your troop choices and upgrade priority will determine whether you "hit a wall in one second" or "obliterate the enemy in one second." This Tier List isn't here to waste your time with empty talk—it's ranking the current meta troops and heroes, plain and simple.

Tier-S Heroes
These guys are either the first pick for rally leaders or the gods of defense. Don't ask if you should level them—just max them out.
Gorlois

Legendary rarity, tied to Gallantry units. His signature skill is Taunt (1st ability): every 8 seconds, he roars to pull aggro and deals 172 damage. His 2nd ability, Cyclone: spins up a tornado every 7 seconds, dealing 309 AOE damage. He's a god in PVE for pulling mobs, and he's annoying as hell in PVP too.
Sir Gawain

Also legendary, runs with Glory units. Same Taunt as Gorlois (lazy devs?). But his real nuke is Justice Spear (2nd ability): every 25 seconds, he throws a spear that knocks enemies back and hits for a massive 842 damage. In KVK, this guy can one-shot enemy squishies.
Oberon

Legendary, Freedom line. Again with the Taunt... did the devs just copy-paste? His 2nd ability, Blade Trap: sets a trap every 25 seconds, but the damage is only 51? Wait, am I reading that right? Might be a description bug or a control skill. Realistically, he's a bit overrated in S-Tier, but given his rarity and troop synergy, we'll leave him here for now.
Aurelius Pendragon

Legendary, Prosperity line. Finally, no taunt! His 1st ability, Banner: plants a flag every 25 seconds that lasts 8 seconds, boosting crit chance for allies in range by 30%. His 2nd ability, Sacred Fountain: creates a fountain at a chosen location that produces buffs. Pure support, team engine. In a rally, follow him around and watch those damage numbers go brrr.
Bors the Elder

Legendary, Gallantry line. The real damage dealer! His 1st ability, Flame Storm: summons fire at a target location every 7 seconds, dealing 204 damage per tick. His 2nd ability, Flame Meteor: drops a fire meteor for a disgusting 1,135 damage in one hit. This is why he's S-Tier—he one-shots players, mobs, everything. Try him, and you'll know.
A-Tier Heroes
A-Tier heroes aren't as broken as S-Tier, but they're definitely not a waste of resources. Some are even the backbone of F2P lineups.
Uther

Legendary, Glory line. 1st ability Banner: same as above, plants a flag for 30% crit. 2nd ability Iron Chain: throws a chain to bind the enemy, interrupting their skill cast, while dealing 430 damage. Huge utility. Essential for control chains.
Sir Kay

Epic rarity, Glory line. 1st ability Banner: note that epics also get a 30% crit flag (same as legendaries!). 2nd ability Mighty Strike: increases all troops' attack range for 10 seconds and deals 135 damage. Insane value for an epic. Must-level for newbies.
Morgause

Epic, Prosperity line. 1st ability Banner: 30% crit. 2nd ability Swift Shot: increases fire rate for 10 seconds, dealing 45 damage per tick. Solid for archer teams. Good for farming kills during KE (Kill Event).
Sir Lionel

Epic, Prosperity line. 1st ability Banner: 30% crit. 2nd ability Mighty Strike: same as Kay—increases attack range and deals 135 damage. Another quality filler. Honestly, A-Tier is just a "Banner toolman" convention. And it works.
Sir Tor

Epic, Gallantry line. 1st ability Banner: 30% crit. 2nd ability Shield Shock: slams a giant shield into the ground, knocking back nearby enemies and dealing 1,080 damage. This damage is already knocking on S-Tier's door. His downside? He's epic, so a bit squishy. But in small skirmishes, he'll slam entire groups into the dirt. So satisfying.
B-Tier Heroes
B-Tier heroes, in one sentence: Don't sink too many resources into them. Fine for early game, but by mid-game, they're benchwarmers.
Lady Isobel

Rare rarity, Glory line. 1st ability Banner: but only 20% crit (10 points less than the ones above). 2nd ability Mighty Strike: increases attack range for 10 seconds, deals only 96 damage. All numbers are nerfed across the board. Use her if you have no one else in early game. Once you get A or S-Tier, bench her.
Vortimer

Rare, Gallantry line. 1st ability Banner: 20% crit. 2nd ability Mighty Strike: 96 damage. Same as above—just a "budget" toolman.
Sir Safir

Rare, Gallantry line. 1st ability Banner: 20% crit. 2nd ability Swift Shot: increases fire rate for 10 seconds, deals only 32 damage per tick. The king of chip damage. Don't level him unless you're absolutely desperate.
Conclusion
Tier Lists are just references. Execution is what wins fights. You can whale out on all S-Tier heroes, but if you don't bubble and don't follow rallies, some dude with B-Tier heroes will farm you like a pig. Keep your bubble up, save your troops. Greed gets you burned. Alright, get out there and start rallying.
