Caesar, as a Defense-type agent, is like a “multifunctional fortress” for the team. She can shield allies with a thick barrier that not only soaks up damage but also buffs the entire team’s ATK, excelling in both defense and support. Her high Impact grants top-notch crowd-control: when small enemies swarm, a Basic Attack-Dead End can easily group and stun them. In boss fights, she can also interrupt crucial enemy skills with stuns.

W-Engine Effect:

CRIT Rate increases by 20/23/26/29/32%. When the equipper launches an EX Special Attack, the character gains the Qingming Companion effect, stacking up to 2 times and lasting 15s. On entering combat, immediately gain 2 stacks. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of the Qingming Companion effect increases the equipper's Ether DMG by 8/9.2/10.4/11.6/12.8%, and increases Ultimate and EX Special Attack Ether Sheer DMG by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16%.

 

Alternatives

Reel Projector	If a squad member’s HP is 50% or higher, they’ll receive 7.5% less DMG and 10% less Miasma Contamination. Note that only one squad member can have this effect active at the same time. All team members get damage reduction. The value of Miasma Contamination received is reduced. It also increases Impact. It’s given for free in the event and is useful for exploring new maps.
Spring Embrace	Reduces DMG taken 7.5/8.5/9.5/10.5/12%. When attacked, the equipper's Energy Generation Rate increased by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% for 12s. When the equipper switches off-field, this buff will be transferred to the new on-field character with its duration refreshed. Passive effects of the same name do not stack. Damage reduction. Getting attacked boosts energy recharge. Buffs are transmitted to the backline. These passive effects are quite useful. It’s a decent substitute among A-rank agents.
Bunny Band	Increases Max HP by 8/9.2/10.4/11.6/12.8%. Increases the equipper's ATK by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% when they are shielded. Increases max HP / Increases ATK. The attributes don’t really match well. Can barely make do with it. What Caesar really needs is Impact.

M1	Spearhead Advance	When Caesar starts combat or switches into the field, she instantly gives the whole team a Radiant Aegis shield. This shield can be triggered once every 300 seconds. While the Radiant Aegis is active, any enemies within a 5-meter range of the shield-bearing team member take 15% less Attribute DMG (because their Attribute DMG RES is reduced by 15%).
M2	Legacy of the Far Lands	During the Core Passive “Barrier of Resilience” (when Radiant Aegis is active), if Caesar uses her EX Special Attack: Her Energy Generation goes up by 10%. The shield bearer’s attack boost becomes 150% of its original value (so their attacks hit harder).
M3	Absolute Trust	When Caesar uses her EX Special Attack: Her Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack levels all increase by +2. (This makes these skills more powerful temporarily.)
M4	Aries the Battering-Ram	When Caesar uses a Chain Attack or her Ultimate: She gets 3 extra Assist Points. If her Energy is less than 20, she can use the EX Special Attack “Overpowered Shield Bash” by spending 1 Assist Point (instead of the usual cost). But this substitution can only happen once every 5 seconds.
M5	Romantic Conquest	When Caesar uses her EX Special Attack: Her Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack levels all increase by +2. (Same as M3’s effect for these skills.)
M6	Overload's Will	Caesar’s EX Special Attacks “Overpowered Shield Bash” and “Assist Follow-Up: Aiding Blade” have a chance to trigger a critical hit. The DMG of these skills is increased by 50%, and they deal an extra 50% DMG to the main target. When she uses “Overpowered Shield Bash” or “Assist Follow-Up: Aiding Blade”, her CRIT Rate goes up by 30% and her CRIT DMG goes up by 60% for 15 seconds. If she triggers this again before 15 seconds, the timer resets (so the buff lasts longer if reused).
