Under Hugo’s Dual-Stun mechanics, the meta for Stun Agents has shifted significantly. And in the future 2.0 banner, we will be receiving a new Fire Stun Agent, Ju Fufu. Who will be the best Stun in this scenario?

Top 7 Anby

Rank: A Element: Eletric Type: Slash

As an on-field Stunner, Anby's stun capabilities remain basic, relying on launch Basic Attack and EX Special Attack for Daze buildup. While serviceable for beginners, her stationary stun style suffers from poor survivability (no super armor/damage reduction) and zero team buffs.

In the current 1.7 version Anby is not recommended to build. Even without dedicated Stunners, running double supports with main DPS often yields better results than fielding Anby.

 

Top 6 Pulchra

Pulchra's priority dipped after Trigger's release but maintains niche viability. As an off-field Stunner, she shows potential in follow-up teams at E0.

At E6, she transforms into a universal Stunner surpassing Koleda's utility. She is worth building for proxies who lacking S-Rank Stunners with E6 Pulchra.

 

Top 5 Koleda

Rank: S Element: Fire Type: Strike

Koleda specializes in burst Stun via EX Special Attacks, ideal for quick-swap rotations with on-field DPS. When energy is full, switch Koleda on field to deal DMG and inflicits debuff on enemies without taking up too much of the main DPS’s output time.

Her main limitation is narrow functionality, only providing 35% chain attack DMG bonus per stack during Stun, up to 70%. For most main DPS characters, the benefit is relatively average.

Fortunately, Koleda works well with Evelyn, who was released in version 1.5 and focused primarily on combo skills. Evelyn can unleash multiple chain attacks during Stun windows, fully benefiting from Koleda’s buffs. This synergy makes Koleda a great alternative Stun option.

 

Top 4 Lycaon

Lycaon boasts exceptional overall qualities. In Ice teams, he can provide a comprehensive 25% Ice RES shred and 35% Stun DMG vulnerability, which are comparable to limited S-rank characters.

Qingyi is the most versatile Stunner in the current meta, blending exceptional on-field presence with a rare duality: she balances personal damage with exceptional Stun pressure while delivering an 80% Stun Vulnerability debuff, which is a game-changing buff that elevates DPS units’ burst ability during Daze.

This singular mechanic has reshaped team-building strategies, breathing new life into underperforming damage dealers by amplifying their Stun-window impact.

Her core rotation involves priming Stun gauges for burst carries like Zhu Yuan or Harumasa. Qingyi maintains field control while DPS agents build resources, then unleashes catastrophic damage when bosses enter Daze.

After Trigger release in version 1.6, Qingyi unlocked her full potential through the Qingyi+Trigger dual-Stunner combo. This team achieves unprecedented Stun efficiency through seamless ability chaining, elevating both Stun speed and rotation fluidity to new heights.

 

Top 2 Trigger

Functionally, Trigger shines brightest with on-field main DPS. Her omnipresent Stun Vulnerability buff delivers maximum value when enemies remain Daze, perfectly complementing extended engagement windows.

Beyond utility, she boasts 90%+ CRIT rate in practical scenarios, enabling consistent damage output. The CRIT-to-follow-up Stun conversion mechanic further elevates her role, transforming her into a hybrid sub-DPS/Stunner.

As the ultimate flex pick among off-field Stunners, Trigger effortlessly capitalizes on meta shifts. Beyond pairing with on-field DPS, her dual-electric synergy with Qingyi creates devastating Stun chains. Hugo expansion further cements Trigger's adaptability. In the ever-evolving meta, Trigger consistently emerges as the prime Stunner.

 

 

Top 1 Lighter

Lighter is specifically designed for Ice and Fire teams, the growing number of Ice and Fire main DPS characters means that there are still plenty of roles he can support.

Currently, Lighter pairs best with are Evelyn and Hugo. In addition, he can also be used with Miyabi, Ellen, or Soldier 11, giving him a wide range of team building options.

In terms of stats, Lighter can provide up to a 75% Ice and Fire DMG bonus and 15% Ice and Fire RES. After stunning, extends the enemy's Daze duration by 3 seconds, significantly raising the upper limit for main DPS characters. This is especially useful for Hugo, offers even more multiplier bonuses for his Totalize effect, resulting in a top-tier DMG increase.

 

Future T0: Ju Fufu or Lighter

Ju Fufu is the new Fire Stun in the version 2.0. Given her status as a 2.0 character, there is no doubt that she will hold a significant amount of value. However, the question remains: Is Ju Fufu better than Lighter as a T0 tier Stunner?

Unlike Lighter, who specializes in supporting only Ice and Fire DPS characters, Ju Fufu is expected to provide more generic damage buffs, including increased all allies’ all-RES, ATK, and Decibels, which means she can fit into almost any team composition. This flexibility gives her an edge over Lighter.

Ju Fufu is speculated to be an off-field stun character, similar to Trigger. This means she can build up her stun gauge efficiently while off-field, allowing her to maintain a high uptime of stun effects without interfering with the main DPS character's field time.

Given her ability to support any attribute DPS, Ju Fufu is likely to have more long-term value compared to Lighter. Ju Fufu is expected to synergize well with the new Rupture characters Yixuan in version 2.0. This could make her an essential part of future meta teams, because Yiuan was considered one of the top-tier DPS characters.
