Game Positioning
🎮Positioning: A companion-style casual masterpiece
⏰Status: Closed beta phase (first beta)
📅Platform: Mobile/PC cross-platform
*Honkai: Nexus Anima* has a warm and healing overall style with a slower-paced gameplay rhythm and no intense competitive pressure, making it more like an "electronic pet companion" game. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy exploring easter eggs and storylines, this game will definitely catch your eye!
*Honkai: Nexus Anima* = cute characters, fun bonding mechanics, great story, and plenty of Honkai magic. Give it a try!
Gameplay
Based on the current beta version, the main gameplay features include: Anima collection and development, open-world exploration and easter eggs, and auto-chess strategy battles (auto-battler).
Main Gameplay 1: Anima Collection and Development
The game features 66 Anima (first beta version), which are easy to collect early on! After 7 hours of gameplay, I’ve already collected 29 Animas—almost half! The anima designs fall into two categories:
-Q-style Cute Types: Examples include "Puddlipup," "Bunmareen," and "Mushgloomini," with their round and chubby designs that are super healing~
-Cool and Stylish Types: Examples include "Lepinamel," "Damasque," and "Faeflux," featuring exquisite details and standout styles!
**How to Collect Spirits?**
Similar to *Pokémon*, players can encounter wild spirits in the open world and "form a contract" with them after battle to capture them. Blue and purple-tier animas can be directly captured, while gold-tier (5-star) animas are currently mainly obtained through quests (it remains unknown whether a monetization mechanism will be added in the future).
Top up now at LDshop and stay one step ahead!
Anima Development System
-Level: All animas’ levels are tied to the protagonist’s level, eliminating the need for individual grinding.
-Attribute Training: Consume materials to enhance attributes. Materials are easy to obtain, making development low-pressure.
-Nexus Threads: Similar to a "weapon system," obtained through quests to provide additional abilities for spirits.
Main Gameplay 2: Open-World Exploration and Easter Eggs
Each anima possesses unique "open-world skills" that help players explore and solve puzzles:
-Puddlipup: Bounce skill to reach high places.
-Frigull: Glide skill to traverse terrain.
-Nomnom: Shatter obstacles, even demolish others’ homes to steal things (lol).
-Vulberry: Smear cake on NPCs’ faces… and surprisingly increase their favorability!
These skills are not only fun but also key to unlocking story elements. For example, after smearing an NPC’s face with Merilly, the NPC will temporarily be "blinded," allowing players to steal keys (huh?).
The map is also filled with hidden easter eggs, such as wild Pudding Pups actively licking players’ feet (super cute!). The attention to detail is full of surprises~
Main Gameplay 3: Auto-Chess Mode
Battles adopt a classic auto-chess mode:
- Players deploy animas on the lower half of the grid, and animas fight automatically (no manual control).
- Each anima has a different role (frontline tank, backline support, etc.).
- Trait System: For example, the "Treasure" trait triggers powerful buffs when 2/4/6/8 layers are stacked.
- Stellar Characters: For instance, Kiana can summon an additional Pudding Pup at the start of battle, while Blade provides revival and stun effects.
Battle strategy focuses on team composition and trait activation, with a low skill threshold suitable for casual players.
During Nexus battles, you and your opponent’s spirits enter a "semiplanar battlefield" independent of the reality plane.
Animas will automatically fight on the battlefield once deployed… Let the battle begin!
When the energy bar is full, animas will use their skills. Grant yourself a shield… and then bond!
Speculated Monetization Points
The first beta version has few monetization elements, but future versions may include:
1. Paid acquisition of gold-tier animas (currently only obtainable through quests).
2. Gacha/purchase for Stellar Characters (e.g., Blade).
3. Protagonist appearance skins (the store already showcases some paid outfits).
Conclusion
In summary, *Honkai: Nexus Anima* is suitable for these types of players!
-Those who enjoy a relaxed and healing art style and music.
-Those who love exploring easter eggs, branching storylines, and collection elements.
-Those who prefer auto-battles and strategic teams, without pursuing hardcore gameplay.
*Honkai: Nexus Anima* creates a world full of surprises with its details and humor. If you need a "after-work relaxation companion," this game is worth looking forward to!
Wishing everyone plenty of luck—may your 10-pulls yield three golds! 🎮 *Happy gaming, everyone!* 🎮
