HSR 4.4 banners are shaping up to be some of the most stacked in the game‘s history. According to multiple sources, we’re looking at three 5-star characters in a single update — including a potential free S-rank from the Fate collab.

Here‘s what the leaks are saying so far.

Note: All information is based on unofficial leaks. Final kits, banners, and release dates are subject to change by HoYoverse. Treat Fate collab details as strong rumors until official confirmation.

HSR 4.4 Banner Release Date

If you’re counting down the days, mark your calendars for August 5, 2026. This is when Version 4.4 is expected to officially launch.

However, the hype starts much sooner: Drip Marketing for Himeko SP is widely rumored for May 19th. Keep a close eye on official social media next Tuesday to see her polished splash art and confirmed path!

HSR4.4 New Characters

Himeko SP

Himeko SP HSR

The main event of 4.4 is Himeko SP, a powered-up version of the beloved Astral Express navigator. Her concept art has already leaked, and the community reaction has been overwhelmingly positive.

Leaked Kit Direction:

  • Fire element (speculated)
  • Ultimate-focused main DPS that scales with ATK
  • Strong synergy with Astral Express crew (Dan Heng, March 7th, Welt, etc.)
  • Important caveat: Not a full crew lockout — you have 1–2 flexible slots, but buffs are clearly designed around AE members
  • Best-in-slot relic set: ”Navigator” (added in 4.3), which buffs both Skill and Ultimate damage from the start of battle
  • May have a Nova-style resource system tied to her spear

The Fate Collab Part 2: Gilgamesh & Rin

Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh HSR collab

Rumored to be a Destruction unit (potentially Imaginary). Some sources suggest he might be the Free 5-Star for this collab, following the pattern of Archer in Part 1. Expect overwhelming AOE nukes with Enuma Elish

Rin Tohsaka

Likely the limited banner character. While some hoped she would be a Harmony buffer for Archer/Saber, latest whispers point toward Erudition. Using her gemstones as magical ammunition, she could be a high-damage AOE sub-DPS or carry.

Conclusion

Version 4.4 is looking like a "wallet-breaker." Whether you’re pulling for the stunning new Himeko SP or trying to complete your Fate collection with Rin and Gilgamesh, the investment in this patch is massive.

But remember: Fate collab timing has been wrong before. The “Gilgamesh free” leak is from a SUS source. Path assignments are pre-beta and can change.

What’s more certain: Himeko SP drip marketing is expected May 19th. Her relic set is already in the game. She’s coming.

Keep your pull plans flexible until the 4.4 beta starts. Subscribe for updates — and good luck, Trailblazers.
