Aeon ★ Aha is stepping onto the battlefield in Honkai: Star Rail as a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Elation. With a unique kit built around Elation, Punchline, and team-oriented mechanics, Aha can strengthen allies while contributing damage through their own abilities and special effects. Whether you are planning to pre-farm for Aha or simply want to understand how their kit works, this guide covers Aha’s skills, Traces, Eidolons, Ascension materials, and Trace materials to help you prepare your resources efficiently.
Aeon Aha Overview

Rarity: 5-star | Element: Quantum | Path: Elation
The new character has been officially introduced under the name Aeon ★ Aha, rather than simply Nihilux. Aha is a 5-star Quantum Elation character, making her another major addition to the Elation roster after characters such as Yao Guang, Sparxie, Silver Wolf LV.999, Aventurine • Waveflair, and Pearl.
The official introduction also makes her identity very clear. Aha refers to the countless masks and identities THEY have taken before declaring:
“Who is Aha? I am Aha!”
Aeon Aha Skill Priority
Skill Priority: Talent = Elation Skill > Skill = Ultimate > Basic ATK
Aeon ★ Aha’s Talent and Elation Skill should be prioritized first. Her Talent is the core of her gameplay loop, controlling Wishpower generation while also providing team-wide CRIT DMG bonuses and interacting with the enhanced Elation mechanics during Faces of Elation. Her Elation Skill is also a major source of personal damage, dealing AoE Quantum Elation DMG followed by additional True DMG based on the total damage dealt during the current Aha Instant. Combat Skills Combat Skills
Her Skill is the next priority, as it applies Emanator of Elation to one ally, increases that ally’s Elation by 20%, and triggers a Follow-up ATK. The marked ally also generates Wishpower for Aha at the start of their turns, making the Skill important for both team support and Ultimate cycling. Combat Skills
The Ultimate remains worth leveling for its AoE and bounce damage, but its main value comes from activating Faces of Elation, so it can generally be upgraded alongside the Skill. Basic ATK has the lowest priority and can be left for last. Current Beta databases likewise place Talent and Elation Skill ahead of Skill and Ultimate.
Recommended Priority:
Talent = Elation Skill > Skill = Ultimate > Basic ATKn Aha Skill Priority

Best Relics for Aha
Best: 4-Piece Dreamlit Actor

Dreamlit Actor is currently the most synergistic Relic set for Aeon ★ Aha. Its 2-Piece effect increases SPD by 6%, while the 4-Piece effect increases the Elation of an ally targeted by the wearer’s Skill. When Aha has enough Certified Banger, it can also provide additional CRIT DMG to the entire team.
This set fits Aha particularly well because her Skill naturally targets the team’s main Elation DPS with Emanator of Elation, allowing her to strengthen that character while progressing her own Wishpower cycle.
Alternative: 4-Piece Diviner of Distant Reach
Diviner of Distant Reach is a strong alternative for a more SPD- and personal-damage-oriented build. It provides 6% SPD from the 2-Piece bonus, grants additional CRIT Rate at the 120/160 SPD thresholds, and increases all allies’ Elation after the wearer uses their first Elation Skill in battle.
It becomes particularly attractive if you can comfortably push Aha toward 160 SPD, as this allows her to obtain the full CRIT Rate bonus while acting more frequently.
Support Alternative: Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal

Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal can also work as a support-focused alternative. Its 4-Piece effect increases the CRIT DMG of an ally targeted by the wearer’s Skill or Ultimate, which synergizes with Aha repeatedly using her Skill on the team’s primary Elation damage dealer.
Relic Priority:
Dreamlit Actor > Diviner of Distant Reach > Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal
Best Planar Ornaments
Best: God’s Moment of Joy
God’s Moment of Joy is currently Aha’s strongest Planar Ornament option. It increases SPD by 6% and, when the wearer reaches at least 40% Elation, immediately advances their action by 40% upon entering combat.
Both effects are highly valuable for Aha. More SPD means more actions, faster Wishpower generation, and easier access to her important SPD breakpoints, while the opening Action Advance lets her apply Emanator of Elation earlier.
Alternative: Broken Keel
Broken Keel is a good team-oriented alternative. It provides Effect RES and, after reaching 30% Effect RES, grants 10% CRIT DMG to all allies. This sacrifices some of Aha’s personal tempo in exchange for additional team utility.
Alternative: Sprightly Vonwacq
Sprightly Vonwacq can be used when opening turn order is especially important, as reaching 120 SPD provides the same 40% initial Action Advance. However, its Energy Regeneration Rate bonus is less valuable for Aha in the current Beta because her Ultimate is activated through 8 Wishpower rather than conventional Energy. Beebom
For this reason, God’s Moment of Joy is generally the cleaner fit for her current kit.
Planar Priority:
God’s Moment of Joy > Broken Keel / Sprightly Vonwacq
Main Stats and Substats
Aha’s current Beta build focuses heavily on SPD and CRIT, rather than conventional ATK scaling. Current build databases recommend CRIT Rate Body, SPD Feet, HP Planar Sphere, and DEF Link Rope.
|
Relic Slot |
Recommended Main Stat |
|
Body |
CRIT Rate |
|
Feet |
SPD |
|
Planar Sphere |
HP% |
|
Link Rope |
DEF% |
Substat Priority:
SPD > CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > HP% / DEF%
SPD is especially important because Aha has a major Trace breakpoint tied directly to it. At 125 SPD, her Elation increases by 120%, while reaching 150 SPD raises that bonus to 150%. Combat Skills
For that reason, 150 SPD should be treated as a major build target. If you are using Diviner of Distant Reach, pushing further toward 160 SPD can also activate the maximum CRIT Rate bonus from the Relic set.
Unlike conventional Quantum DPS characters, Aha’s current kit deals Quantum Elation DMG, and Elation damage uses its own scaling system rather than relying primarily on regular ATK% and DMG% buffs. This is why current Beta recommendations favor defensive Sphere and Rope main stats while obtaining damage through Elation, SPD, and CRIT instead.
Best Aha Teams
Aeon ★ Aha is designed primarily around Elation teams. Her biggest synergy comes from enhancing the Path of Elation itself during Faces of Elation, improving the team’s Punchline-related mechanics and enabling additional benefits during Aha Instants. Combat Skills
Premium Elation Team
|
Sparxie
|
Aeon ★ Aha
|
Yao Guang
|
Pearl
|
This is one of the most natural full-Elation compositions for Aha based on the current Beta. Sparxie acts as the primary damage dealer, Aha provides Elation amplification and additional damage, Yao Guang improves the team’s Elation and Aha Instant cycle, while Pearl occupies the sustain slot. Current pre-release team testing and guides repeatedly use this four-character core.
Aha should generally apply Emanator of Elation to Sparxie in this setup. The state increases the selected ally’s Elation by 20%, while every turn taken by that ally generates one Wishpower for Aha. Combat Skills
Silver Wolf LV.999 Team
|
Silver Wolf LV.999
|
Aeon ★ Aha
|
Yao Guang
|
Pearl
|
Silver Wolf LV.999 can take the main DPS slot instead of Sparxie. Aha supports her through Emanator of Elation and the enhanced Elation mechanics activated by Faces of Elation, while Yao Guang and Pearl complete the Elation core. This lineup is also appearing frequently in early V1 testing, although exact comparisons between the Silver Wolf and Sparxie versions are still developing.
Conclusion
That covers Aeon ★ Aha’s skills and materials in Honkai: Star Rail. With a distinctive Elation-focused kit that combines team support with personal damage, Aha is shaping up to be an important character for Elation-based teams. If you are planning to pull for and build Aha, you can start preparing the required Ascension and Trace materials in advance.
