HSR Currency Wars 4.0 Update: New Characters & Mechanics

Currency Wars in Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.0  introduces the "Expert Adviser" mechanic, revolutionizing the recruitment meta with powerful units. With the level cap raised to 110 and new high-difficulty ranks, you can explore fresh strategies using the newly debuted characters: The Dahlia, Yao Guang, and Sparxie. New Content & Mechanics

New Character Roster:

The Dahlia, Yao Guang, and Sparxie join as new employees, immediately available to provide a fresh combat experience after the version update.

New Rewards:

Added "Expected Returns" and "Bond Links" content. Completing these provides Relic Remains, Travel Encounters, and Stellar Jades.

Expert Advisers：

Version 4.0 introduces the Expert Adviser. These powerful units change the recruitment meta:

• Expert Advisers do not appear in the normal shop initially. You can unlock them through specific investment environments (start of run), investment strategies  (after combat node), or the new Expert Invitation Letter loot.
• Once unlocked for the current match, they can be purchased, star-leveled, and geared like normal employees, retaining their original Bonds.
• Each Expert Adviser has exclusive investment effects. For example, Qingque can be added to the shop via the "Jade Expert" strategy, appearing with three random Stellar Jade.
• Confirmed Advisers: Gallagher, Tingyun, and Qingque will officially become Expert Advisers in 4.0.

Level Cap Increase:

The Promotion Level limit has been expanded to Level 110. Ranking up will reward players with Self-Modeling Resin, Stellar Jades, and more.

Higher Stakes:

The maximum rank difficulty has been raised to A8 Wealth Creator 30.

Balance & Adjustments:

• Character Buffs: Sparkle and Black Swan are confirmed to receive buffs.
• Aha (Aventurine) Adjustments: New Elation Skill "Mega Influencer" linked to crystal ores.
• Character Cost Adjustments: Huohuo (2-Cost → 1-Cost); Lingsha (4-Cost → 2-Cost)
