Rarity: 5-star | Element: Physical | Path: Preservation

Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae is a unique Preservation Path character whose shielding capability scales with his ATK instead of DEF. His core mechanics revolve around designating a "Bondmate" and summoning the "Souldragon."

Shielding & Survival: His Skill, Terra Omnibus, designates an ally as the "Bondmate" and provides all allies with a stackable Shield based on his ATK. His Ultimate, A Dragon's Zenith Knows No Rue, deals AoE Physical DMG and also grants a similar stackable Shield to the entire team. The shields from his Skill, Ultimate, and Talent can stack, providing robust team-wide protection.

Support Capabilities: His Talent, Of Virtue, Forms Unfold, summons the "Souldragon" for the "Bondmate." When the Souldragon acts, it dispels one debuff from all allies and provides an additional stackable Shield. Upon using his Ultimate, the Souldragon becomes enhanced; its next actions will trigger a Follow-up ATK against all enemies, dealing Physical DMG plus Additional DMG based on the "Bondmate's" ATK and DMG Type.

Team Value: He possesses exceptional synergy with Sunday. Sunday's Skill requires an ally to have a Summon to maximize its DMG bonus, a condition perfectly met by Tengxiao's "Souldragon." This interaction allows Sunday to achieve his full 80% DMG increase, significantly boosting the output of a main DPS like Phainon.

 

Eidolons and Light Cone Pulling Advice

The Value of Eidolons

E0: It is highly recommended for all players to claim the free copy. At E0, he is already a fully functional and top-tier sustain unit. This is sufficient for most players.

E1 (The Best Value): His E1 is unequivocally the best upgrade, offering greater value than his signature Light Cone. It provides 1 extra Skill Point when he uses his Ultimate and grants RES PEN for his "Bondmate," which significantly boosts damage. For any player considering investment, the path is clear: E1S0 > E0S1.

E2: This is a solid upgrade that increases the damage dealt by the Souldragon and the shield strength it provides.

E4: This Eidolon is largely ineffective. The effect, "Bondmate" takes 20% less DMG, is of very little practical value in most combat scenarios.

E6: While powerful, it lacks cost-effectiveness for the immense investment required. Its effects are: All enemies take 20% increased DMG; the "Bondmate" ignores 12% of the enemy's DEF; and when Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae uses his Ultimate, the "Bondmate" deals one instance of DMG to all enemies.

When the wearer uses Ultimate, restores HP equal to 10% of the wearer’s ATK for all allies, and additionally restores HP equal to 10% of the wearer’s ATK for the character with the lowest current HP, and grants “Redoubt” to all allies for 3 turn(s). Targets with “Redoubt” deal 24% increased DMG, which further increases by 12% if the targets have summons.

Analysis & Advice: Not recommended for most players to pull specifically for. While it is his BiS (Best-in-Slot) and provides a stronger shield, healing, and team-wide DMG boost, Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae's base kit already offers excellent survival. The offensive buffs (ATK and DMG Boost) are multiplicative that are often diluted and readily available from other sources. For the cost of one guaranteed 'pity,' the power increase is not essential. It is wiser to secure his E1 or save Jade for future characters.

Light Cone Alternatives:

A key principle for his Light Cone selection is that a high base ATK stat is often more valuable than the passive effect of a standard Preservation cone that doesn't synergize with his ATK-scaling kit.

T1 (Premium Replacements): Use his signature "Though Worlds Apart" or Aventurine's signature "Inherently Unjust Destiny".

T2 (Excellent & Accessible): The new Nameless Honor Battle Pass Light Cone, "Journey, Forever Peaceful", is a strong and readily available option.

T3 (High Base ATK Stat Sticks): Use any non-Preservation Light Cone with a high base ATK (approximately 550 or higher), such as "Brighter Than the Sun". Standard Preservation cones like "Moment of Victory" or "Texture of Memories" offer effects that are largely useless for him; their low ATK stat makes them inferior to a high-ATK cone from another Path.

T4 (Starter Option): New players can obtain "We Are Wildfire" from the Forgotten Hall Store.

Specialized Team Cases

For Acheron Teams (without Jiaoqiu): In this specific scenario, "Trend of the Universal Market" becomes his best-in-slot option for efficiently stacking Acheron's Ultimate.

For a Niche DoT Team Build: A specialized build focuses on stacking 75% Effect Hit Rate to trigger Kafka's Talent, which grants him a 100% ATK boost that he can then share with his "Bondmate"(like Hysilens). While "Moment of Victory" can help reach the Effect Hit Rate threshold, it is ultimately stronger to use a higher-base-ATK cone (like "Brighter Than the Sun") and meet the requirement through relic substats.
