What is the Rule and Mechanics in Kingshot Castle Battle?
Core Battle Rules
Only one structure can be occupied at a time: Each player may control only one location during the battle, whether it is a turret or the King’s Castle. Once you enter one structure, you cannot occupy another at the same time.
Only one march may stay in the castle: The King’s Castle can hold just one march from a player at any given moment.
Defenders can adjust their position: Players defending a structure are allowed to withdraw their troops and send them back in again to refresh or reposition their garrison.
Rally limitation: If a player has troops involved in a rally against the castle, they cannot send extra solo marches until that rally has finished.
Turret Mechanics
Castle Battle is not only about attacking the King’s Castle. Controlling the four Turrets is just as important. When an enemy alliance controls a Turret, it fires on troops inside the King’s Castle. Each Turret can cause about 2% casualties per attack cycle, and if all four Turrets are enemy-controlled, the pressure can reach around 8% per cycle. Turret attack intervals also become shorter over time, starting at around 4 minutes and speeding up to about 1 minute.
Forbidden Zone Rules
The area around the King’s Castle is known as the Forbidden Zone. Before the battle officially begins, this area is controlled by special restrictions.
If you teleport into the Forbidden Zone too early, your city may be randomly moved away, and any active shields will be removed. To avoid this, it is safer to wait until roughly 30–60 minutes before the Castle Battle starts before teleporting near the castle.
Once the shield protecting the King’s Castle disappears, the battle officially opens. At that point, players can attack, defend, and fight freely within their own kingdom.
How to Win in Kingshot Castle Battle?
There are two ways to win the Kingshot Castle Battle
Hold the Castle Continuously
If one alliance manages to occupy the King’s Castle for 3 hours without interruption, that alliance wins the battle immediately.
Have the Longest Total Occupation Time
If no alliance successfully holds the castle for 3 straight hours, the final winner will be decided when the 6-hour event timer ends. In this case, the alliance with the highest total accumulated occupation time will claim victory.
What is the Optimised Strategy in Kingshot Castle Battle?
Recommended Troop Formations
For attacking the King’s Castle or Turrets, the commonly recommended formation is:

This setup is suitable for both rally leaders and rally joiners and is considered a balanced attack formation.
For defending or garrisoning a structure

This keeps all three troop types active and helps avoid wasting hero skill bonuses tied to specific troop types.

Shield Forge (Infantry) |

|
Lance Forge (Cavalry) |

Rally Timing Strategy
Mid-power alliances can defeat stronger players by landing several rallies almost at the same time. The best timing gap is 1–5 seconds, giving the defender no time to reinforce, heal, or adjust troops.
|
Steps |
Details |
|
Assign roles first |
Choose leaders before the attack: Rally 1: sacrifice / troop drain Rally 2: main attack Rally 3: optional garrison follow-up |
|
Rally 1 — Drain Rally |
Use high-lethality heroes such as Chenko, Amadeus, and Yeonwoo. Recommended formation: 50/20/30. This rally may lose, but its purpose is to weaken the defender. |
|
Rally 2 — Main Rally |
Your strongest player should lead this rally. Use the same 50/20/30 formation. This is the rally meant to capture the castle. |
|
Rally 3 — Optional Hold Rally |
Send this right after Rally 2 if you want to secure the structure. Use garrison heroes such as Gordon and Saul. Recommended formation: 60/20/20. |
|
Coordinate with UTC time |
Set an exact UTC launch time and use voice chat to count down. Rally leaders should stand close to the castle to reduce march time differences. |
|
Cancel if timing is off |
If rallies land more than 5 seconds apart, cancel and try again. A larger gap gives the defender time to recover. |
Healing and Hospital Management
In Castle Battle, attacking castle structures usually does not cause permanent troop deaths as long as your Hospital does not overflow. If the Hospital is full, 30% of incoming wounded troops may be permanently lost, while the remaining 70% go to the Enlistment Office and can be recovered with Loyalty points. Therefore, players should clear their Hospital before battle and use continuous batch healing during the fight.
Strategy for Smaller Alliances and F2P Players
If your alliance cannot realistically contest the King’s Castle directly, focus on Turrets instead. Holding or attacking Turrets can still generate event points and disrupt the enemy’s castle garrison. Smaller alliances and F2P players should focus on three things: fighting for Turrets, using continuous batch healing, and joining structure battles to reach milestone rewards.
How to Earn Points
Castle Battle points mainly come from fighting inside event structures, including attacking and defending the King’s Castle or Turrets. Points are connected to wounding enemy troops, taking casualties, and garrisoning structures. Simply holding a structure without combat usually does not generate a high score. Rewards are generally divided into milestone rewards and ranking rewards: milestone rewards are sent by in-game mail when reached, while ranking rewards are distributed based on the final leaderboard.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Common mistakes include teleporting into the Forbidden Zone too early, ignoring Turrets, letting the Hospital overflow, wasting healing speedups, launching poorly timed rallies, failing to refill the garrison immediately after capture, and neglecting the preparation phase in KvK. Above all, players should remember that Turrets are a core strategic element of Castle Battle, not a secondary objective.
Conclusion
This is all the information about Kingshot Castle Battle, Winning Kingshot Castle Battle is not only about power. The real keys are turret control, rally timing, garrison refill, batch healing, and alliance coordination. Strong alliances can capture the castle with synchronized multi-rallies, while smaller alliances and F2P players can still earn strong rewards by fighting for Turrets, healing continuously, and staying active in structure battles.
