Hello everyone and welcome to this Kingshot Tier List!
With Generation 6 heroes now entering older kingdoms, the top end of the meta has changed once again. Some longtime staples still deserve a place among the best heroes in the game, but the latest Mythic releases have clearly raised the ceiling for Cavalry, Infantry, and Archer teams. In this updated Kingshot tier list, we rank heroes based on their overall value across game modes, including Conquest performance, Expedition usefulness, consistency, team utility, and long-term investment potential.
Kingshot Hero Tier List
Before diving into the tier list, you first need to understand how hero generations work in Kingshot. The heroes available on your account depend on your server age, with new generations gradually unlocking as the kingdom gets older. In general, newer heroes are released every 70 to 80 days, and each new generation tends to bring stronger stats, better widgets, and more impactful skills. That also means a hero who feels dominant on an early-generation server may fall off once later generations enter the game. With Generation 6 heroes now appearing on kingdoms around 350 to 360 days old, the top end of the meta has expanded even further.
That is why this tier list covers heroes from Gen 1 through Gen 6, giving players on both newer and older servers a clearer idea of which heroes are still worth building in the current meta.

Heroes are ranked according to their overall strength, long-term usefulness, and overall impact across Conquest and Expedition. In general, newer generations tend to have stronger stats and more complete kits, but a few older heroes still remain top-tier because of exceptional utility, scaling, or teamwide buffs. Generation 6 first released on February 16, 2026, which is why the upper end of the meta has shifted again.

Detail introduction
Tips: We have to claims that upgrading all characters evenly is effective, but the truth is that concentrating resources on cultivating main characters is far more efficient. It is recommended to select 3–4 core characters for priority development, ensuring the team maintains a stable growth trajectory. A standard early-game team composition consists of 1 Infantry unit, 2 cavalry units, and 2 archer units. When it comes to hero skills, avoid haphazard investments—instead, choose one hero for each class (Infantry, cavalry, archer) and focus all upgrades on these selected characters for the most reliable progression.
S+ Tier Heroes
|
Triton |
Combat |
Infantry |
Triton is the strongest hero of Generation 6 and one of the best overall frontline units in Kingshot right now. What makes him so oppressive is how complete his kit is: Tidewill gives him 2 seconds of invulnerability before dealing 140% AoE damage, Regal Wrath boosts his Attack by 24% and Defense by 48% for 4 seconds, and Striking Hit adds 28% extra damage to a random enemy on every normal attack. On the Expedition side, he also boosts total squad Defense by 25%, total squad skill damage by 30%, and gives Infantry +20% Health plus Cavalry and Archer +30% Health, which is why he feels like such a safe long-term investment.
|
Amadeus |
Combat |
Infantry |
Amadeus is an Infantry Hero for the P2W Players after vip7, he has a really high HP and solid skills dealing with the enemies, and boosts HP and Lethality by up to 15% even when not deployed. Even in a Gen 1 to Gen 6 environment, Amadeus remains one of the best Infantry heroes in the game.
The undisputed king of offense. Despite being from Generation 1, Amadeus remains a top-tier pick for an astonishing five generations thanks to his perfect offensive skill set (Lethality Up, Attack Up) and, most importantly, his unique offensive infantry widget. No other infantry hero offers this offensive rally boost, making him a permanent fixture in the best attacking marches.
|
Vivian |
Combat |
Archer |
Vivian is a Mythic-quality Generation 5 Hero in Kingshot, classified under the Archer class. You can unlock her through the Hall of Heroes and Swordland Showdown Shop.
A revolutionary offensive powerhouse. Vivian isn't just an upgrade; she's a new strategic cornerstone. Her expedition skill, Crouching Tiger, permanently increases all enemy damage taken by 25%, amplifying your entire army's damage. Combined with the systematic burst damage from Focus Fire, she is the ultimate offensive support and damage dealer rolled into one, making her essential for any end-game player.
|
Jabel |
Combat |
Cavalry |
If you are a F2P player, don’t miss the SSR Hero Jabel! You could acquire the character for 2 gold keys or several bucks. She has a great balance of defensive skills and then offensive skills. Though she’s a hero from gen1, we could not underestimate her strong skills as an Cavalry.
|
Zoe |
Combat |
Infantry |
Zoe, a Gen 2 Infantry hero, is F2P-friendly via Hero Roulette and one of the best long-term F2P-friendly Infantry heroes from the early generations.. With 40% HP heal & tankiness, she’s a meta Garrison hero with defensive ATK buffs. Her skills deal AoE damage & enemy debuff for squad offensive edge. Tough in Suppression with burst damage, her Sundering Wound boosts Expedition damage, making her a reliable mid-late game frontline, strong in Conquest & Expedition.
|
Marlin |
Combat |
Archer |
Marlin, a Gen 2 hero, remains one of the best long-term Archer investments from the early generations and absolutely deserves his S+ placement. His value comes from having both damage and control in the same kit: Wild Card gives all squads a 40% chance to increase damage dealt by 50%, Rumhead gives all squads a 20% chance to reduce total enemy Lethality by 50% for 2 turns when attacking, and Dynamo gives your squads’ attacks a 50% chance to increase damage dealt by 50%. That kind of teamwide damage support is exactly why Marlin continues to hold up so well even in a later-generation meta.
|
Helga |
Combat |
Infantry |
Helga is one of the rare Generation 1 heroes who still deserves a top-tier ranking in the current meta. She stays relevant because her kit is useful both on the field and in team-based setups: Fury gives her a 10% chance to increase Attack by 12% for 3 seconds when taking damage, stacking up to 5 times, while her Expedition skills are even more valuable, with Oath of Guardian giving all squads a 40% chance to reduce damage taken by 50%, Echoes of Valhalla increasing total squad Attack by 25%, and Nature’s Balance increasing total squad Lethality by 25%. For an older Infantry hero, that amount of team utility is exactly why Helga still belongs in S+.
|
Alcar |
Combat |
Infantry |
Alcar is the strongest hero of Generation 4 and one of the few mid-generation heroes who still feels elite in the current meta. His kit has both frontline staying power and real pressure: Boneshatter deals 98% line damage and increases enemy damage taken by 20% for 2 seconds, while Second Wind lets Glorious Mark restore 42% Health every second for 5 seconds. In Expedition, he is just as impressive, reducing Infantry and Archer damage taken by 70% every 5 turns for 2 turns, increasing Infantry damage dealt by 100%, and adding 60% extra Infantry damage per attack while also making the target take 25% more damage for 1 turn. That mix of sustain, debuffing, and class support is why Alcar still feels like an S+ hero.
S Tier Heroes
|
Thrud |
Combat |
Cavalry |
Thrud is a Mythic-quality Generation 5 Hero in Kingshot, classified under the Cavalry class. You can unlock her through Daily Deals, Hero Rally, Strongest Governor, and the Kingdom of Power event.
The ultimate force multiplier for cavalry mains. Thrud's power lies in her ability to elevate your entire army. Her skill, Ancestral Guidance, cyclically increases all squads' damage dealt and reduces their damage taken by 25%. Paired with Battle Hunger, which buffs Infantry and Archers, she is not just a damage dealer but a strategic support hero that makes the already-dominant cavalry build utterly unstoppable. A must-have for spenders and cavalry-focused players.
|
Hilde |
Combat |
Cavalry |
Currently, Hilde has the strongest offensive skill in the game. Not only has she the strongest output but also the healing skill as an sub-sustain unit. During Expeditions, Elixir of Strength boosts squad attack, granting her a utility advantage beyond simple healing. Therefore, we put her in S-Tier and Strongly recommend to you.
|
Margot |
Combat |
Cavalry |
The arena dominator. Margot is an offensive beast with powerful Area-of-Effect damage and a skill that allows her to dodge all damage. Her expedition skills are also top-tier. While her defensive widget is a slight mismatch for her offensive kit, her raw power makes her a premier choice for players who prioritize arena performance.
|
Yang |
Combat |
Archer |
Yang is one of the strongest late-game Archer heroes in Kingshot and easily one of the best ranged picks from Generation 6. His kit is built for burst and follow-up pressure: Combo gives him a 35% chance to fire an extra round of damage, Deadshot gives him 15% Crit Rate, and in Expedition, Avalanche causes all squads to land an additional strike every 4 turns for 100% damage. On top of that, Ice Zone gives Yang’s Archers a 40% chance to deal 100% extra damage with every attack, which is a huge reason he feels so dangerous in older-server Archer teams.
|
Sophia |
Combat |
Cavalry |
Sophia is one of the best new Cavalry heroes and immediately feels relevant on older kingdoms. Her Conquest kit already does a lot on its own: Puppet Master deals 140% AoE damage and confuses enemies for 1 second, Scalding Mark deals 70% damage and makes the target take 6% more damage for 4 seconds, and Scalding Mark – Lash boosts Sophia’s Attack by 24% while letting her deal 12% increased damage to marked targets. In Expedition, she also brings a 40% chance to reduce all squad damage taken by 50% every turn and makes terrified targets take 75% increased damage from all squads, which is why she fits so well into high-end Cavalry teams.
A+ Tier Heroes
|
Eric |
Combat |
Infantry |
With exceptionally high base stats, he consistently outshines lower-generation heroes, making him a top-tier choice for players seeking reliable performance across various game modes. His dominance as a meta garrison hero stems from his overpowered defensive buffs and debuffs, which significantly enhance squad survivability and disrupt enemy offenses during defensive setups. Together, these attributes solidify his status as a go-to option for both stat-driven superiority and strategic garrison gameplay.
|
Howard |
Combat |
Infantry |
As a Gen 1 Infantry hero,he boasts solid defensive skills, reducing troop damage taken by 20% and debuffing enemy damage dealt, making him a reliable garrison leader or joiner thanks to his defensive Expedition buffs. As the best non-SSR Infantry option, he shines in Arena/PvP with high DEF and decent AoE, serving as a crucial frontline choice for players without VIP-exclusive heroes like Helga or Amadeus. While he’s a strong A-tier pick for early servers, his stats and Conquest Skills can’t compete with SSR heroes in later generations.
|
Rosa |
Combat |
Archer |
The arena queen and versatile supporter. Rosa's arena skill, which makes all squads immune to debuffs like stun, is game-changing. In expeditions, she provides reliable, non-chance-based damage amplification and reduction. Obtainable from the Wheel, she is a must-get for players of all types due to her immense versatility.
|
Quinn |
Combat |
Archer |
While he delivers strong damage in Suppression and works for early Expedition on new servers, his viability drops later. As an SR archer, he shines as a solid offensive rally lead with DEF and DMG buffs from his Expedition Skills, plus decent single-target DPS in PvP/Conquest. One of the easiest SR heroes to star up and upgrade early, Quinn is still a decent short-term investment for younger servers.
|
Long Fei |
Combat |
Infantry |
The new defensive contender. Long Fei is a powerful defensive hero with skills like Mighty Paragon (chance to reduce all damage taken by 50%). He is a solid A+ Tier hero but is placed in T2 as he is often seen as the premier defensive option for those who do not have or have not fully invested in Eric, representing the top end of this category.
A Tier Heroes
|
Petra |
Combat |
Cavalry |
Petra is still a strong Cavalry hero, but in the current Gen 1 to Gen 6 landscape she fits better in A tier than among the very top standouts. Her Expedition kit is still strong and very luck-dependent: Evil Eye gives all squads a 50% chance to curse the target and increase its damage taken by 50%, The Favor gives a 50% chance to increase squad Attack by 50%, and The Shield gives a 40% chance to reduce damage taken by 50% for all squads. Those effects are powerful when they trigger, but the heavy reliance on chance-based value is exactly why Petra no longer feels as reliable as the strongest top-tier Cavalry heroes.
|
Jaeger |
Combat |
Archer |
Jaeger is still a useful Archer hero, but he fits better in A tier than in the very top ranks of the current meta. His Expedition kit is solid: The Tempest gives a 20% chance to increase squad damage dealt by 40% for 3 turns, The Resistance gives all squads a 20% chance to reduce total enemy Lethality by 50% for 2 turns when attacking, and The Celebration increases total squad Health by 25%. That makes him dependable, but compared with newer heroes and the current top-tier Archers, he no longer feels dominant enough to sit any higher.
B+ Tier Heroes
|
Saul |
Combat |
Archer |
Saul lands on the B+ tier, but he’s a total budget hero—grab him via the $1 starter pack or Hero Roulette, making him super F2P-friendly! He’s an early-game star for base builders, offering +15% construction speed, -15% costs, and the game’s best Growth bonuses. He also holds his own in garrison or defensive rallies with DEF/HP/ATK buffs. But here’s the catch: you’ll need 4 Stars to unlock his full Growth potential, and his lackluster stats mean he gets outclassed fast. Still, for new players needing quick base boosts, he’s a solid short-term pick!
|
Amane |
Combat |
Archer |
Ammane plays as a meta offensive rally joiner, offering a +25% Attack buff and a massive +50% Infirmary Healing Speed boost, making her a must-upgrade SR to 4 Stars early for PvE content. While her healing and support are valuable in rallies and bear fights, she falls short in Conquest and Arena, as Lethality-focused SRs like Chenko and Yeonwoo outperform her in those modes. Though she’s a solid early-game asset, her single useful PvP/PvE skill and inferior stats compared to SSR heroes relegate her to a lower tier, landing her comfortably in B+ tier for her niche but limited versatility.
|
Yeonwoo |
Combat |
Archer |
Yeonwoo is a standout SR hero, serving as a meta offensive rally joiner with her +25% Lethality buff while also offering a valuable +15% Research Speed buff for base optimization. She’s a top early-game pick, decent in Arena and Conquest until you unlock stronger SSRs, and one of the most critical SRs to upgrade to 4 Stars early. While her lethality makes her useful in rallies, her research-focused skill limits her utility in high-stakes PvP, and she ultimately falls short of SSR heroes in stats and Conquest Skills, solidifying her as a reliable but niche B+ tier choice.
|
Chenko |
Combat |
Cavalry |
Chenko, a fan-favorite SR hero, stands out as a meta offensive rally joiner thanks to her +25% Lethality buff, making her a top pick among purple rarity heroes. While she boasts a solid mix of one offensive and one defensive skill, her lack of a third ability (common in legendary heroes) limits her to B+ tier, even though she’s one of the most crucial SRs to upgrade to 4 Stars early. Though she shines in rally support, she falls short of other DPS SR heroes in Conquest and Arena, and her stats and Conquest Skills can’t compete with SSR counterparts.
|
Diana |
Combat |
Archer |
Diana is more of a utility pick than a real combat carry, so she is mainly useful for early progression rather than long-term investment. Her kit is pretty straightforward: Incendiary Arrows deals 290% damage to the main target and 98% splash damage to nearby enemies, while Sharpshooter adds 30% Attack Speed and Deadly Strike gives her 20% Crit Rate.
B Tier Heroes
|
B Tier |
||
|
Gordon |
Olive |
Seth |
|
Cavalry |
Archer |
Infantry |
Characters in Tier B generally offer limited combat utility and are not worth long-term investment. Their skills lean more toward resource production during base construction or supporting frontline combat, so they won’t be elaborated on further here. For character development and gameplay, you’re advised to prioritize referring to the tier guides mentioned above.
