The new game of Kingshot has been published several months, when you hit town center Lv.19 it's time to get Oasis Island unlocked. This is a new system in Kingshot.

LDShop has summarized the island work mechanism, game tips when you build up your island to purchasing decorations and list 2 misconceptions to avoid some common mistakes when you are in your game journey , which helps you to quickly get started with the game system.

 

How the Island Works

 

You can collect the resource called water essence and with the water essence you basically have to buy better buildings to increase your island prosperity and you need to increase your island prosperity to upgrade your fountain.

As your prosperity grows it will allow you to upgrade your fountain further which unlocks new building types.

In addition to providing prosperity some buildings will provide buffs to your overall Kingshot game and these buffs are huge to support your game.

We can send resources from our main game to build decorations but these types are more for cosmetic and do not contribute to prosperity. It is hopeful to expect future events to start providing rewards that can enhance the building of island from mythic general decoration components up to and including unique limited time buildings.

 

Tip1—Considering decoration valued dense

At the very start of our island we will have choices to buy green 2,000 essence decorations that give us 100 prosperity or gray 1,000 essence decorations that give us 50 prosperity.

But please note, we should consider our space constrained before clearing enough cacti.

So, items that are more valued dense for their size should take priority.

For example,

• 1x1 green item >a 2x2 green item.
• 1x1 green item > 1x1 gray item.

 

Tip2—Try to buy more cheaper decoration to complete mission

Buying cheaper decorations first, this is important because there is one quest that rewards us additional essence based on the number of items that we buy from the shop.

With cheaper items, we can complete this quest sooner and reinvest that essence into our island to advance quicker.

It seems a little bit different with tip1, but we can consider comprehensive based on our island space.

 

Tip3—Upgrade your reservoir to lv.4 as soon as possible

Upgrade our reservoir to lv.4 as quickly as possible.

This is a major point that gets us second worker effectively doubling the cactus clearing speed and essence acquisition.

 

Misconception 1— Building copy decoration is not helpful to your island

Building copies can cosmetic our island, but it does not actually give us the related bonuses or prosperity.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that it's just cheaper to build copies of a

building to stack its bonuses. However, this will lead to wasted essence and not actually adding to our island's value.

 

Misconception 2— Excessively decorating your island in early stage is not advisable

Excessively decorating island in early stage is not a good choice.

In early stage, it makes us more space constrained for things we need to build up new buildings. What’s more, it's possible that we can accidentally drain a lot of resources building things that we need for upgrading buildings or advancing in Kingshot.
