Hey, Commanders! The highly anticipated highlight updates for the first week of April 2026 have officially dropped. Following the latest maintenance notes from Staff Officer Monica, the server is rolling out a massive patch designed to bring smoother, more rewarding, and highly optimized gameplay to your screens.
Whether you are pushing the new Frontline Breakthrough difficulties, strategizing in the Goldvein War, or looking to maximize your event rallies, this update has something for everyone. Let’s dive into the complete breakdown of what's changing on the battlefield!

Combat & Stage Updates
New Frontline Breakthrough Stages
The Frontline Breakthrough mode is getting a much-needed difficulty overhaul. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, the mode now features three distinct difficulty levels:
- Prologue: Perfect for newer players testing their setups.

- Hard: For the standard mid-game challenge.

- Nightmare: For veteran commanders looking to push their combat power to the absolute limits.

Clear the District Improvements
During the deployment phase of Clear the District stages, new tips and quick navigation features for hero upgrades have been added, making it much easier to prep your squads before diving into the action.
Event Optimizations
Goldvein War Enhancements
If you love this PvPvE game mode, these tweaks will make your battles far more structured:
- Faction Expedition Tasks & Rewards: Clear objectives and incentives have been added so you know exactly what to do and what you'll earn.

- Delayed Lower Building Unlocks: Buildings in the lower part of the battlefield will now only unlock after 20 minutes. This prevents early snowballing and creates a more balanced battle flow.
- World Map UI Upgrades: Added icon descriptions and a Destruction Points progress display right on the World Map.

- Gameplay Instructions: New step-by-step event instructions have been added to help all players understand the mode easily.

Muster for Battle Upgrades
Rally leaders, rejoice! The Muster for Battle event just got much more lucrative:

- Increased Rewards: The task [Complete 5 Event Rallies] now grants better rewards.
- New First Kill Mechanism: You will now receive a First Kill reward after initiating a rally and successfully taking down a target monster for the first time. You can get these for each target monster level, and the records will reset every season!
March Speed Overhaul
The devs have heavily optimized marching speed and buffs across multiple key scenarios:
- Faster Base Marches: The base march speed for attacking Resource Tiles and traveling to repair outposts has been significantly increased.
- Neutral Building Buff Swap: In battlefields, when marching to neutral buildings, your effective march buff has been changed from [Increase March Speed against Players] to [March Speed against Cities]. Make sure to adjust your research and hero setups accordingly!
- Bug Fixes: Fixed issues where march speed buffs were incorrectly applied when marches/rallies returned in certain scenarios, or when using the [Removing Ruins] command.

UI, Quality of Life, & Bug Fixes
The developers have also sneaked in some fantastic Quality of Life (QoL) updates to clean up your UI and inventory management:
- Smart Decoration Sorting: In decoration selection chests, items will now be arranged logically: [Not Owned] ➔ [Owned but Not Max Level] ➔ [Max Level].
- Detailed Power Displays: When your Power changes, you can now toggle between seeing the simple total Power change value or a detailed breakdown of exactly why your Power changed.
- Simplified Mode: The marking style for Simplified Mode has been visually optimized.
- Localization: Fixed the translation of the term [Returning] for shop items in certain languages.
- Bug Fixes: Fixed the background display issue on the PC version's Honorable Campaign interface, and corrected an issue where the Lucky Gift's luckiest player system message/nickname was displaying incorrectly.
Conclusion
Overall, the April Week 1 update is a fantastic patch that directly addresses player feedback. With smarter UI sorting, much-needed event buffs, and major march speed fixes, managing your base and troops is going to feel faster and more rewarding than ever.
