Last War Survival Season 1 Overview (New Map, New Resource, New Rules)

Season 1 of Last War Survival is titled “The Crimson Plague”. Season 1 brings various changes to the game. Now, we are not just expanding the base and fighting the zombies, but we need to compete with others for the cities, resources, and the map territories. The World Map changes in this season, new resources are available, and new rules are made, which affect the capturing and control of territories by the alliance.

Introduction to Last War Survival Season 1

Season 1 has been given the title of The Crimson Plague. It is the first big expansion of the Last War world. In this season, a deadly virus is spreading throughout the newly upgraded world map, and the alliance needs to survive the new mechanics to resist the virus, new resources, and the war for the territory.

In this season, managing the resources, resisting the virus, and expanding the alliance with proper coordination are very important. This virus is spreading due to the Crimson Queen and her Mutants; the alliance needs to survive the Plague brought on by the Queen on the World of Last War.

New Rules in Season 1

The Alliance must follow some rules in Season 1. These rules show the working of the new mechanics in Season 1. The rules are:

RA Virus

RA Virus is spread around the world due to the Crimson Plague. Zombies are more powerful than before. Some rules related to the virus are:

• Do not attack the zombies when Virus Resistance is low, as this will cause virus infection.
• Even after having virus resistance, attacking the zombies carrying the virus will still cause infection with a certain amount of virus.
• Reduce the virus stack of allies infected with the virus using one dispatch of a scout.

Season Buildings

• The new season buildings will support the alliance to survive the virus.
• When the season ends, these resources will convert into EXP.

Gene Collection

Collect the gene blocks scattered on the map to earn rewards.

Military Stronghold

• Players need to secure a Level 1 Stronghold first to claim the military stronghold of the elite force of the Crimson Queen.
• Alliance is allowed to capture 2 strongholds every day.
• The Stronghold limit of Alliance increases by 1 for capturing cities of level 1-5 and increases by 3 for cities of level 6.

Cities Captured

• Alliance needs to control at least one military stronghold adjacent to them to declare war on the city.
• Alliance can declare war on 2 cities every day.
• Alliance can control 4 cities in its own warzone.

New Resources in Season 1

New resources are introduced in Season 1. These resources help the alliance to survive the Plague.

Immune Protein

It is a seasonal resource. We use it for constructing the Virus Research Institute, and it also helps to increase the virus resistance for commanders. When the season ends, it gets converted to EXP. We can get Immune Protein from the Protein Farm, as a reward for killing the Level Zombie for the first time, and on completing goals for virus resistance.

Mutant Crystal

Mutant Crystal is a seasonal resource. We use it for constructing the Protein Farm and upgrading the Military bases. It also increases virus resistance. It also gets converted to EXP after the season ends. We can get Mutant Crystal from Genetic Recombination, Season Battle Pass, Doom Walker First Blood Kill, and Season Quest Missions. Sometimes players avoid these methods, and they get the currency and other resources through a Last War Survival top up to progress faster. Gene Fragments

The main purpose of Gene Fragments is to recombine them to get the Mutant Crystal. There are six types of Gene Fragments, and we can get them from various sources. Completing missions that include killing Doom Walker, Doom elite, and killing different Zombies like Infected Zombies and Crimson Zombies gives Gene Fragments of type one to three, and curing the allies gives type four to five Gene Fragments.

New Map in Last War Survival Season 1

The world map has changed a lot in Season 1. The map becomes bigger, and many new things have been added to the map that make it completely new.

The map is filled with Cities, Military Strongholds, and new Buildings. Players need to recapture the cities by following the various rules. Understanding these components of the map is very important.

Cities

Recapturing the cities is a major part of the new world map. It gives many rewards, bonuses, and buffs. The alliance needs to have control over an adjacent Military Stronghold to declare war on a city. Capturing the cities increases alliance influence points. Different amounts of points are given for different city levels.

Military Strongholds

Military Stronghold is the base of the Crimson Queen’s elite force. It is a seasonal building, and the infected zombies protect it. Players need to capture a level 1 Stronghold first to expand their territory, and the daily limit is 2 strongholds per day.

Military Bases

Military bases have three buildings. All three buildings are used to enhance different types of heroes. These buildings are upgraded using Immune Protein and Mutant Crystal. We can upgrade Military Bases up to level 30. Every upgrade increases the stats of the hero.

Protein Farm

We get the Immune Protein from the Protein Farm, and it is used for constructing the Virus Research Institute. In Season 1, there are 5 Protein Farms, and to upgrade the Protein Farm, we use Mutant Crystals. There are 30 levels of upgradation for Protein Farm, and when the first Protein Farm reaches level 5, the next Protein Farm is unlocked.

Virus Research Institute

To enhance the Virus Resistance, we use this building. It is constructed and upgraded using the Immune Protein. With every upgrade, the Virus Resistance increases. Surviving the Virus is the key in Season 1, and we get the Virus resistance from the Virus Research Institute, which makes it very valuable.

Other Important Changes in Season 1

Season 1 has many upgrades and changes. Some other major changes are:

• Hero Return Tickets are available this season. These are used to get shards of heroes.
• Using the Exclusive Weapon Battle Pass, we can get the Weapon Shards for Exclusive Weapons.
• Many buffs and debuffs are available to fight the virus.
• The zombies have also been upgraded to different types, like tank and aircraft.
