Last Z Halloween Havoc Guide: Buy the Night Raven Deadwood First

Halloween Havoc has arrived in Last Z: Survival Shooter, and it is not the kind of seasonal event you can sleepwalk through. The shop alone totals roughly 880,000 candy if you try to clear it, while the single best-value item in the entire event costs just 2,400. That gap is the entire story of this event: the winners will not be the players who spend the most. They will be the players who spend in the right order.

What makes Halloween Havoc unusually strategic is that server groups start on different dates, giving later servers up to eight days of live intelligence before their event even opens. Servers S1–S64 begin on October 20th. Servers in Season 3 and later start on October 26th. Season 2 servers open on October 27th, and Season 1 servers on October 28th. If you are in a later group, the best thing you can do is wait, watch, and plan before spending a single lollipop.

The Two Currencies That Run Everything

The Two Currencies That Run Everything

Halloween Havoc uses two event currencies, and confusing them is the fastest way to waste your event window.

Pumpkins are your pinball marbles. You consume them in the Pinball Battle to bounce a ball into reward pockets. Lollipops with the pumpkin face are your candy, spent exclusively in the Witch’s Shop. Candy is the currency that decides whether you walk away with the Night Raven Deadwood or a pile of speed-ups. Treat it like a budget, not a wallet.

Witch’s Magic and the Halloween Lottery: The Free-Value Engine

The official event layout lists Witch’s Magic as the first tab: visit the witch, collect Wish Bottles, and send them to friends. The critical detail is that both sides receive Halloween Lottery Tickets when bottles are exchanged. This is the only confirmed free ticket pipeline in the event, which makes it the first thing you should do every day—before pinball, before shopping, before anything else.

The Halloween Lottery works on a daily jackpot number drawn from 1 to 100 at midnight apocalypse time. Each ticket gives you either 5 diamonds, 20 diamonds, or a gold lucky number for 25 candy per draw. If duplicate numbers do not count toward the jackpot, each unique number represents roughly a 1% chance, so twenty different numbers is approximately a20% shot at the daily jackpot. The jackpot panel in the preview build lists diamonds, two Golden Wrenches, and five 1-hour speed-ups, though the top prize is still unconfirmed.

Here is the practical rule: do not spend candy on lottery tickets until you have secured the Night Raven Deadwood. The lottery is a chance at value; the tree is guaranteed value. Gambling before securing the floor is how F2P players leave Halloween Havoc with nothing but lucky numbers and regret.

Witch’s Magic and the Halloween Lottery: The Free-Value Engine

Pinball Battle: The Marble Engine

The Pinball Battle is the engine that generates everything else. You tap one of three launchers, and the marble bounces at random into one of seven pockets at the bottom. The expected pocket payouts are 30, 50, 100, a center jackpot, 150, and 30 candy. You cannot aim, so the edge pockets are the weak ones by design.

The real reason to keep firing is not the pockets. It is the two Wish Rings in the middle of the board. The left ring pays 2,000 Enhancement Alloy once your marbles hit the ring enough times. The right ring pays 200 Modification Blueprints. Those are the rewards that justify the marble grind even when every pocket feels stingy.

Three mechanical details matter more than they look. First, the first bounce each day is free and resets at midnight, so never let a day end without using it. Second, there is a daily progress bar shown as 0/10 that pays rewards as you spend marbles, which means the cost of each marble is offset by progress toward a guaranteed payout. Third, you can tap any pocket to see its contents and drop rates before you commit marbles, which is exactly what you should do on your first day before firing in volume.

The sobering math: even if every marble hit the 100-candy pocket, the 45,000-candy Ring of Ghostfire aura would require 450 marbles. Nobody buys everything in this event. The pinball board is a budget constraint disguised as a minigame.

The Night Carnival: Free Value You Cannot Reclaim

The Night Carnival is a 7-day login track with milestone chests at5, 20, 50, 70, and 95 points. Each row is expected to give a carnival token, a pumpkin, a cube, and resource boxes. The final chest appears to contain a witch hat avatar frame with no stat bonuses. There is also a Witch’s Gift section beneath the login rows.

The Night Carnival is not where the power lives. It is where the free value lives, and free value compounds: every day you skip login is a day you cannot recover. Claim every row, every day, even if you are not spending candy that day.

Witch’s Shop: What to Buy and What to Ignore

Witch’s Shop:

The Witch’s Shop is where Halloween Havoc is won or lost. Page one holds the headline items: the Ring of Ghostfire aura at 45,000, the Night Raven Deadwood at 2,400, and a 60,000 Return Gold Chest, all with very limited stock. Page two is the practical page: more Golden Wrenches, Power Cores,21-hour speed-ups for 500, 150k resource packs for 50 candy each, and—most importantly—100 Enhancement Alloy for just 1 candy with 500 available. That alloy shares the icon of the Wish Ring reward, so it is almost certainly the same item.

The Night Raven Deadwood: The First Purchase, No Debate

The Night Raven Deadwood is an S-rank decoration with a raven, bats, and candles. At level one, it gives +3% troop attack, +3% troop defense, and 30,000 power. Only one is available, and it costs 2,400 candy.

Put that next to the Ring of Ghostfire, which costs 45,000 candy and gives +2% true attack and nothing else. The aura costs nearly 19 times the tree for fewer stats. The tree is not just the best item in the event; it is the item that makes every other purchase feel optional.

The Ring of Ghostfire: Wait Before You Spend

The Ring of Ghostfire is a purple and gold ring of runes and flames under your HQ. It is not a skin. The dragon often shown alongside it is the Nightmare HQ skin, not the aura. The unresolved question is whether the aura works on every skin or only one. Until that is confirmed, spending 45,000 candy on the aura is premature. Buy the tree first; test the aura’s behavior second; only then decide whether the true-attack bonus is worth the cost.

The Correct Candy Order

If you follow one sequence, follow this one:

1. Night Raven Deadwood (2,400). One stock, massive stat-per-candy ratio, immediate power.

2. Golden Wrenches, cheapest per piece first. Small pack: 80 candy each. Minus-10% bundle: 72. Minus-30% bundle: 56. If the stock reads correctly, there are 1,400 wrenches, totaling roughly 102,000 candy. Buy the discounted bundles before the small packs, always.

3. Discounted Power Cores and the Equipment Chest. Power cores run about 6.7 candy each in the small pack and 4.7 in the discounted bundle. The equipment chest costs 3,500. These stocks are tiny, so buy them before they disappear.

4. The 1-candy Enhancement Alloy. 100 alloy for 1 candy, 500 stock. This is the highest raw-value line item in the entire shop and it disappears fast. Buy all 500.

5. Lottery tickets, only after the floor is secured. Use the tickets you earn from Witch’s Magic first; only spend candy on extra draws if you have already locked in the tree, the wrenches, and the alloy.

6. The Ring of Ghostfire, last. Wait for aura–skin confirmation and for your candy budget to be genuinely surplus. The tree does more for less.

The Marble Supplies Pass: Free Track First, Super Pass Last

The Marble Supplies Pass:

Marble Supplies is a three-tier pass. The free track should be claimed in full by everyone. The Premium Pass at 499 is expected to give 28 pumpkins, nine Golden Wrenches, 15 speed-ups, and the Trickster emote. The Super Pass at 1,999 is expected to give 110 pumpkins, 45 Golden Wrenches, and 60 speed-ups.

The Super Pass offers roughly four times the marbles for four times the price, with no hidden discount. The Premium Pass does not list the emote in the same way, so if you want the Trickster emote—a ghost in a witch hat for chat and world view—the Premium track is the cleaner path. Free players should claim the free track and stop. Premium is the small step up. Super is the purchase you should think twice about.

Conclusion

Halloween Havoc rewards players who treat candy like a resource, not a currency. The Night Raven Deadwood is the single most efficient purchase in the event at 2,400 candy for +3% attack, +3% defense, and 30,000 power. The Ring of Ghostfire is the opposite: 45,000 candy for +2% true attack and an unresolved question about whether it works on more than one skin. Buy the tree first. Buy the discounted wrenches and the 1-candy alloy next. Let the lottery and the aura wait until the floor is secure. That is how you leave Halloween Havoc stronger than the players who spent more—and that is the only score that matters.
