Last Z runs multiple shops in parallel, and each one operates on a different currency with a different rotation schedule. Players who treat all of them the same end up either hoarding too much of the wrong currency or blowing high-value medals on filler items.

The short version: the Glory Shop is your most reliable weekly investment. The Merit Shop is the highest-priority shop in the game — but only during State Ruler. Everything else fits around those two anchors. Here's a full breakdown of what to buy, what to skip, and when timing changes the math.

Can You Pay for Last Z Top-Ups in Other Currencies?

Last Z's own in-game store prices everything in USD by default, which is one of the most common points of confusion for players outside the US. LDShop checkout isn't limited to that — you can select your local currency and preferred payment method at checkout, so what you pay matches your card or wallet statement instead of relying on your bank's own conversion rate (and its markup) on a USD charge.

This matters most for players topping up regularly. A USD-denominated purchase run through a foreign-currency card usually carries a conversion fee on top of the sticker price — small on a single $4.99 pack, but it adds up across a weekly Glory Shop cycle and a monthly ApocaAid Pass. Checking out in your own currency through LDShop avoids that stacked fee.

You can top up Last Z in your local currency directly through LDShop, avoiding the extra conversion fee USD-only stores charge.

Last Z Glory Shop — Your Weekly Priority List

Glory Shop

The Glory Shop is where your weekly shop routine should start. It runs on Glory Points and resets on a regular cycle, and it consistently stocks some of the most progression-relevant materials in the game.

Buy every cycle, in this order:

Priority

Item

Notes

1st

Versatile Orange Hero Fragments

Versatile Orange Hero Fragments

Always buy full stock — top hero upgrade material

2nd

Golden Wrenches

Golden Wrenches

Essential for vehicle mods; especially valuable before Vehicle Boost

3rd

Exclusive Equipment Framework Fragments
Exclusive Equipment Framework Fragments

Rare appearance, always buy when they show up

4th

Random Component Boxes

Random Component Boxes

Solid consistent buy once top three are cleared

After those four, Refugee Tickets and Enhancement Alloy are worthwhile secondary purchases, particularly if an Alliance Duel cycle is approaching. Glory Chests work as a last resort if points still remain.

Modification Blueprints sit at the bottom of the list — not a skip, but always fill these after everything else has been cleared.

Last Z Merit Shop — The State Ruler Rule

Merit Shop

The Merit Shop has one rule that covers every decision inside it: only spend Merit Medals during State Ruler. Outside of that event window, hold them.

During State Ruler, the Merit Shop becomes the best shop in the game. The items available, and the rate at which medals convert into real progression, aren't matched anywhere else. Buy in this order when State Ruler is active:

  • Power Cores first. The medal-to-value ratio here is the strongest in the shop. Clear the full stock before anything else.
  • Versatile Orange Hero Fragments second. When these appear during State Ruler, they're competitive with Power Cores on a per-medal basis for many accounts. Don't skip them.
  • Orange Equipment Choice Box third. The 30-item box at 30K medals is significantly more efficient than the higher-cost Power Core variant. If both are available, buy this one first.

At all times — event or not — skip purple equipment boxes, basic tickets, and resource crates. The medal cost doesn't match the progression impact at any serious account level.

Between State Ruler events, don't touch the Merit Shop. Spending medals outside that window loses most of the value they're designed to deliver.

Last Z VIP Shop — One Buy, Full Stop

VIP Shop

The VIP Shop is straightforward. Golden Wrenches are the only consistent purchase. Every other item in the shop is lower priority than saving your VIP Points for them.

Golden Wrenches feed directly into vehicle modification progression, and they double in effective value during Vehicle Boost events when every upgrade earns event points. VIP Points are scarce enough that routing them toward anything else is almost always a mistake. Clear the Wrench stock each cycle and move on.

Speed-ups specifically are a skip here. They're available through enough other channels that burning VIP Points on them instead of Wrenches is a poor trade.

Raising your VIP level

VIP level is separate from the VIP Shop's weekly stock — it's driven by cumulative Diamond spend, not by what you buy in the shop itself. Climbing VIP tiers is what unlocks the VIP Shop's higher-value rotations in the first place, along with recruitment bonuses, construction and research speed bonuses, and shop discounts elsewhere in the game. The exact item and bonus unlocked at each individual VIP tier shifts between balance patches, so treat VIP level as a long-term investment you build through normal Diamond spend rather than something to rush by buying Diamonds specifically for the next tier.

Last Z License Store — Strategy, Research, and Advanced Modification Licenses

IMG_256

Separate from the rotating shops above, Last Z sells a small set of one-time permanent Licenses through Diamonds: the Strategy License, the Research License, and the Advanced Modification License. Unlike everything covered so far, these aren't stock that refreshes — you buy each one once, and it stays unlocked on your account permanently.

That permanence is what makes them a priority purchase for any account planning to play long-term. Each License unlocks a continuous stream of extra resources, speed-ups, or research capacity rather than a one-time reward, so the value compounds the longer you hold the account. If you're deciding between spending Diamonds on a License or on a rotating shop's stock, the License wins almost every time — a rotating shop item helps for a week, a License helps for the life of the account.

Camilla's Shop separately restocks Advanced Mod License-related materials on rotation (see below) — that's a different, recurring resource from the one-time License Store purchase, so don't confuse the two when planning where to spend.

ApocaAid Monthly Pass

IMG_256

Yes, for nearly any account spending regularly. The ApocaAid Monthly Pass is a 30-day subscription that pays out daily Diamonds and speed-up items, plus a recurring Trade opportunity that has a strong chance of returning Golden Wrenches, Diamonds, or hero fragments each cycle. Priced against what those daily rewards would cost bought individually, it's one of the highest value-per-dollar purchases in the game, and it's a recurring source of Golden Wrenches outside the Glory and VIP shops.

The only players who should skip it are accounts that have stepped away from daily logins — the Pass pays out over 30 days, so an inactive account loses most of its value. If you're logging in even semi-regularly, it's worth activating before your next Glory Shop cycle so the Wrenches from its Trade rewards line up with your weekly routine.

Last Z Camilla's Shop — Advanced Mod License is the Priority

Camilla's Shop

Camilla's Shop rotates with events and its inventory shifts from cycle to cycle, but the purchase logic stays the same regardless of what's available.

The Advanced Mod License is the top buy whenever it appears. It's required for vehicle modification at higher upgrade stages and genuinely difficult to accumulate through regular gameplay. Buy the full stock without hesitation whenever it shows up. Rare modification and vehicle upgrade materials follow the same logic — source them here because they're harder to find elsewhere.

Common speed-ups are a skip in Camilla's Shop. The token cost isn't justified given how many other ways speed-ups can be obtained.

Last Z Time-Limited Shop — Badges First, Orange Fragments Second

Time-Limited Shop

The Time-Limited Shop rotates with events and occasionally stocks some of the best items available anywhere in the game. Two categories are always worth buying when they appear.

Badges are a consistent buy regardless of which event is running. They're essential for high-tier research nodes and don't expire, so there's no reason to pass on them. Buy every badge available.

Versatile Orange Fragments unlock at VIP Level 10. Once you hit that threshold, treat these the same as the Glory Shop stock — buy whenever they appear. Outside the Glory Shop, this is one of the few reliable sources.

Purple hero fragments are a skip. At any stage where competitive progression matters, purple fragments aren't moving the needle in a meaningful direction.

Last Z Power Core Store — Fuel Every Cycle, Nothing Else

Item

Verdict

Fuel

Buy every cycle

Advanced Teleporters

Situational — buy if alliance movement is a near-term need

Power Cores

Skip — standard event play generates enough

Fuel is the only consistent purchase in the Power Core Store. It supports vehicle activity and long-term account momentum in ways that players focused purely on troop and hero investment tend to undervalue.

Advanced Teleporters are the one situational exception. If your alliance is actively repositioning, preparing for a war, or server politics make movement a realistic near-term requirement, pick them up. If your server situation is stable, skip.

Don't buy Power Cores directly from this store. Standard event completion generates 150–250 Power Cores per week in most cases. Purchasing them here is almost never necessary.

Last Z Black Market — Valor Medals and Orange Equipment

The Black Market runs on Valor Medals, earned through Enemy Buster chest unlocks on Alliance Duel Day 6. A full chest unlock produces 5,200 Valor Medals, or up to 10,400 if Alliance Recognition research is active.

The correct use of Valor Medals is orange equipment. It's one of the few reliable ways to acquire specific gear pieces outside of standard crafting, and the medal cost is justified. Orange equipment first, then reassess what's left.

Everything else in the Black Market is lower priority and can be skipped until your orange equipment purchases are complete.

Diamonds vs. Gold Bars — Where Each Currency Should Go

Last Z runs on two premium currencies, and mixing them up is one of the more common ways new spenders waste value. Gold Bars are what you top up directly through LDShop and the official store — they're the currency behind the packs, Sweetheart Vouchers, and Holiday Passes in the top-up table above. Diamonds are the in-game premium currency those top-ups convert into (along with what you earn from events, achievements, and world-map nodes), and they're what you actually spend on Licenses, the ApocaAid Pass, hero unlocks, and instant construction or research completion.

The practical takeaway: don't sit on a large Diamond balance waiting for "the right moment." Diamonds accumulate VIP points the moment you spend them, so holding a stockpile idle costs you VIP progression as well as the opportunity cost of the purchase itself. The exception is when you're saving toward a specific one-time target — a License you're short on, or a banner pull during a State Ruler or Vehicle Boost window — in which case holding for a few days to hit that target is worth it. Spending in small amounts on whatever's in front of you, with no target, is the actual mistake to avoid.

FAQ

What's the most important shop in Last Z?

For regular weekly play, the Glory Shop. During State Ruler specifically, the Merit Shop takes priority for that event window. Outside of State Ruler, don't spend Merit Medals.

Can I buy Power Cores in the Power Core Store?

You can, but it's generally not worth it. Standard event completion provides enough Power Cores for most accounts. Only consider buying them here if you're under unusual time pressure.

When does Camilla's Shop appear?

It rotates with specific events, so it's not always available. When it is, Advanced Mod Licenses are the priority buy — don't sit on your event tokens if they're in stock.

Is it worth buying speed-ups in the VIP Shop?

No. Speed-ups come from enough other sources that VIP Points are better spent on Golden Wrenches every time.

What are Valor Medals for in the Black Market?

Orange equipment. That's the primary and best use. Valor Medals are earned through Enemy Buster chest unlocks on Alliance Duel Day 6, so the supply is tied to how actively your alliance competes.

Does shop priority change between F2P and paying players?

The order stays largely the same — Orange Hero Fragments, Golden Wrenches, and State Ruler timing matter at every spending level. The difference is mostly in how much stock a paying player can clear each cycle versus a free player rationing purchases.

What does VIP level unlock in Last Z?

VIP level unlocks the higher-value rotations in the VIP Shop, along with recruitment, construction, and research speed bonuses elsewhere in the game. It rises with cumulative Diamond spend rather than being something you buy directly — the fastest way to climb it is normal Diamond spending on Licenses, hero upgrades, and the ApocaAid Pass rather than buying Diamonds purely to push the number up.

Is the ApocaAid Monthly Pass worth buying in Last Z?

Yes for most active accounts. It returns daily Diamonds and speed-ups over 30 days plus a recurring Trade chance at Golden Wrenches or hero fragments, which outperforms most one-off shop purchases on a value-per-Diamond basis. It's only a weak buy for accounts that aren't logging in daily, since the value is spread across the full month.

Should I spend Diamonds or save them?

Spend them with a target in mind rather than letting a balance sit idle — idle Diamonds don't earn VIP progression and don't compound the way a Golden Wrench or a permanent License does. Saving toward a specific short-term target, like a License you're close to affording, is the one case where holding for a few days is worth it.

Can I pay for my Last Z top-up in my own currency instead of USD?

Yes. LDShop checkout lets you select your local currency and payment method, so you avoid the extra conversion markup that comes with running a USD-denominated purchase through a foreign-currency card.
