Yone is the strongest hero in Wild Rift patch 7.2c. No other champion matches his blend of safe laning and late game damage right now. His win rate hovers near 52%, and roughly one in six ranked drafts bans him before he reaches the board. Let’s follow LDshop, as below you get the full 7.2c tier list across all five roles, the win rate leaders, the balance changes behind the reshuffle, and the picks to leave alone.

Yone and Jax both abuse Blade of the Ruined King, which is the single best item on this patch. Volibear takes the safest slot instead, since his level 1 to 5 trading pattern beats almost every baron laner in Wild Rift.
Watch Fiora carefully. Creator lists still place her in S, but her live win rate has fallen to 46%. The bruiser pool simply outscales her right now.

Pantheon is the strange one here. Early game junglers are supposed to fall off, but his damage multipliers scale harder than they should. He still deletes squishies at three items, and 52.4% reflects that.
Rammus tops the jungle at 56.1%, though the number lies a little. Players only lock him once a Master Yi or Yone appears on the enemy board. Blind pick him into a mage comp and that win rate collapses fast.

Mid rewards map pressure over raw burst on this patch. Twisted Fate proves it at 52.5%, since one well timed ultimate turns a farmed lane into a free Dragon.
Ryze is the trap pick. Several lists still show him near the top, but 7.2c cut his base health, base armour and Rune Prison damage. His win rate has already slipped under 50%. Treat any 7.2c list still calling him S+ as outdated.

Both S+ marksmen build Manamune, which is the clearest signal in the role. Crit builds have fallen behind on-hit and stacking paths, which is why Caitlyn and Tristana sit in C despite high pick rates.
Yunara launched to a 42% win rate and heavy criticism. She now sits at 50.5% with an 11.7% pick rate and a 14.6% ban rate. Players simply needed time to find the Bloodthirster and Rapid Firecannon path.
New marksmen are never cheap, and Wild Cores drain quickly across a season. Sort out a LOL Wild Rift top up if you want her unlocked before the next balance pass moves her again. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great way to save money.

Thresh received buffs across all his abilities and now chains his hook with almost no downtime when stacking ability haste. Sona holds a 53.1% win rate while demanding the lowest mechanical skill of any support in Wild Rift.
Senna is the most underused S+ pick. She works far better paired with a bruiser or tank partner than in a double marksman lane, which is how most players run her.

Every entry above 54% carries a pick rate under 5%. That is not coincidence. Low pick rate plus high win rate almost always means counter pick, not raw strength.
Patch 7.2c Changes That Moved the Tier List
Patch 7.2c went live on August 12, 2026.
- Nerfed: Nilah, Nasus, Ryze, Warwick, Kog'Maw
- Buffed: Cho'Gath, Jinx
- Reshaped: Leona, Rumble
- Tier 2 boots: Mercury's Treads tenacity doubled to 30%, Plated Steelcaps block raised to 10%
- Tier 3 boots: Gunmetal Greaves, Chainlaced Crushers, Armored Advance and Spellslinger's Shoes all lost stats
- Items: Sunfire Aegis moved to 40 armour, Stridebreaker gained 10% attack speed, Mikael's Blessing now heals 9%
- Dragons: Infernal bonus raised to 4%, Mountain Soul shield raised to 350, Ocean sustain raised to 2.8%
- Baron lane: pre 6:00 minion damage reduction removed, so long freezes no longer hold
The boot change is the one most players are misplaying. Mercury's Treads at 30% tenacity is now a genuine spike, so rushing the Tier 3 upgrade against heavy crowd control often makes you weaker.
Champions to Avoid in Wild Rift Patch 7.2c
- Master Yi, under 48% win rate with the highest ban rate in the game at 56%
- Mel, sitting near 45% after repeated nerfs
- Akali, below 45% in both baron and mid
- Yuumi, at 44% and entirely dependent on getting a strong teammate
- Warwick, whose ultimate cooldown jumped a full 20 seconds at every rank
- Nasus, now on 40 base armour and a 90 second ultimate at rank one
How This Wild Rift Tier List Was Built
Rankings here combine three inputs. First, live ranked win rate, pick rate and ban rate from high elo brackets. Second, the current 7.2c balance data taken directly from the official notes. Third, challenger level creator rankings, used to catch champions whose strength does not show in raw statistics.
Where sources disagree, the article says so instead of averaging the conflict away. Fiora and Ryze are the two clearest examples on this patch.
Conclusion
Patch 7.2c rewards early fighting and objective control, which is why bruisers, fast clearing junglers and engage supports fill the top of the Wild Rift tier list. Yone stands as the strongest hero overall, with Thresh and Smolder close behind in their own roles. Pair any S+ pick with disciplined Dragon control, since Souls now decide fights on their own. Rankings will shift again at the next sub patch, so treat this Wild Rift tier list as a snapshot of the current meta rather than a permanent hierarchy.
