Over the years, Mobile Legends Bang Bang or MLBB has consistently remained one of the most popular MOBA titles worldwide because of its ever changing meta, regular balance updates and major collabs. The thing that makes MLBB stand out among other MOBA games is its impressive roster of heroes. Amidst the past years, many new heroes have been introduced while the old ones found it hard to stay in the meta for long.

One of the heroes that has risen up in the current meta of MLBB and is making a mess for the players is one of the OG heroes – Aamon. Due to his camouflage skill, burst potential and highly slippery movement speed, it is hard for players with low level skills to counter a decent Aamon player.

Whether you are aiming to top the leaderboard in the next season or preparing for your upcoming tournaments, mastering Aamon will definitely give you the much needed boost to your hero pool. Let’s follow LDShop, as we will include everything you need to know about Aamon’s passive, skill set and mechanics. Moreover, we will also add the best builds and best practices on Aamon to make this a complete Aamon guide for you.

MLBB Best Aamon Guide

Aamon is an assassin type hero who is most efficiently used in the jungle role. For OG MLBB players, Aamon is somewhat of an old hero with the hero number #109, who was released on 26th October, 2021. Back in the day, Aamon was a nightmare for a team with no AOE in the enemy because of his camouflage that makes him untargetable.

All of sudden, Aamon’s pick rate was on a hike and touched 1.07% with a win rate of 53.52%. Due to the meta shift, many players are living in the terror of Aamon, resulting in his ban rate going up to around 51%. If your team draft is high on physical damage and you want to balance it out, then Aamon is one of the best picks to add that much needed magic damage to your team.

Some Trivias:

  • Aamon becomes untargetable by any basic attack or single target skill during his camouflage state.
  • Aamon is the brother of Gusion and descendant of Valentina.
  • Aamon’s Soul Vessel skin is returning so be ready to empty your pockets on some MLBB top up for the returning skin. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great way to save money.

Skills and Passive

Passive – Invisible Armor

Aamon’s passive ability is called “Invisible Armor” which is said to be based down as a generational thing in Aamon’s bloodline. The passive ability triggers whenever aamon’s skill hits an enemy and lets aamon enter the camouflage state. During the camouflage state, he becomes untargetable, gains 60% extra movement speed and restores 25 (+15% of Total Magic Power) (+3% of Lost HP) HP per 0.6 seconds.

After he leaves the Camouflage state, his next attack becomes an enhanced basic attack for 2.5 seconds which deals 100 (+100% of Total Physical Attack) (+65% of Total Magic Power) as Magic Damage. The EBA has an extended range of 3. Using the enhanced basic attack also reduces the cooldown for every skill by 0.5s. If you cast the EBA during the camouflage state, its damage is increased to 120%.

Skill 1 – Soul Shards

Aamon’s first skill is a burst type skill. For the passive of the skill, he charges his armor each time he casts a skill or hits the enemy with it. He throws 6 shards at the target when the charge reaches 5 to deal 40-100 (+15% of Total Magic Damage) as Magic Damage. The shards scatters on the nearby area of the target

While for the active state, he just throws shards at the target to inflict 150-300 (+60% of Total Magic Power) as Magic Damage.

Shards

  • The shards you drop will be visible to everyone.
  • They last for 8 seconds on the ground.
  • A maximum of 12 can be scattered at once.

Skill 2 – Slayer Shards

Aamon’s second skill is called “Slayer Shards” where he throws the shards in the forward direction. If the shard hits a non-minion enemy then it deals 120-220 (+50% of Total Magic Power) as Magic DMG and slows them by 50% for 2 seconds.

If the shards do not hit an enemy, they come back to Aamon after a slight delay. In both cases, it triggers Aamon’s camouflage state.

Skill 3 – Ultimate

Aamon’s third skill or the Ultimate is called “Endless shards” where he throws all his collected shards at a single enemy. The target’s movement speed is reduced by 1.5 seconds when the shards first travel to the target, and after a short delay, the shards expands and converges to deal 90-110 (+24% of Total Magic Power) - 150-180 (+40% of Total Magic Power) per Shard as Magic DMG.

The Damage increases per shard that is ground shards between 8-25 and the shards that increases with Aamon’s armor charge. This damage also increases with the target’s lost HP and deals the max damage when the target’s HP drops below 30%.
