New Operator: Tempest (Claire Ann Byers)

New Operator: Tempest

Tempest is a versatile Assault-class operator who excels in high-pressure scenarios and rapid response engagements. As the first female operator in her class, she brings a distinct balance of mobility, control, and survivability to the front lines. Designed for players who favor calculated aggression and tactical flexibility, Tempest is built to outmaneuver, disrupt, and endure when the fight turns chaotic.

Trait: Momentum Boost

Tempest gains a brief (~10%) speed burst when fired near her, hit, or performing a roll.

While useful, her mobility buff is weaker compared to operators like D-WOLF or Vyron.

Gadget 1: Combat Roll

Claire performs a forward roll of up to 7 meters. This ability can only be used on ground or at low elevations. Using the roll after falling from a height reduces fall damage.

Gadget 2: Electro Dagger

Can be thrown at walls, projecting an electromagnetic field 7 meters deep and 3 meters wide behind the impact point. Enemies caught in the field are disarmed for 3 seconds—also unable to sprint or use abilities.

Deals no damage.

Tactical Gear: Anchor Recall System

Claire places two anchor points. If downed within a 40-meter radius, she is automatically pulled back to the anchors and can self-revive. A sound cue triggers when near the max range.

New Map: Tide Prison

New Map: Tide Prison

Tide Prison is a tightly packed, high-intensity indoor map featuring both vertical complexity and underwater zones. Spanning four distinct floors, the map is divided into multiple combat sectors, each centered around a marked vault that serves as a key objective and high-value loot point. Combat in the prison is tight and unforgiving, with small rooms and narrow hallways fostering frequent close-quarters engagements. However, the map is also designed with multiple access points between sectors, giving players ample opportunity for flanking and ambushes.

Respawn mechanics have also evolved: there are twelve spawn points, but players must complete a simple decryption task to escape and reacquire gear.

New Extraction Methods in Tide Prison

Extraction in this new environment comes in three forms.

Helicopter evacuation: The helicopter evacuation becomes available in the final ten minutes of a match, but its location leaves players exposed to attacks from both land and underwater enemies.

Underground tunnel evacuation: Alternatively, players can escape through the underground tunnels by first completing a mini-game in the third floor of the medical area, then head to the second floor of the office block and activate the switch. One of the three tunnels will be randomly unlocked. Each tunnel can only be opened once. After one closes, there’s a five-minute cooldown before the switch can be used again. You can activate the switch to two times in total.

Bagless extraction: Lastly, bagless extraction becomes available fifteen minutes into the match, located deep in a trench with just a single extraction slot.

New Gameplay Mechanic: Diving

New Gameplay Mechanic: Diving

One of the season’s most intriguing additions is the new diving mechanic. Players can now explore underwater zones in Tide Prison using a limited oxygen gauge, with two movement speeds—normal and sprint. Surface-level gunfire is possible, while certain abilities can also be used underwater. However, visibility is limited to just three meters when observing from above, adding tactical ambiguity and the potential for stealth ambushes.

There's no need to reach the core vault—underwater zones are rich with loot, offering alternative routes for exploration and gear collection. This opens up more flexible strategies for players who prefer stealth, flanking, or avoiding high-traffic zones early on.

New Boss: “Raven”

New Boss: “Raven”

Season 5 also introduces a new boss: Raven, accompanied by four bodyguards armed with hammers. These enforcers have 400 health and deal 90 damage per melee strike. In beta server, Raven was shown to release a hallucinogenic mist that stuns players and reduces movement speed. Successfully defeating him yields highly valuable loot, including the D6 Tactical Helmet, Elite Vest, .357 Revolver , .375 Magnum FMJ, MAP Recon Backpack, and a new keycard that grant access to the bio-sample lab in Tide Prison—reportedly worth over 2.5 million Delta Coins.

New Weapons and Gear

AM17

The update also expands the arsenal. A new assault rifle, the AM-17, fires 5.45mm rounds. It can be upgraded with the extended barrel, extending its optimal range to 72 meters with no damage falloff. The addition of a new 2x scope further enhances its precision.

Compound Bow

Archery also enters the game with the Compound Bow, which offers both tap fire and charged shots. While tap shots can deal up to 153 damage to the head, they are subject to significant projectile drop. Charged shots increase base damage—up to 180 for headshots—and benefit from specialized Tier-4 and Tier-5 arrows.

Weapon Balance Changes

Balance changes to several existing weapons are also in the works, aiming to fine-tune performance and ensure a more level playing field across different playstyles.

  • Range increased from 27m → 35m; new rear grip attachment added
