Genshin Impact 5.7 Version Preview: New Characters and Events！

Genshin Impact Version 5.7 "A Space and Time for You" launches on June 18, 2025! Details about upcoming Event Wishes and activities have been revealed in the Special Program. 5.7 Banners

The version 5.7 Banners debuts one new 5-Star character, Skirk, and one new 4-Star character, Dahlia, with three 5-Star character reruns: Shenhe, Mavuika, and Emilie.

Phase 1 (18th June to 8th July): Skirk(5-Star), Shenhe(5-Star), Dahlia(4-Star)

Phase 2 (8th July to 29th July): Mavuika(5-Star), Emilie(5-Star)

Skirk is a Cryo Sword user specializing in Freeze team compositions. When Hydro or Cryo teammates deal Elemental DMG, Skirk gains a DMG Bonus to her subsequent Normal Attacks and Elemental Burst. Her Elemental Skill switches combat stances, altering her Elemental Burst effect to either enhance Normal Attack DMG or deliver an instant burst of damage. Additionally, Skirk passively increases all party members' Elemental Skill levels by 1.

Dahlia, a Hydro Sword user , whose Elemental Burst deploys an automatically refreshing Hydro shield and increases ATK SPD for active characters while active.

 

5.7 New Weapon

There will also be one new 5-Star weapon in the version 5.7 Phase 1 weapon Banner: the Azurelight (sword), Skirk's signature.

  Base ATK: 674   CRIT Rate:+22.1%

White Mountain's Bounty: Within 12s after an Elemental Skill is used, ATK is increased by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48% . During this time, when the equipping character has 0 Energy, ATK will be further increased by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48% , and CRIT DMG will be increased by 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80% .

New Archon Quest

The Traveler's journey continues in A Space and Time For You, Archon Quest releasing in Version 5.7!

New Story Quest: Skirk

Skirk will get her own Story Quest in Version 5.7, where we will find out more about Childe's elusive teacher from the Abyss.

 

5.7 New Permanent Challenge Event

Stygian Onslaught

Defeat enemies and conquer challenges solo or in Co-Op mode in this permanent combat event that allows you to farm artifacts, and get the new artifact reroll item, the Dust of Enlightenment! It features three bosses that rotate with every update, as well as six escalating levels of difficulty. Stages can be tackled co-operatively with friends and the mode also reward players with Primogems.

 

5.7 Events

Battle of Imagined Arrays

This Event serves as Version 5.7's flagship event, where players rejoin old friends at the Akademiya. The exclusive reward is Sethos. This innovative auto-chess mode features Faction Resonance effects when deploying units of the same alignment, alongside Artifact equipping and Tactical Relic buff selection – delivering strategic depth. Event-exclusive adventure quests unfold throughout the activity.

Additionally, a casual Fruit Harvest sub-event challenges players to gather ingredients efficiently by drawing a single continuous line while guiding Paimon.

Fearsome Ferocious Firepower

Help an old friend and inventor from Fontaine out, and use his new and improved turret to clear out monsters that have appeared in a long-deserted complex of ruins.

Reminiscent Regimen: Frenzy

Travelers team up with other players to take on challenges, made up of stages which each have unique objectives. Each challenge has its own theme so you need to choose characters that suit the objective.

Traveler's Tales: Gilded Chapter

Find characters in the open world to unlock new scenes and dialogue in the return of this character interaction event!

Overflowing Abundance

In need of Ascension Materials? Overflowing Abundance reruns in Version 5.7!

Imaginarium Theater

Character Trials for Raiden Shogun and Shenhe will be available in Version 5.7. Travelers, be sure to challenge these when the update launches!

Genius Invokation TCG Update

Genius Invokation TCG in Version 5.7 introduces new Character Cards (including Xyphlodia, Mavuika, and Chasca), Action Cards, Equipment Cards, and limited-time events with challenges to the Card Plaza.

Nod-Krai subregion Preview

The new PV introduces key factions including the Shadow of the Wild Hunt, Children of the Frost Moon, and Lamplighters, alongside concept art reveals for four characters: a Snow Realm Sprite, The Doctor of the Fatui, Alice (Klee's mother), and Grand Master Varka leading the Mondstadt Expedition.
