Genshin 6.0 New Artifacts - Best Fits for New Characters

Night of the Sky's Unveiling

Effect:

2P Increases Elemental Mastery by 80.

4P When party members trigger Moonglare reactions, if the equipping character is on the field, gain the Gleaming Moon: Intent effect for 4s: Increases CRIT Rate by 15%/30% when the party's Moonsign is Nascent Gleam/Ascendant Gleam. All party members' Moonglare reaction DMG is increased by 10% for each different Gleaming Moon effect that party members have. The equipping character can trigger this effect while off-field.

Recommended Characters

This artifact set is designed for DPS characters from Nod-Krai.

Among the four available Nod-Krai characters, only Flins is a main DPS, making him the best fit for this artifact set.

• Ineffa plays as an off-field Electro applicator and cannot trigger reactions on-field, so she is not a good match.
• Xilonen can reduce enemy resistance, but she deals no off-field damage, making it hard to activate the Gleaming Moon effect.

Core Mechanism

The 4-piece effect is the key. The "Moonglare" state is triggered when teammates cause a reaction.

The CRIT Rate bonus only applies when the wearer triggers the reaction on-field. So this set is best for main DPS characters who stay on-field most of the time.

Details Attention

（1）Moonsign has two levels: Nascent Gleam and Ascendant Gleam.

• Having 1 Nod-Krai character in the team grants Nascent Gleam.
• Having 2 Nod-Krai characters grants Ascendant Gleam.

To gain the full 30% CRIT Rate, the team must include at least 2 Nod-Krai characters.

In Version 6.0, Ineffa will gain a new passive talent: When Ineffa is in the team, the Moonsign level increases by 1.

（2）Moonglare Reactions refer to new transformative reactions like Lunar-Charged.

Lunar Bloom deals direct damage and does not benefit from the +20% Moonglare Reaction Bonus (this may be a bug).

Gleaming Moon is a special effect unique to Nod-Krai artifact sets.

There are two types:

• Intent (from Silken Moon's Serenade)
• Devotion (from Night of the Sky's Unveiling)

To get the full 20% Moonglare Reaction Bonus, your team needs:

• At least 1 character with Silken Moon
• At least 1 character with Night of the Sky.

Future prediction

Right now, Night of the Sky’s Unveiling has limited compatibility.

Its value will increase if future characters can stay on-field and consistently trigger Moonglare Reactions.

If new characters also bring resistance shred and Moonglare synergy, team-building options will improve significantly.

 

Silken Moon's Serenade

Effect:

2P Energy Recharge +20%

4P When dealing Elemental DMG, gain the Gleaming Moon: Devotion effect for 8s: Increases all party members' Elemental Mastery by 60/120 when the party's Moonsign is Nascent Gleam/Ascendant Gleam. All party members' Moonglare reaction DMG is increased by 10% for each different Gleaming Moon effect that party members have. The equipping character can trigger this effect while off-field.

Recommended Characters

Ineffa, Lauma, and other Nod-Krai sub-DPS or support characters.

When the wearer deals Elemental DMG, they gain Gleaming Moon for 8 seconds.

The whole team gets 60/120 Elemental Mastery.

Gleaming Moon Bonus Mechanism

• For each unique Gleaming Moon type (Devotion / Intent) in the team, Moonglare Reaction Bonus increases by 10%.
• Using both artifact sets together gives up to 40% bonus.
• Most importantly, the sets don’t state “non-stackable”, meaning everyone in the team can equip them for up to 80% total Moonglare Reaction Bonus—extremely powerful!

Details to Note
Both Ineffa and Lauma have 60-cost Bursts. However, neither generates Energy Particles when casting their Skills. Their off-field Skill hits each have a 66.7% chance to generate 1 particle, so both need high Energy Recharge to function well.

However, there’s also an issue. Many players thought that one Nod-Krai character would benefit from the first-tier effect, and two characters would allow both tiers to stack, with their bonuses combining. But it has now been confirmed that even if your team has two Nod-Krai characters, only the second-tier effect will be triggered, and the first-tier effect does not stack.

 

Conclusion

It’s now confirmed that the new artifact sets only require two Nod-Krai characters in the team to fully activate their 4-piece effects.
These two sets will significantly strengthen the Moonglare reaction system by addressing its lack of damage bonuses, making them a core part of future team building.
